Christmas was a lot better this year. I didn't have enough money so i could only get each person in my family one gift.
My sister actually got more more stuff this year than she ever has before. I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that i pretty much disowned her after she got drunk and bit my mom in the face. She must have figured it and thought that she could use money to redeem herself. She got me some long purple coat from tripp, a black hoody from iron fist, a Charlie the unicorn journal *facepaw*, and a tripp button up black shirt with a zipper over the pocket.
My mom got me some shirts from the shrine, one of my favorite clothing lines, and Tim (my mom's boyfriend) got me some expensive cologne, a tote bag with skulls on it, and a box with beers from around the world.
Hi All!
How are we eh? Hope you all are good and healthy gorguzz cats and dogs!
So watz the new newz with me? Well I end up doing my trip to Sydney last weekend and went to the Night In Fantasia Concert on Saturday Night! It was totally AWESOME!!!! They played a bunch of anime and game music with a huuuuge orchestra! My seating was neare the front, about ten rows back. Had a mate with me too.
Special Artists and Composers were there including:
Wataru Hokoyama (Resident Evil 5, AFKIRA)
Chris Velasco (God of War Series)
Masunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross)
Iron Zur (Fallout 3, Prince of Persia)
Kow Otani (Shadow of the Colossus)
Steve Jablonsky (Gears of War 2, Transformers 2)
Go Shiina (Tekken 5, Tales of Legendia)
The Performances were AMAZING!!! Totally wondeful and beautiful. Truly worth going and paying. They had some merchandise which I bought a poster and CD. My favorite performace was when Kow Otani himself played on the piano doing his own pieces of his shadow of the colossus. Also the last encore performance every person on stage put a bandana on and started playing the Metal Gear Solid Theme. TOTALLY EPIC!!!!!!
Here some piccies!

Can Any Shooter Stand Up To Halo 3?
With other high profile games on the way like Haze, Killzone 2, The Darkness, and Crysis, does anyone believe that any of these games can compete with the 10005080 tone freight train that is Halo 3?
Although some of these games promise to be excellent and look like they will deliver, does the hype of Halo 3 alone outweigh any chance that they have to be successful, because we all know that Halo 3 would sell even if Bungie just shoved some dog crap in the box and told you to throw it at your parents.
Personally I dont think that any game, regardless of its pedagree or its outcome, can or will stand up to Halo 3, thats not to say that Halo 3 will be a better game than any of these other games, that is simply based on the ridiclious ammounts of Hype and fan love that surround this series.
What do you think?

So I got my Nintendo Wii today at about 8:30 in the morning. But it's kind of strange since I got to the Wal-Mart I was planning to camp out at about 12:30 after watching the Manny Pacquiao/ Erik Morales fight (Pac-Man in the 3rd with a TKO victory).
When I got there there was about 20 other guys there so I got comfy in my chair and was prepared for a very long night. However, much to my excitement the manager of the store came out and handed everyone tickets guarenteeing everyone there a Wii until 8:30. SCORE!!!! So yeah, I got back home, slept, came back at 8:00 and got it in my hands at about 8:20. Of course, I picked up Twilight Princess with it. I'm planning on getting a classic controller, another remote and nunchuck as well as Trauma Center and Monkey Ball later on down the road.
I've really enjoyed it so far. Wii Sports is a ton of fun, so much so that my mom even decided to have a match of tennis. As for Zelda? Well, It's out of the shrink wrapping, but not in my Wii yet. The reason you ask? The damn system doesn't come with component cables, and the videophile in me just absolutely refuses to play the game unless it's in widescreen 480p. I mean, I have an HDTV, so I'm Going to use it. Other than that little quibble I've had a great experience so far, especially in terms of the ease of setting up the wi-fi to get connected to the internet.
So all-in-all, if you have a chance to get one this holiday season. Do it. It seems really great so far and you'll be surprised just how many people, even those that have never picked up a controller in their lives, will really dig it. From what I've seen so far, Nintendo's "Blue Ocean" strategy for this cycle of the console wars seems to be pretty on the ball.
Please make sure that Yuri, Alice, Nicolai, Margarete, Keith, Kurando, Albert Simon and Blanca are in it.
If there is more than one entry I will have a contest/poll where everybody can pick their favorite.
Thanks,
Yuri_Hyuga24
*sigh* I got back from my awesome vacation about a month ago. I'll give a brief rundown. If you are a monster, and wish to break my heart, scroll down to the next paragraph, where the blog entry continues. If you wish to please the Joezer, then continue reading...
AAAAAAAAnyways. I went to the glorious continent of North America, where I visited BOTH (yes, BOTH) of it's fabulous countries. I went from Doha, Qatar, directly to Amsterdam, where I ate many fabulous foodz, and saw but a glimpse of the glorious women who inhabit that region. Then, it was a 6 hour flight from Amsterdam to Detroit. Needless to say, I could not amuse myself for that long, and soon resorted to smacking the air hostesses asses, and asking for many drinks of coffee ^_^
I was finally relieved when I arrived in the Land of the Free, but was disappointed again when I realized that it was a 2.5 hour drive from Detroit to Toledo
The drive was hellish, and because of jetlag I almost fell asleep multiple times in the car. But when we arrived in Toledo, we met up with my friend (whom accompanied me on the trip, kudos to him for being awesome) with my friend's mom who had baked BROWNIES for us!!! Plus we made AWESOME SANDWICHES and we ate and ate and ate and ate and ate until we belched burps of satisfaction. From there we went riding around the countryside on bikes, and rented DVD's and did all that stuff. Then, it was off to Washington DC! For two weeks we stayed there, living a college-ish life ( a big thing for me, seeing as I'm going to college next year *dread*) and had much fun! We even went to this party on a cruise thingy and dansed the night away (not with each-other, but with girls....). Then, it was back to Toledo for a few days. Shortly after that, he headed off California where he would benchpress with the governer ( I mak joke), and while I headed off to Canada to meet up with a friend I had not seen in YEARS! As it turned out, we had pretty much the same interests (video gaming, eating, having much merriment, and eating) and we spent on average playing about 2 hours of Halo online each day >_> fun stuff that! After two weeks (which went by sooooo quickly
Now I'm in Qatar, and I haven't been on GS for a while. I'll drop by from time to time, and hopefully I'll see you guys in the forums sometime!
i finally got a banner up....haha! w00t w00t.
