Last 23th was Sonic the Hedgehog's Birthday, and he spent some time with us, among his partner Tails. This happened in Phantas Star Universe, where everything was decorated with Sonic and friends statues. Here are some pictures.

Last weekend I went to a pool to see my friend's band. It was their first live presentation, and they do it... regular... But it was fun, because I could play pool with my friends, drink some beers, and hear good music!

Well my friends, here is the first report from the EGS in Mexico City!

Electronic Arts was the best company in the show, with many good games like Army of Two, Half Life 2, Madden NFL 08, Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix, Hellgate: London, Crysis, Boogie, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, The Simpsons Game, and many more, but the winner of the show was... Rock Band! Everybody had the oportunity to play this game, and all of them were amazed! I was one of the first with my brother to play it, after the media took the video and the photos. I played the guitar, and my brother the drums... we played a song that I can't remember, and the experience was awesome... we had 2 split-screen to play, the guitars in one screen, and the drums and the vocal on the other screen, and we were proyected in a giant screen... The people of EA was very nice with all of us, and I took this pictures from there... hope you like it!

Yesterday I had the chance to go to the Electronic Game Show in Mexico City, and I played a lof ot demos there. Companies like Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, EA, share a lot of their latest and next games with mexican people. I'll be uploading the photos and videos as humanly as I can. Thanks for watching!

October it's here, and that means, that it's the best time to the Mexican's gamers to be here, because the Electronic Game Show it's only one week ahead, and we are getting ready... I hope we can play Super Smash Bros Brawl, Rock Band, and many more new titles... here it's my passport for this year!!

So, finally I have played all the new three consoles in my home: Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3. Which one I prefer? I want all of them, but for now, I don't want more new consoles. For now.

The Wii is pretty interesting, and looks like have a lot of potential. Very fun to play with friends, and very different than any other system. I love the Virtual Console feature, and I can't wait for the release of some of the greatest videogames ever there (Square RPG's, Konami Classics, Capcom Classic, etc.). Zelda it's the best game right now, and I think Wario Smooth Moves will be very fun to play with all my friends.

The Xbox360 looks like a very nice and powerful console, with the most impressive online support of the three. Gears of Wars has the best graphics I have seen in a videogame since I play videogames (20 years or so); this game has set the standard for many years to come in the graphics department.

The PS3 look so pretty and big...and it's heavy... and soo big... Did I said that it's big and heavy? Ok, enough. I played Resistance: Fall of Man, and Madden 07. I have fun with it for some minutes.. then I congratulate myself for not spending 600+ bucks in that system. The games don't look so impressive, in fact, there's nothing out there that Xbox360 can't do, and maybe even the Wii. But it's too early to make a final comment on the new Sony's console. But for now, the PS3 it's good to play Blue-Ray discs, navigate on internet and... well... I hope that this will change by November, when it's supposed that we can see Metal Gear Solid 4 and the new Grand Theft Auto... although something tells me that these games won't see the light of day until 2008...

So, right now, I'm happy with my PS2. The good old boy is like Freedy Krueger: resists to die. I'm playing some new and old games like Dragon Quest VIII, Final Fantasy XII, Okami, Onimusha 2... and I can't wait to put my hands on Rogue Galaxy, and maybe the final and best way to say goodbye to my PS2: God of War II. I don't have a HDTV, so I'm not worried about playing all the new games in HD. And, finally, all I want to have is fun.

So here we are, with our hopes for a best year, and I just finished of decoring the Christmas Tree. I hope you like it.
