well since my nex nes hasn't arrived yet i've been pretty bored, and i don't play w/ famitracker much now because i'm uninspired, when charlie finishes up his chiptune maybe i'll feel a little more like tracking, but really chiptune isn't what i want to make, i just want that stoopid 2a03 sound.

anyways so my roomate had some people over and they were going to do bad things, which normally i like doing also, but these were stupid bad things that aren't cool so i left

when i got to joe's i saw this

and heard some yelling

"blow on it!"

"no don't blow on it you'll mess up your 72-pin, it'll just make it worse"

"slam it down, then wiggle it"

"what?"

"there it's going"

as you already know, my friends were trying to play mario. i was stoked because i have been waiting days for my new nes (my nes that i've had since i was a kid is in new jersey w/ my friend justin, but he's in New Orleans,,, CRUD) and i've been wanting to play for a long time now

so anyways, i've never liked contra, but super contra's two player is darnn fine. and also we played Jurassic park 2player, mario 1&3 2player, and a game called rad racer which despite it only having two songs, is a fairly good racer on the nes in a sea of cr*p
