Tomorrow I will be a Cylon no more...

I'm at Level 37 (99.11%) so I pretty sure that just by posting this blog I will be at Level 38 tomorrow. Farewell, Cylon level. And while I'm here - "Frak!"

By the way, I'd like to mention to people who contribute to my guides that scripts downloaded off the net often have loads of errors in them like mispelled names and misquoted text/script lines. I would recommend turning on your closed captioning while watching an episode not copying-and-pasting from some random-person-transcribed script you found on the net for free.

Do most people get both The CW and My Network TV without a cable box? People keep coming down on their ratings but it has been my experience that most people get only one of these stations in their area. I also noticed that during the UPN/WB consolidation the CW picked mostly former WB stations but didn't pay attention to whether the stations could be received without a cable box. In my area you couldn't get The WB without a cable box and you couldn't get UPN with one (you had to unplug to box to watch something on UPN). I'm just thinking that The CW and My Network TV should be labeled cable stations since it seems that most people only have access to both with a cable box. If they viewed them that way then the ratings would be high/average for a cable station not constantly last place among basic networks.

To people contributing to the guides I edit...

Please include sources when submitting episode names, episode air dates, production codes, trivia, notes, and allusions.

I'm going hardcore on this rule. If you submit something to my guide and it doesn't come with a source so I can verify the information that you are trying to edit/add then I will reject it.

This rule does not apply to quotes for obvious reasons. When it comes to quotes the most crucial elements I look for are format and to make sure that characters' names are spelled correctly. Of course making sure that you are submitting a quote to the episode it actually appeared in doesn't hurt.

For more details take a look here.

Happy submitting,

Yakira

Hey, Look! I Found the Time To Write A Blog...

...about absolutely nothing.

Loving Dollhouse. Happy Burn Notice is back. I like it so much more than Mad Men.

My birthday is coming up.

Wanna see if I can set up a little competition among a few TV.com members to see who can pick the most pilots that will survive in the coming TV season. Maybe do it as a monthly thing. Seems they will be introducing new series all year long.

See you around.
