Greetings and happy new years everyone. Well this blog post is all about what I got this holiday season, and this holiday season was prolly the best year ever. For the 360 I got Call of duty 4, Mass Effect, and The orange box. All three of these games are freakin amazing, I really love CoD4's online multiplayer, Mass Effect is a really awesome sci fi RPG with astory and universe I totally find myself getting stuck in, and The Orange box pretty much speaks for itself with Half life 2 and the 2 eps, portal, and TF2, Portal is really fun and unique and TF2 is actually surprisingly better then what I thought it would be on the 360 based onwhat people were saying about lag and what not.

And I also had around $450 saved up and during the holiday season I managed toget enough money to shoot my total up to $600 and I went out and got the 40 gig PS3 with Oblivion GOTY, UT3, and Warhawk, All three of these games are pretty amazing too, especially Oblivion GOTY, I really love the visuals, gameplay and role playing elements in it. UT3 is awesome, its the same good ol UT you remember from the past with a graphical improvement with some gameplay and weapon tweaks, plus the maps are really good, there arent really many maps I dont like and Online is very fun and there are a pretty good number of players playing with low lag. And Warhawk is a pretty good online shooter, and the bluetooth headset is pretty nice, but it would be nice if epic would fix the whole headset problem with UT3.

And finally, I got the ultimate non video game gifts of all time, Dragonball z seasons 1,2, and 3 remastered on DVD, I absolutly love DBZ and I highly recommend you go and buy these if you are a fun of DBZ, they are only $30 a season and season 4 comes out in feb.

That is what I got for the holidays and Ive been playing the games non stop since ive gotten them, I hope you all had a good holiday season and I hope you all have a great year.

Hello anyone who actually reads this, which is not many. I am writing today to say that I am getting Assassin's Creed this Friday and I absolutly cannot wait for it. I dont care that the game is getting some shaky reviews, I have been with gamespot since 2003 and I have my full faith in them and they have always been right on when dealing with my opinion of games.

Anyways, Assassins Creed just looks absolutly kickass and I cant wait to play it, If anyone who hasent played it by the end of this week wants to know how it is, just PM me and I will tell you all about it with out spoilers if you'd like.

Last night, I, Like many others, was sitting at my PC a little before 8 EST in hopes of getting an early invite to the CoD 4 beta, and at 8, as I predicted, the charlie oscar delta site crash, but luckily I had already been in some forums and this dude got through and post the info we need to answer and send to an email to hopefully get into the early very limited first wave. I got my email sent out at about 20 mins after 8 EST, and I stayed up chatting in the forums until about 11:30 and I went to bed. I woke up this morning and checked my email, and there it was, a message with the subject of Cod4Beta. I got Accepted!!!!!!!!!!!! I got a long email that Im not gonna post and it had the key, and right now as I type this the game is up and running on my 360, Ive already enjoyed a couple matches but that is all im gonna say, because right now im not suppose to give out any info to the public because the official public beta has not yet began, sign up for that will begin at the end of the week or something, I just got very luck and got picked to be part of the very limited first wave. Infact its so limited there is less then 1000 people on the games overall stats board.

Well, Good luck getting in if you tried last night, remember, you could get an email sometime today or even at the end of the week, and if not, the official public beta sign up begins sometime later this week, and that will be more easy to get in and it will all be done through the site Charlieoscardelta.com instead of having to email **** to them. Well, im gonna play some more CoD 4, Its really sweet, it will blow you away, thats all the more I can say.

LOL, My question about Hour of Victory madeit on the show, it was very funny, at least I thought it was, Jeff made it sound even funnier then what I originally intended it to be. Plus he also read my Duke Nukem Forever one.

Incase you are wondering, in the hour of victory question he reads my name as KC because thats what I put down in my emails, which its just my first and last initial, and in the Duke Nukem Fornever one he saysKyle because I guess he prolly saw my name in the Email browser part which would refer to me as Kyle because thats my name. So I got 2 questions on one show.

I am very excited about this new game from Id, Its called Rage, incase you didnt know. Its being powered by the latest game engine from John Carmack, the Tech 5 Engine. Rage is a combat car game mixed with about 50% of the run and gun action usually seen in Id games, at least thats what John Carmack has said. If you havent been to the QuakeCon page or seen the movies of the new engine in action then I highly recommend you go and check it out here. In the Tech 5 Engine show case movies, John shows off just how easy and fast developers can add lots of details to their worlds, and the level they were showing off, which was a desert canyon, Looked absolutely amazing. It was obviously, out doors, and then during the demo he also showed off the engines interior power, he switched to a first person mode and started walking inside to an area in the middle of the level which had a guy, wholooked like a merchant, inside and the interior looked great which I expect because that is usually Id's strong point, but the guys face also looked very impressive, the animation was very nice.

At QuakeCon John also announced that they are bringing Quake 3 Arena to XBL Arcade in the form of Quake Arena Arcade, This announcement excited me alot because Quake 3 arena is one of the best online multiplayer games of all time. John also hinted at possibly bringing Quake 3 to the DS which would be awesome, but that is just something John would like to do, not going to do, so as of right now its pretty much up in the air and I think they should because seriously, anytime they can take a game like Doom, Doom 2, Quake 1-3 and bring them back out to a hot console for $10, or $30 if its on the DS, they make lots of money for something that does not take that much time or money to do, and they start to profit right away from something they made about a decade ago and have already made lots of money off of.

Here's to Id in having great success with Rage, Quake Arena Arcade, and hopefully a DS port of Quake 3.

This topic is about all the grumblings about the so called racist content in Resident Evil 5, I just want to let you know up front that I am not racist and I see the ficiton and story in this game and I got African American friends and family members.

I think it looks very cool, its just fiction and its a story, it kinda looks like black hawk down but set in RE and made up. I have Black friends and black family members through cousins and interracial relationships and they all think the trailer looks awesome because they understand its just a game. If you read that GS news report it had some women talking about how they were zombies and they looked like zombies before they even became zombies, well the last time I checked they are being controlled by Parasites if its like RE4, so they arent even zombies, and if you look at pictures of Africa and see African people there, they look like that because most of them live in poor conditions. And also in that story there is people saying that the protagonist being white is whats wrong with the game, and I dont get that because you mean to tell me that if chris was black everything would be ok? Ok try to imagine this, its gonna be hard, but say you were Chris Redfield and you were sent on a job to an African Village and a bunch of parasite controlled African people started running at you, wouldnt you shoot at them and run away and do everything to survive just like in the trailer? Your answer should be yes, because that would be what would happen, you wouldnt stop and say "Im white, if I shoot them that would be racist", so that is how fiction works people, takes a made up event and makes it into a story, and the stuff in RE5 is stuff that could never happen in real life unless you happen to be on a trip in Africa for whatever reason and you were trying to restore some villages and all the sudden all the people in the town starting chasing you down because you got food.

And dude it had a white women in a damn tank of water at the end of the trailer, no one seems to bring that up. These people dont know what they are talking about obviously when they call them zombies, they are parasite controlled humans,and they dont understand fiction in a game no matter how many times you tell them that fiction in a game is the same as fiction in a book or movie. Plus like all the other RE games, the game will take place in a made up or unnamed place in Africa. And the only reason why this is a problem is because of the US's history and the fact that schools still beat us kids upside the head with this damn info about the racist past and civil rights moves from the early 1900's, I was in 10th grade last year and we learned about racism in Americas past and the civil rights movements for over 3 months. None of this stuff even matters anymore, thats in the past but people dont get over it, and many older reporters and stuff white or black feel that its their duty to bring up racial intension's when there is indeed no racial intension's except the ones in their heads.

This is just my ramble about RE5 and what I think. Im not taking the time to reread this or spell check.

When I saw the MGS4 gameplay pictures that gamespot put up this week, I was a very happy man, and now I cant wait to buy a PS3 because of that one game. The graphics look pretty good and I imagine they will only get better from here since the game ain't coming out till next year. But the part that surprised me the most was when they showed snake disguising himself with the statue and putting his hand on the statue's balls to blend in, funny stuff like this is what makes the MGS series so great.

The online portion that was also announced sounds pretty cool too. Its basically a hide and seek game with up to 16 players online. This sounds pretty cool and is a logical set up for MGS on the PS3 because team deathmatch and deathmatch just dont really work with the control set up in the MGS series.

I dont know about you but I sure as hell plan on picking up a PS3 sometime in Feb-April '08 depending on when I got the money, and if Unreal Tournament 3 has cross-platform play with the PC, then that will be the first game I get for my PS3.

This game is freakin sweet!!!!! It is totally what I expected to be and its what I wanted it to be. The game has 8 player online co-op and that is fantastic because now when me and my friends want to get together to play bomberman we can just do it over live. Plus playing bomberman online is funny because everyone laughs when they getta frag and crys or complains when they get fragged which I find hilarious.

This game scored a 7.5 by gamespot, but alot of other placed rated it in the 8's, and I personally think it deserves a score in the mid to high 8's but the fact that they did not put a traditional single player mode, where you go through like 8 different levels and each level has 8 stages with the 8th stage being a boss, is the reason why it scored lower then what it should have, and actually if you dont have xbl gold, it is pretty fun to play against CPU's by yourself. So if you are interested in Bomberman in any way go buy it, its only 800 points, and if you are not then just go try the demo.

I just want to let people know that Epic is not ditching 360 users and that they had to hold back the game because they are trying to work something out with Microsoft to allow 360 users to upload PC mods and content to the 360 just like the PS3 version or at least be able to upload user created maps made with the map editor like the one thePS3 is getting. The reason why this is hard is because the 360 is a closed platform unlike the PC and the PS3, and the PS3 version is also coming with its own map editor, so hopefully the 360 version will come with a map editor of its own and allow people to upload and download different maps and play them over live. If I remember correctly FarCry on the original Xbox had this, so it isnt unheard of or impossible.

So for all you who are mad at Sony and Epic or both, stop being mad because right now Epic is gonna try all they can to make Microsoft loosen up their closed service, and I for one hope Epic succeeds.

I saw the live demo of CoD4 and I was blown away, When the other guy laying down got up it startled me, I did not see him at all and I was looking right where he was laying down. I also saw the live demo today on Gamespots live E3 coverage and it looked really good to, it was in a small urban city area at night, and all the lighting effects from the lights, fire, bullet flashes, explosens, and night vision looked absolutly amazing. The sound from this game also sounds really great and im glad thatInfinity Wardis really going out of their way to add as much fun, action and inivation into the CoD franchise as possible.

And another thing im very excited about is CoD 4's multiplayer. The stuff Infinity Ward is putting into the multiplayer looks absolutely awesome. Like all the Perks they have with stuff like where you get to shoot laying on the ground before you bleed out or are shot again, and the one where you drop a grenade at your feet when you die in case someone trys to T Bag you or they just dont run away or something. That is really cool stuff and I think this game will be better then Halo 3 but im also pretty excited for halo 3 but bungie isnt showing off their game like Infinity Ward is.

Finally the last thing Im very very very excited about is the Newly announced Xbox 360 only public beta for CoD 4. This is very awesome and I cant wait for them to release more details on this. The Beta is suppose to be in august sometime so im guessing the sign up for it will be sometime within the next 1-2 weeks and I got a feeling if you really want to be in the beta bad and you are on your feet you should be able to easily get in without a problem, but we will have to wait and see. Today I played the demo for NCAA Football 08 and I got to say, this is the best college football game they have made since 2004, I am totally into it and I plan on getting it on July 17th. The 360 version is the one I played and it, unlike the PS3 version, runs at 60 frames a second and it looks very slick and its very smooth. This is truly the first "Next-Gen" football game EA has made so far, and I expect madden 08 to be just as good because itis suppose to run at 60 frames and do everything the college version is doing and a little more and the PS3 version also will only run at 30 frames and this is something that hurt the 360 version of 07 because it was so damn choppy and not that fun to play, but NCAA 08 is absolutely magnificent, so if you haven't got a college football game or any football game for a while, then NCAA 08 is definitely a must buy this year. Again it comes out on July 17th.

Man... I cant wait for bomberman live, this game looks very cool, definitely better than bomberman act zero. I hope it is on the XBL market place within the next couple weeks. Ive owned bomberman, on the nintendo, bomberman, bomberman '93, '94 on the TG-16, super bomberman 1, 2, 3, 4(jap), 5(jap) on the super nintendo, mega bomberman on genesis, saturn bomberman, saturn bomberman fight!on the saturn, bomberman party edition on the playstation,bomberman generation for the gamecube, bomberman, bomberman tournament, bombermanMAX 2blueon the GBA, bomberman MAX blue on the GBC,bomberman on the PSP, bomberman 64, bomberman heroon the 64,and ive played the arcade version many timesand no,I dont have bomberman act zero nor haveI played nor doI have the desire to play it.

And right now im also excited for bomberman land portable for PSP and bomberman story DS for the DS which right now both are already out in japan so i hope they bring them out over here in Q4 but if they dont I will have to go buy them from over seas.

If you are reading this and you have never played a bomberman game before, I urg you to go out to your local retail store and buy it for a gaming system that you currently own or if anything get super bomber 1, 2, or 3 for the SNES if you still got one, and if you dont have one then buy one cause they are like $20 on ebay. But the best bomberman games are totally bomberman, bomberman '93, and bomberman '94 for the TG-16. If I remember correctly bomberman '94, mega bomberman and maybe super bomberman 3 are all the same, I cant remember tho, I know for sure '94 and mega are the same tho. But ya, it just takes a couple minutes to get a hang of it and get attached to it, and then if you got some friends get them to play it to because it is alot of fun to play against other people. Thatswhy im so excited for Bomberman live because I will be able to play many people over XBL and not just my friends or family. Piece out to all you bomberman fans out there.

I played shadow run and it is..... horrible, itfeels and lookslike a 5 year old game and it is just boring. At this point in time you are better off getting Unreal tournament 2004 for pc, its much better and cheaper, and then getting unreal tournament 3 when it comes out. shadow run might have been ok if it was $30 but it still sucks as a game especially when is $60, I didnt lay down $60, I went to my local blockbuster and rented it, 5 out of 5 copies were availiable and when i took itback the other 4 were still there. Pretty much just play the demo because that tells you just how bad the game is and thats all you need, playing the full version does not fix it, IT IS JUST A BAD GAME!!!!! Just like i thought it would be.
