Basically doesn't SEEM to have either the vocal range or control to sing his own lyrics really well, The writing and instrumental performance are there as is the arraingement, but frankly he's no Geoff Tate when it comes to singing his own song.
(Comparing anyone to Geoff Tate may be unfair, but who said life is supposed to be fair?) But then again mabey just a good producer to crack the whip over him when he's laying down the vocal tracks...
There MAY be some singing ability that can be wrung from his throat with the right direction/production.
Failing that, hiring a talented vocalist to match his song writing ability.... (when all else fails hire another professional)
But what do I know, I'm just a listener with a computer keyboard and an opinion...

Hey I consider myself "musically jaded" because I'm 45 and it takes a lot to get my attention, but I just can't stop listening to the three tracks from this band, if there is more original material behind this small sample then these guys have a bright future. Why am I not suprised, the same part of Pensylvania has previously
produced Fuel and Live, so another great band from the area shouldn't be remotely suprising...
Only once in a great while do you hear something "cold"
(just randomly listening to tracks) when you hear something new
and you say to yourself "This is gonna be HUGE!"
This song hit me like the first time I heard Guns & Roses "Welcome to the Jungle", Fuel's "Last Time".
I don't know if I'm right, but I do know I want to hear more material from this band...

It's hard to sound more Evil than Manson, but this vocalist does.
And the music would be a perfect backdrop for any dungeon computer game...

The vocalist is going to hold them back from their planned world domination Good musicians in search of a vocalist.
a thin and almost whiney voice that just doesn't blend well with the assertive guitar work
