I was looking foward to..

..playing Prototype a second time, with a New Game+, keeping all my upgrades and whatnot. But then came a bossfight, a bossfight which I never want to play again. It might be the worst bossfight of all time, not because of difficulty, but because of it's repetetiveness. I have no problems with a boss fight being hard. I don't have a problem with having to do the same things three times over, in classic boss fighting theme. I have no problems with bosses upgrading their moves and getting slightly tougher as you get closer to the end of the fight, like a classic Zelda boss, having tough abilities, but a good use of them, and not a constant spam of an ability that's bound to hit you.

Prototype didn't follow that scheme, at all. Making a boss that sends unlimited barrages of stones and energy balls at you, which makes it a hassle to even get to the boss, and as soon as you're there, it makes some kind of massive Area of Effect damage, which once again forces you to hide out and regenerate almost FULL health, because that attack WILL kill you if you're too low. The boss fight took me almost 40 minutes just because of this fact, and because of the military assisting me KILLED the infected I wanted to consume. I don't give a damn if a boss fight is challenging, but when the game mechanics DESTROY my chances of beating the boss, and forces me to hide out for FIVE minutes before I can go fight for another ten seconds, to then retreat and hide for another FIVE, that pisses me off.

Other then that, Prototype has been a pretty good game. It's fun fighting as a badass biological weapon.

You Should Totally Try Out This Game!

I am of course talking about eRepublik, a free internet game set in the "New world", a world -almost- ruled only by the players meaning : The players start their own companies, players work for those companies. The players create the political parties to rule their country and the players vote for the party they feel should rule, and that party rules with supreme power!

It's like the real world, but in a game. And oh yeah, there's fighting in it too. It gives you wellness, ranks and a lot of experience!

If you feel like trying it out, then click here!

And of course, I can help you with almost anything, as I've spent some months playing the game.

Gothenburg

It really is an unkind city if you're driving a car. And it smells like fish, too. But here I am, because I got invited along to the U2 concert here, and I mean, free hotel and a free concert, I never say no to that.

But what can you do alone in a hotel room? I know what you're thinking. But I think I'll write a review, since I've played a lot of "new" games recently, and they could use some reviewing.

What to do, what to do..

Save the World!

So, some time ago I sat and watched my brother play a Sam and Max game split up in episodes. It looked really cool, but I never got my hands on playing it.

I never realized they are gonna release the same game for the x360 marketplace. Dude, now I have another thing to spend money on. I so need a job.
