New TV Ratings

The gap between Corrie and everything else widened this week, it was the only show to get more than 9 million viewers and it got more than 9 million viewers with 4 out of 5 of it's episodes! Corrie's average for the week was 9.73 to EastEnders' 8.51 - ouch!

As the nights start to draw in, it's getting more difficult for the smaller channels to compete; 5.25 million viewers were needed in order to get onto this week's Top 20, the best BBC2, Channel 4 and Five could manage was 3.62 million (Extras), 3.16 million (You Are What You Eat) and 3.15 million (CSI: Miami) respectively.

The West Wing and a New Editorship...

I'm now the editor of a person, which is nice...Alistair Cooke to be precise, quite proud of that considering I wasn't really aiming to be a person editor but anyway...

I mentioned on a forum post that I'd post a floor plan of the West Wing (the real one) here - one of the many perculiar things I have stored on my hard drive - so here that is:

The West Wing (the real one)

Have fun everyone!

University - Part 2...

I'm going back to Uni tomorrow and start my second year in about two weeks.

Just spent the day packing and have decided on about 140 DVDs to take with me in my CD case...

I've trimmed down on TV show DVDs this year so I only  have:

  • Alias Series 2
  • Angel Series 1
  • Futurama Series 1
  • Frasier Series 1
  • Firefly
  • ER Series 1
  • CSI Part 2 of Series 2
  • Teachers Series 1 and 2
  • America
  • The West Wing Series 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7

I was so adicted to The West Wing last year that I meant not to take any DVDs of the series this year but there was loads of room left over in the case so I thought 'what the hell'...doubht my new housemates will see much of me now, I'll be the guy who locks himself in the room where they hear the theme for TWW regularly every 45 minutes...

Anyhow...I just wanted to say to anyone who's just starting Uni this year to enjoy it as best you can, just be yourself and be nice to everyone and you'll get along just fine - good luck and have fun !!!

America!!! New Editorship...

I'm now very happy to be the editor for the 1970s documentary series America. It's a really amazing and insightful documentary for anyone who's not seen it.

I'm hoping to add full recaps for each of the episodes which might take some time, otherwise the guide is pretty much complete.

Yay
