I didn't get anything spectacular for Christmas. I couple of DVDs and some gift cards. Just the usual. It seems to be a bit of a let down after. New Years coming up this weekend though!

I was away, but now I'm back. I'm online and ready to go.
I changed the scary River in the profile to a better shot of Summer! I also put her in the banner for a while!
AND, new icon! Since other people are using Mal Reynolds I'm going with Capt. Brass from CSI!!!
Of course the funny part? I haven't had a single pending approven since I've been gone! Pretty efficient, eh?

Disappearing subs
I have some submissions I submitted to a show that one of my friends edits, thinking they'll get approved. Still pending. He's never seen them in his queue.
You're thinking, "wait, you told this story last week". Well those finally went through and I did a few more to see if the system was working yet! No joy!

We're supposed to get update today. Points and stuff. I'm not suspecting a lot of help myself, because I held off on a lot of submits when the first things I did disappeared.

She's ALIVE!!!!
That's right folks, I verified with my own two eyeballs that Dolly is alive!
Went to Pittsburgh yesterday saw Dolly in the hospital. Talked to Happy (who doesn't appear to be a ball in real life). We talked about maybe getting her a laptop so when she is not in so much traction she could maybe get on line. We'll see.
She has looked better, I'll tell you that much!
Also saw "The Movie" which was nice.

Lost is a good show
I got the season 1 dvds. Lost is pretty good. Much better than all of the shows that are trying to immitate the concept.
Surface - not so much
I wasn't crazy about that "Surface" last night. They didn't seem to do anything to get me excited about the series, and the characters lack of interaction gives nothing to go by. Maybe they should have done a full 2 hours or something.
Emmying Up
Congratulations to Mr. Tony Shaloob for being the only person from one of the shows on my Favorites list to win an Emmy tonight.
Also, S. Epatha Merkerson from Law & Order got one, but for another show (best actress in a mini-series), but she did thank Dick Wolf (creator of L&O)
And Mariska Hargitay was nominated (L&O-SVU) but didn't win. Also several nominations for CSI.
And with the usual teary presentation of the TV people who passed in the past year. They ended on Mr. Jerry Orbach, with a shot of his name plate on his desk "Det. Leonard Briscoe". I had involuntary water-eye by that point.

Okay so I don't know if there is a connection to pictures on the blog/profile page and the points, but some people seem to be getting points, and they change banner and profile pix. Here is a flag. Who knows what flag this is?
Random Approvals
Does anyone else notice that approvals have no logic whatsoever. They seem to be completely random. I post a few items for one show, and they aprove one or two of them. I have stuff that's been out there for months, nothing, others are approved within hours. I have submitted for people that are totally obscure, and had them approved right away, and info submitted on big stars with current shows ignored.

New Icon!!!!
Attention, attention. My icon is now Teal'c from Stargate. I just keep running into people with Lex Luthor, and it confuses me. I haven't seen too many Teal'cs though.
I wish they had Law & Order icons. I would like to be Lennie Briscoe, or Beck, the hyper lab tech...

Favorite Food, Cuisine type
Okay, NOW the question is what your favorite food is. Not counting such as donuts, or candy, but Italian food, Chinese, Japanese, restaurant type of place. If you had to take someone to a restaurant you liked (not one you like just because they have dark booths in the back

I like the Italian food. A nice pasta of any shape. I enjoy a nice firm lasagna (as opposed to the gooey lasagna, with a noodle on the top and bottom and stuff in the middle, as if it were a pie)

Any Hobbies?
Does anyone here have any hobbies? I mean things you like to do OTHER than watch excesive amounts of TV.
I also watch a lot of movies, though that seems to be related to watching a lot of TV. But I like Hong Kong movies. Jackie Chan is good.
I like photography. When the NHL was around I used to watch hockey... maybe I will again.

Not much to say here. I just haven't put a new blog entry in over a week, so I thought I should say something new.
Well, I can't really think of anything. It's hot though. I was driving today and had sweat dripping off of me. Someday I hope to get one of them cars with the fancy air conditioning.
