This man is amazing, seriously disturbed but a stark genious of modern progressive music. His mixing of emo, punk legend, and the mild country undertones show deep seeded influences from artists such as Bob Dylan, The Smiths, T. Rex, The Rolling Stones and Paul Westerberg just to name a few. His albums will make you laugh, cry, cherish and hate life. He is above all an amazing song writer and I strongly reccomend any of his albums. Gold is a good one to start off with!

Saves the Day are an interesting emo/rock band with bold youth driven sounds vibrating from every album. My personal favorites are through being cool and stay what you are. If you like emo lyrics without the annoying emo sound this band is for you. Through being cool and Can't Slow Down are harder sounding than Stay What You Are and In Reverie. But all are amazing. I sugguest picking up either of the latter to start your adventure into the mind of Saves the Day.
