I was thinking about some of my older games and was remembering some of theBoss fights and mini enemies that if allowed to get too close, can kill you in one hit no matter how strong you were. I can't remember all of them so I will need some assistance in creating this list. I am not talking about the SMB or Contra games that didnt not have an energy bar, but game characters that would have a special attack that basically had no defense.

Here are a few to get the list started:

1 - Toneberry (FF series) - He had the knife attack that if struck, would kill a character instantly

2 - Bahamut (FFII SNES) - If you didn't cast reflect on your own party, his Mega-Flare caused 9999 damage no matter how strong or what level your characters were.

3 - Mike Tyson (Mike Tyson's Punch-Out NES) - If he connected in the first 2 minutes of round one, you didn't get up.

4 - Emerald Weapon (FFVII) - This underwater weapon would have a timer and once it was up, if he wasn't dead, your team certainly was.

5 - Chainsaw Zombie (RE4) - Yeah, this one wasn't pretty at all.
