After over 20 day, My Xbox 360 will return from its journey tomarrow, July 16th.I am pissed UPS is lazy and doesn't delivery on Saturday...begers can't be chooser I guess.I got my Xbox 360 at launch and it got the ring of death from time to time, but got better until about a month ago it just crapped out. I kinda missed all the bringing it home content which I will be downloading all day tomarrow.
In other news I am working hard to get a new DS Lite. My white DS Lite was stolen at the gym 2 months ago, I filed a police report, but they will never find it. Sadly Pokemon Diamond was in the DS and I must replay it. No good sales have been going on, so I will just break down and buiy a new one this week.
Also I am learning HTML and CSS this week. I am self teaching it and I am so-far impressed with my results. I will post them when i am finished.I am also going to attempt to teach myself C++ and Visual Basic coding next.
I like to think I'm more mature than the system wars crowf, I like to think that I'm above being a fanboy, but the plain and simple truth is... I'm not.
See.. I have the money to buy a PS3, I could afford one easily, and I've even entertained the thought of buying one, but the prospect just sickens me. I now truthfully confess that I am indeed an X-Bot. I hate Sony as a company, I hate their products, I smile every time I read bad news about the PS3... and I have no good reason for feelign this way. I've hated the playstation since people told me it was better than my 64, I hated the playstation 2 when people told me it was better than my dreamcast. And now I just hate the PS3, I hate it, I really do, and I have no good reason to hate it.
I've been playing quite a bit of Metal Gear portable ops, and I'm remembering back to how much fun I had with previous metal gear installments. Yes, I've owned every Sony console, hating them or not. The point is I know now that this X-Bot is going to have to buy a PS3 for metal gear and metal gear alone. So next month sometime when I waltz into an EB and lay down 700 dollars... (because lord knows even though I'll never use it I'll have to buy an extra controller and some sort of specialized bag), that 700 dollars will be soley to play Metal Gear. And for whatever reason I'm fine with that. *sigh*
I saw Snakes on a Plane yesterday. I REALLY expected it to suck but it was actually pretty damn sweet. There was however one controversial line in the movie that ALMOST ruined the experience for me: "Thank God for the Playstation." Yes, I'm serious. How much didja have to pay Sam Jackson to spit out that line Sony? Huh? I hate you. -_-
I pretty much hate everything right now. I haven't seen my girlfriend, the only person who holds me together, for a week.The poor girl has so much homework she can't even talk to me. I'm worried about her and I'm worried about what I'm gonna do in her absence.
