Finding "new" old stuff
These last days I've been playing some old compilations I haven't played in long time and realized of a couple of things:
1.- I have Dido - "Thank You" on CD. Strange, in the same compilation I found Five's version of "Uptown Girl" and Timo Maas - "Ubik". I know, makes no sense.
2.- I remember the words of an Italian song. 883 - "LA Regola Dell'Amico" is the name of the song, probably haven't listened it in about two years and I still remember the chorus.
Scary.

Dido - Life For Rent
This is the first time in a long time I play this album again. It's one of my guilty pleasures, but oh boy, what a pleasure it is for me.
Sadly (or happily) because of recent events in my life I have found new meanings in some songs of Life for Rent that I didn't notice before. Some words now mean more than they ever did before.
While this adds to the pleasure of listening this album because now I can relate more to some songs that's also a problem, because now it makes me feel kind of sad.
I'll try listening more albums I haven't played in a while to see if I find new things in them too

Underworld - Dark & Long (Dark Train mix)
I can't take this song out of my head, liked it a lot already, but after watching Trainspotting some few times and listening "Dark & Long (Dark Train mix)" in one of the key scenes I'm in love with it.
I need to get both Trainspotting Soundtrack CD's, now.
Gosh, so many albums I want, so little money.

DJ Mag no1 DJ: Paul Van Dyk
Just got the "memo".
Finally, Tiësto is no longer no1 and my favorite DJ is on top.
Life can't be sweeter.

Timo Maas - "First Day"
Timo Maas + Brian Molko.
Why I didn't hear this before?
I'm buying the new Timo Maas album as soon as possible.

Recent Reviews
This is where get serious.
Music for the Jilted generation unleashes heavy doses of energy on every song, even the laidback "3 kilos" sounds menacing and powerful.
Liam Howlett creatively plays with the music, blending break beats, electric guitars and vocal samples to create an album that sounds fresh even so many years after its release, shaping how the music after this one should sound.
The Prodigy definitely made music that defined a generation.
