So far I've gotten some pretty cool gifts, which isn't always easy as an adult.  When you're a kid, it's easy.  As an adult, sometimes I find myself asking, "What do I really need?"

But fortunately I have great friends who know me well.  Since I just put my new kitchen in, people know what I need to help complete it.  My buddy Mike got me a Magic Bullet which looks really cool.  My friends Dan and Ann Marie got me a new PSP game and a  toaster oven which rules.  My friend Susan is also sending me a great set of knives..can't wait!

My buddy and I finally beat Gears of War on Insane level. Holy crap, Raam was hard!! Definitely double up on the sniper rifels if you're playing two player. That and the theron bow should do it. But good grief, it was difficult.

I just watched Return of the King after not seeing it for awhile.  Now I'm not sure, but how did it go for the Orcs when the Riders of Rohan showed up?  Did they make it?  Or did they get stomped into tiny orco puddles?

Also, could Legolas possibly kick anymore arse?

I wish everyone would just give me gift cards for Christmas...and other holidays for that matter.  Personally, I'm NEVER offended by receiving gift cards or cash.  This etiquette thing with not giving money because it's not as thoughtful is such crap.  How about when people give you stuff you never use?  How about when it's the type of gift you're forced to show off somehow otherwise people will know you didn't like it?  That's weak.

Well over the past couple of months, I've been working on getting my kitchen redone.  I'm happy to say the granite countertops are being installed as I write this.  All there is left is hook up the plumbing and I'll be set. 

Got all new stainless appliances, natural maple cabinets, and black granite countertops.  Changed out the flourescent lighting and replaced it with recessed (can) lights. 

Should look good when it's all in.
