Going Through
I'm sorry for being hidden in the last couple of weeks, it's simply that I'm going through not-so-good time. All is fine about my health and such, but the general feeling, plus tons of work, and limited hours on the computer, reduced me only to being able to read your comments and stalk from here to there. Most of the time TV.com didn't even let me comment.
Things are somewhat "getting better", but I still won't be here much.
Monster, Jo, BB, Helen, I'm happy you are all caring for me. Here I am. Don't be worried ![]()
What About Love? [Music Special Blog]
This time only YouTube videos, for the sake of music, and for the enjoyment of me, of Monster and of all of us 1. Take That | Shine
Straight from the deepest of the 90s, Take That returned this year with a new album, a fresh songs and an old sty'le. This sty'le, though, still works perfectly on our ears. This clip also has a nice aspect of the song. So come on, don't be late, oh, and don't forget to see the light on your face, let it shine! SHINE!

2. Rent | Seasons of Love
I haven't seen the movie (though I wanted to), but this song, the official soundtrack of Rent, just caught my ear and never let go. This clip is featured from the movie and is so sweet. 525,600 minutes, how do you measure, a year in the life? How about LOVE? How about LOOOOVE?

3. Ifty | The Night Will Pass
Ifty does both rapping and singing, and in this debut single he has done a wonderful job. At first I didn't like this song, but after second hearing it just came to my heart... So why crying, we can always try, wipe away the tears, I'm here...

Here ends the 2nd Music Special Blog of Afenla, See Y'all Later!

It Snowed, It Snowed, It Snowed!

Gush Etzion, a mountain near Jerusalen
It all started on Tuesday morning. Though the forecast said it's gonna start only in the night, weather wanted otherwise. It was raining for most of the day, and I was lucky to take a small umbrella in my bag.
Wednesday was a totally different story. It wasn't raining here for most of the day, but the winds were tough. Evening brought rain, and with it, hail. The night between Wednesday and Thursday was crazy. I got up at least 4 times during the night, just from the noise the rain, the hail and the winds did. It was feaking CRAZY!
Then it started snowing in the north, the Hermon mountain, Ramat Hagolan and even souther.
Thursday morning brought the snow to Jerusalem, but a snow mixed with rain that couldn't get a hold on the ground...

Mixed snow and rain in Jerusalem
But where I live, a city closer to the center of the country, and pretty lower than the mountains, it was raining and hailing all day. When there were thunders mixed with it, it seemed like General Winter was pretty angry this time

Ramat Hagolan, Israel's northest and highest places
It kept like that on and off for the whole day and on Friday. Of course, most of the time it wasn't hiliang, but still, it was fun. Kids didn't go to scholl where it was snowed (in Jerusalem they did, though)
Saturday (today) brought the sign of the calming. Here wasn't raining at all, but it was still storming in some places.
Dam, I like this weather!
Summary: Snow where it is needed, hail and thunders storms, and a lot of rain Yay!

This image has nothing to do with snow, and/or rain, and/or hail, and/or TV.com, and/or any idealist idea of conquering the world. It's just here to sign the moving on for a different story.
On a different story, I reached level 37!

It seems like I've been 36 forever (and a day, to be exact).

I also have a new avatar, since yesterday I encountered this beautiful Anastacia pic, and I couldn't stand it
A Ha - Crying In The Rain
Not so exact, since I'm so happy when it's raining, but still suits perfect the rain and the thunders. Here's a lil piece of nostalgic hostory, with A-Ha and their black-n-white clip. Enjoy

A-Ha, they didn't invent anything, and/or something, and/or someone, and/or anyone, but they're good
It's not gonna rain for the rest of the week
Much Love and *hugs*,

Oh Creepy Cloud, Oh Scary Thunder

I'm not related to this pic in any way,
and/or any method, and/or any logical explanation
Seems like General Winter is back into business around here... It was hazy yesterday and on Sunday (I hate haze), and today it started raining (when they said it'll start raining only tonight). Anyhoo, they expect it to rain for then next 4 days, and it might even snow in Jerusalem tomorrow night!
I will keep you posted!

This arrow doesn't point left, and/or up, and/or down, and/or east, and/or to the direction of Bin Laden's hiding place. It only points right...
It's tough to get back to normal after Drea's sudden death on Friday... I still read related blogs here and there, and the site's blog still has her memorial, and it's hard to move on. I mean, you know time heals and all that stuff, but you're just afraid to move on there... It's not like it used to be from now on.
The And/Or theory is making a comeback in this blog and will be active for long now
Meatloaf & Marion Raven | It's All Coming Back To Me Now
Pretty sad song by this two excellent singers, but a fairly wonderful version. Meatloaf is a great clasic-rock singer and Marion has a great voice.
Suits the half-half moods in my blog...

Much Love and *hugs*,

I Still Remember
Or, in Drea's words, Slangzta.
Drea was the creator or the Gangzta language on here. She wasn't just the any woman you get to know. She was a family woman, full of love for her husband (hubby), her kids, and her friends. Even Ang can be considered half-family for her, after understanding the way they met.
I made her a banner. Not once, twice. She liked the way I designed stuff. It was Tight, as she used to say.
I loved to read her comments in my blogs. She used to refer to me as Gangzta Brutha, and I replied with Gangzta Sista. Every comment of Drea, especially in her peak months, was not just a comment, it was a complete celebration. She was the director of her own comments. And I was jealous of her writings...
I once had a column where I used to "forecast" how others will comment to the blog. That's what I wrote for Drea, of course, in her own true language:
hoffman9102: HOLA lil Gangzta! I hada slizza wonderz bout wat YA were up to, Mi AMIGO! Here Ima rollin', takin da COMMENT to a betta level o WIZdom, befo anyone coulda ask! Lay Chilly, coz itz all GOOOOOOD and tight!
If that doesn't sum up her personality, I can not realize what can. She was pure joy, happiness and warm-hearted.
I haven't been talking to her much recently, but I was indeed affected by this woman. Positively. And for all that, I wanna thank ya, Gangzta-Sista, and tho ya willn't be reedin' thiz blog, I wanna make it fo-sho clear that itz all dedicated to ya, aight? Coz ya hada dat lite, like no one else. Lay Chill,
In Memorial of Drea
Full of love, joy, happiness and kindness, always wanting to help and play, that's what she was.
But now, now that she's gone, the mind finds nothing to say. The mouth is left speechless, the thoughts are stuck on her and her family.
I'm not that good with GoodBye's, but I wanted to say this:
Drea, you will be missed a lot, you were my bestest Gangzta-Sista on here, and I still can not realize you're no longer with us.
RIP Drea, and Farewell to you, the dearest of all
Hopelessly Devoted To You
Jupiter
I'm having a long weekend this weekend, and you can all be jealous now!
I took two days off, today and on Sunday. That makes a 4-days-weekend para mi! Que lindo!
Today I slept till late, and in the evening I've been cleaning things in the bathroom: The shelf, which I was the major one to dirty, and the cupboard, which was so dirty, you could describe it as "brown" instead of "white". Also, the porcelain tiles were dirty and I cleaned them too. I was pretty busy for several hours

Winter is showing no more signs around here. Though it's usual in the last couple of years, it's pretty disappointing. Only the beginning of March, and no rain almost at all! Shame
I want to welcome Valerie to my blogs, thank her for adding me to her friends, and wish her a Happy Birthday
Mika | Grace Kelly
You all know my affection to Queen's song Don't Stop Me Now. Mika has a lot of the voice and charm of Freddie Mercury, and no less talent. I like this clip for Grace Kelly, do you?

Knock Knock, it's Mika!
I have several more YouTube bombs to throw, I hope I'm gonna blog again tomorrow (no excuses left) Haha

Purim's Eve 2007

Call them primitive, call them immature, call them crazy. The kids in Israel are waiting for Purim for a lone thing, and only for it: The detonators. You know, those small "bombs" which are used during games of the national games of the UK soccer team? Accompanied with smoke, large "booms" or a total imitation of a rocket, those detonators can turn everyone's peaceful evening into a disaster. And in Purim's eve, it's the worst. Ever since night fell, around 18:30pm, those bombing noices never stop. Now, explain to me, please, what's so, say, amusing, in explosives? Why do they enjoy them so much? Why do they have to make us feel as if we're in the middle of war? Now, after this rant of mine, let's go back to the real stuff.
What do I like about Purim?...
...
Hmmmm, where do I start? The Chocolates, for example!
One of the traditions of Purim, is exchanging packs of chocolates, snacks and other yummy foods between one another. There are all those great stuff inside, most of them are made of chocolate, candies or any other sweet food. This or that, they are very tasteful and, er, chocoladish!

And of course, this Purim will be full of great Israeli music!!!!!!!11
What's the Connection - Give Him a Chance
Ma Kashur (What's the Connection, free translation), are an Israeli stand-up trio. They are currently running a great sitcom on TV, but 2 years ago they tried doing some music. They had one giant hit, Titnu Lo Chance (Give Him a Chance, free translation), a song which is funny and crazy. This clip also features another famous Israeli figures, but they mean nothing abroad. All over the song he sings about singers he's obviously... not
But I sing, from the heart,
From the heart,
But I sing, from the heart,
From the hearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt...
(Those of you, Eurovision viewers, may remember the last prisoner singing with the broom as the Israeli representative from two years ago)...

See y'all tomrrow on the next Purim blog of Afenla - The daily Blogger

Dreams of 42
(spelling error intended due to bug) songs of life (even Jo knew most of them. 3 out of 4!), it's time to move on. That moshy blog (credit to Julie) will be well remembered and be reminded during time. But for now, let's go back to usual...So Purim was this week...
Purim, you know, the Israeli holiday when people get their customes on, find a funny/freaky/crazy/scary mask and go on to parties! (Equals to the American Haloween, but way older).
Of course, when it comes to Israeli holiday, it has a tradition behind - old times, the Jews were doomed, the king accpeted his Jweish wife's request, the bad guy, Haman, gets to be killed eventually, and Shushan the capital was happy and joyful. For the long version go to Wikipedia, pliz, pretty plizzz
So yes, we had a Purim celebration at work on Wednesday, and it was fun, and yesterday I was home, taking a break. But of course, all day I got phones about this and that. You can't have a real recess these days...

This is my Happy Purim banner from last year, since this year I'm too lazy:

You can wish a Happy Purim, since the real holiday starts only tomorrow evening... Saturday-Sunday-Monday is Purim for us... Though kids went custumed for school today, for the celebrations.
Since I believe that most of you girls' eyes are still stuck on Daniel Jackson from the previous paragraph, and you probably read my words but nothing gets to your brains, I will change on to the most suitable data for now... YouTube videos!
Kelis - Lil Star
Kelis is famous for several years now, but I've never heard such an emotional song from her... She really reminds the greatest Divas of Soul in this sweet piece of music... What a freaky coat, btw...

DJ Bobo & No Angels - Where is Your Love?
Bobo Rulezzzz!!!!111
I don't know why, but I like everything that DJ Bobo touches or takes part in. He has such a devoted messages in his songs, just cut around and save for weary days...

I am a Human [Classic Blog Ahead of You]
Or am not I?Today I decided to share some lovely, most romantic, and tearful songs with you all, just for the sake of memories...
Foreigner | I Want To Know What Love Is
From a far away, actually foreign, country, comes Foreigner, with their song in which they wanna know what love is. Moreover, they want you to show them. They also wanna feel what love is, and yes, you must show that as well... A lot of requests, I say. Are you sure you're up to it???

Tina Turner | What's Love Got To Do With It?
Tina, oh excuse me, The One and only Tina Turner, finds herself wondering in this clip What is Love, got to do with it? Is it a second hand emotion, and what's the use in it, when your heart can be broken? What is love, afterall? Do you have the answer for Tina? Or for us?

George Michael | Careless Whisper
Can we mention the greatest love songs without George Michael? In this clip, he admits that he can never dance again, mainly because guilty feet has no rhythm... He could be pretending, but he knows you're not a fool. He's just never gonna dance again, the way he danced with you... The special one of his...

Fugees | Killing Me Softly
They may only have covered this song, but it will forever be remembered as a Fugees hit... When he's singing her life with his words, he kills her softly with his song... Telling her whole life with his words, he simply kills her with his song. When did songs become so dangerous?

[I know I should have had it last Wednesday, on Valentine's Day, but today it's the mood for me...]

But First I Had to Discover...

Discover --> Discoveries --> Discovering America --> Columbus!
You can not claim this cartoon was not related to the title!
Again, long time no blog... But as I see the way things are going around here, lots of people don't blog recently... Adding the 'No Access' bug, the 'Too Usual' days and working, I guess we have enough reasons to explain the problem.
On the contrary, someone who is back for blogging, is Midi (Midwestrocker), after too long. Welcome back to business YO!
After working the night on Wednesday night, I had Thursday off (of course, returning home in the morning), thus having a super-long weekend (Thursday-Friday-Saturday)!!! Yay for long weekends!
Weekend = Friday + Saturday
Since Weekend is for shopping and sleeping,
Shopping + Sleeping = Friday + Saturday
Changing sides,
Shopping - Friday = Saturday - Sleeping
And the consequences...
Having spare money = Being Nervous
I guess we've just had a proof for another fact of life!
Nurit Galron - Sfinote'a
Only for those of you who love world-music type...
Nurit Galron, a respected singer in Israel for decades, with a new song and clip, Sfinote'a (Her Ships). I love how the ship is floating next to the buildings... Who said computers can't help?
To Iceland, Jamaica, New Zealand,
To the end of the world,
To nowhere specific...
Monster - I hope you liked it!

His Reply Was Non-Committal, I am What I am

So what's up with you all? How's everybody doing? What is your mood today?
I'm fine. Well, I still can't say I'm 100% happy now, since nothing actually has been changed since Tuesday. But I came to several decisions, and I'm ok with them. My biggest worry of this week, the work on Thursday night, is over, and I can calm down now... Until the next drama, of course
I hope I haven't caused anyone to worry about me in my previous blog. Most of my blogs are enjoyable and funny, but I do tend to get into this drama once in a while. I wanna thank you all for your support in my tough moments.
Joelle, you are the best!
Monster, I'm happy you made it to my blog eventually
Too often man handles life as he does the bad weather, He whiles away the time as he waits for it to stop
Alfred Polgar
You all know what's about to come in just 4 seconds... 3... 2... 1... Now!
Mark Owen | Four Minute Warning
Four minutes left to go,
Is this the end then?
Message on your stereo,
Four minute warning,
Everybody wants to know,
What should we do?
A few short stories,
A four minute warning...
I don't know, I just LUUUVVV this song for so long, and this week I found that it has a video! I can't describe how happy I was!

I Know You Wanna Be My Salvation
Oh, these words were supposed to be replaced with a real intoduction... *cough*

Tuesday already. February already. It's 2007 people. Man, how time flies. I hate saying that, but one day you just wake up in the morning and realize you wasted your all life for nada. And what's the use? Why don't we do what we like, enjoy what we love, be with people who care about us? Why does everything in life has to be so difficult, so tough?
I mean, you always get stuck with the wrong people. You always find yourself arguing we the one you believed to be someone who cares about you, but in one turn of face, happens to be your biggest enemy. I know not all of us can be the same, I admit that this could be very boring. But why do all of the wrong people are centered at one place? Is it a law or something?
It's been a long time now I feel so sad. So desperate. I'm not enjoying life as I thought I would. I always do the same things, over and over. Nothing's new. Nothing's interesting anymore. Why does it have to be like that?
Take That | Patience
Do you have it? Can I'm running out of patience. Waiting is not fun for me.
Blog title was also referring to this song.
I know this is not the blog you all expect me to write, but I had to take it all out. Sorry
Much Love and *hugs*,

Tiger's Eye

Now, it's not that I don't want to blog. It's just that I don't have time for it. Why, you'd ask immediately. I assume I have the answer for you all:
Work + Tiredness - No Creativity - No Ideas = No Blogs.
Therefore, if we use simple mathematics,
Work + Tiredness = No Blogs + No Creativity + No Ideas.
A lil more simplicity, with basic multiple rules,
Work + Tiredness = No (Blogs + Creativity + Ideas).
And then, while Blogs = Creativity = Ideas,
Work + Tiredness = 3No
And lastly,
Work = 3No - Tiredness
So, coming to a conclusion that Work is No, No, No, but less the Tiredness.
Interesting fact, I guess
Monster, where are you Monster, I have a YouTube video for you!
Sinergia | Guilty
Since I know how much you just LUUVVV Sinergia, I brought their new song right to your ears (and eyes). Ashem, or Guilty (actually the translation is, The One To Blame), is the new song, which I already just LUUUVVVV. Do you just LUUUUVVVV it too??
You can all try if you wish. Israeli Rock is da Bestest!!!!

It's The Eye Of The Tiger!
Where? Where??????
So, to end this crazy blog, I will step off right here...

I Will Be Right Here, Waiting For You

This blog is dedicated to all those people with duplicate personalities, and/or triplicate personalities, and/or several desperate emotions for lazy dogs that weigh more than a usual truck.
This blog is also dedicated to all of my friends, whether they are virtual, and/or real, and/or metamorphosed, and/or having some sort of photosynthesis transformation in which they will end up eating sand and sunbathing all day.
This blog is also dedicated to all those music lovers, and/or TV lovers, and/or theory lovers, mainy people who enjoy conspiracy stories of aliens ruling all those high positions of the government, eventually taking over the whole planet, which will be overruled by crazy giant Bluetooth Speakers. In case you wondered why there are so many cellphone anthens (and/or anthems) all around the place.
Richard Marx | Right Here Waiting
One of the greatest love songs of all time (personally, and/or literally, speaking, of course), which I will never have enough of hearing. Plus, original old versions DO 100% of the times sound better

Some more dedications (and/or shoutouts):
Monster- Above song is dedicated to you. Hope you enjoyed listening
Jo- My last blog hasn't recovered yet from you not commenting in it
BB- My hero! Wishing you a calm weekend filled with good news
Next time on Afenla's blog: More about the And/Or theory, with more surprising discoveries!

There Were Times, I Could Tell

The Chinese say: For every minute that passes, no more rice will be added.
So it's Thursday again. My week has ended. My weekend just begins. Woo-Hoo? I guess not. Maybe a little Wheeee for the rainy Saturday that is ahead of us, but what other reasons do I have for happiness?

The Chinese say: Time is like a bus. From the moment you've lost it, you'll never get to it again.
Saturday is also Tu-Bish'vat (or, 'Tu' of 'Shvat', the 15th day of month Shvat). The holiday of the trees. The New-Year's day of the agriculture, the day when students and nature-lovers go to plant new little trees.
We also went today from work to plant trees for Tu-Bish'vat. It was nice to plant a new young tree, knowing that some years from now it will grown and beautiful
One tradition of the holiday is to eat dried fruit. I don't like them too much

The Chinese say: In order to save time, you have to first build a cross-dimensional timebox. And that's hard enough.
Hurray for my new BANNER? How do you like my new BANNER? I know it's not fancy as my previous red-black one, but still, it's new, and... Glorious, and... NEW?
So coming to a conclusion, there are still a few reasons to be happy this weekend. Everybody FOLLOW me to the hills... We're gonna plant a tree, for you and me...
Spetember | Looking For Love
Time to party with September (it's February now, you crazy Afenla), and their best song Looking for Love!!! September Rulez!!!11

The Chinese say: Time has no wings. But it flies.
That's all for now, oh, before I go...
PS. All chinese idioms are fabricated.
PS. There's no song such as We're gonna plant a tree, for you and me...

Flames to Dust, Lovers to Friends

I couldn't resist hiding some words today...
Hey! Long enough since my last blog, I realized just now, after seeing Jo writing a new blog today (FINALLY?!), and Monster writing two new blogs these two days. So I said to myself,
Afenla, wake up you lil buddy, it's time to brush that hair, straighten up your back, and leave that lonely island of these lonely people who don't write blogs anymore
Too much info, I guess...
Anyway, I tell ya, Afenla, it's time to write a new blog! So what if you don't know what to write about? Joelle does that all the time
With no intention of hurting, you know that honey
Even finding a blog title is not such a tough work to do. Just take a note from one of the songs you are hearing now!

Interesting blog so far, isn't it?
Blogtitle refers to Nelly Furtado - All good Things (Come To An End).
We can also write about some important things, such as people who has seperate personalities (not that we have such kind, huh?), or people who argue badly about minor stuff (not us, right?)
So even though I had nothing to write about, I found myself writing a full page of boring philosophical ideas, for example, "How the And/Or theory will affect the modern world?", or "And/Or, for losers or for blog posters?"
They don't wanna read it! Stop that now! They wanna hear a YouTube video, that's what they wanna do now! And afterwards they will go to sleep anyway, so what's the use?
Vibekingz & Maliq - She's Like The Wind
Whether you've heard it on the radio by now, or whether you didn't, and you are just familiar with the old version, be sure that the cover version doesn't fall to meet high standards. Just give it a try, will ya?

Where do hidden words go to when the sun sets and the stars shine?
You see, you have a blog there! Just don't forget to thank everyone affiliated, and that's all

BB, you're the greatest warrior Earth has ever known! I keep you in mind as you go through the rough stages of recovery, and I can't wait for you to blog again!
Carlos, I hope you won't vanish after BB's return, you're precious for us, besides being the best friend there is!
Joelle, you have a GREAT-PIECE-of-a-BANNER there, y'all might wanna go have a look! I Luuuuv it
Elin, well, have you found them words yet?
Much Love and *hugs*,

~Afenla
Watch The Tables Turn

Some hidden words, dedicated to Elin!
I've been working the night yesterday. Again. Does this life can ever be fair? Every second weekend is being destryed by work, and/or rain, and/or whatever else with the same idea. That's why I didn't blog yesterday, and almost couldn't find the time to blop a lil. But I did blopped, for the record, and/or the CD, and/or the tape cassette that was bought 10 years ago and didn't melt yet
I know, I'm a lil bit crazy today. Between Wednesday to Thursday I slept 3 hours, I slept 4 hours Thursday noon, 6 hours during work, and 8 more hours today morning-noon. A bit odd, and/or weird, and/or totally insane. Now I'm ok, but I feel I should post a funny blog. Are you all ok with it?

I'd never sleep on such a pillow. It scares me. Sleeping and dreaming about binary numbers, you might fall off to the Matrix reality. I had enough programming during highschool, I love it no more
Talking about dreaming, who never dreams about the past? About going back in time to when everything was so calm and easy, so innocent and naive? I'd personally like to return to the 90s, when I was still a young student. But since the 80s wasn't bad at all too, here's a merchandise.
Darren Hayes - 1980 Me (Crush)
Darren Hayes, ex lead singer of Savage Garden (Note to self- bring some Savage Garden music to hear here), with a song fully dedicated to the lovely 80s, from the games, to the cloths and the people. Worth watching.

The above blog, and/or its writer, and/or its readers, should not, can not and must not be taken seriously, theoretically and/or virtually, horizontally and/or vertically.
There's a present for Elin around there in the blog
Much Love and *hugs*,

Slangzta Gone Wild (pt. II)
And now, the continuation...
Bombs to the Eyebrows - (Realting to beauty, perfection or any other measured stuff) Perfect, great, wonderful, extraordinary.
The ceremony was bombs to the eyebrows, so interesting!
[There's] No Situation - No chance, no way. (Also exists as positive - There's a situation).
Listen to me, there's no situation I'm preparing this work until tomorrow, ok?
To Knock a Look - Wearing yourself perfectly, with the best clothes, mode and fashion.
Yesterday the knocked a look, this white shirt goes perfect with their pants!
Total Touch - Somebody Else's Lover
I didn't know this band and/or song before a few hours ago, but this song makes you feel so good and relaxed, you just can't give up on listening to it!

Tomorrow I won't be able to be on, so see you all on Thursday!
Much Love and *hugs*,

Joelle, Here, I Do Blogs!
Ay, another busy week had started.
And again, you find yourself again waking up early (9:00am, I got to go late today for last week's long hours),

annoying yourself with the public transport (there weren't such traffic jams at 11:00am, it's pretty late),

arriving at work (just when most of the people went out to eat),

being asked the same "How Was Your Weekend" questions (I skipped this part today),

and finally going home at 5:30 (not gonna happen when the technician finds so many mishaps with the machine, and you feel ashamed even for calling him up to come today. Couldn't it wait for tomorrow morning?),

And ariving home oh-so-tired (I ate lots of waffles, that helped a lot).

Not bad comparing it's my first photo-blog ever, ah?
Bryan Rice | No Promises
Such a sensitive singer, such a melting song, such a great soundtrack. You'd need nothing else to complete the mood. Just shed a tear and concentrate, while listening to this.

Wishing all of you a great and wonderful week, Much Love and *hugs*,
