Since a little before the November elections I have found my self a little pre-occupied with campaign of Barack Obama and when he won I felt very good about the future. I haven't had a chance to watch the full inauguration yet but I have it on Sky+ and I can't wait to watch it. I truly believe that he can make substantial differences to the USA. But the thing that makes this a little unusual is that I am British.

The reason I am so interested in the new leader of an entirely different country is because as much as I tried to deny it before I find my self proud now to say that what happens on the large scale in America does affect us here in England and in other places of the world.

President Obama is now the most powerful person in the world and I, Usually fearing that kind of power in the hands of one man, actually feel very good about it. I think I can say on behalf of many Brit's that we have a lot of faith in the new President.

It may seem that the colour of his skin is an important factor, it was around the time of the election and it is now in the sense that it shows that people have come far enough to be able to look past racist pre-dispositions and see a bigger picture. But the most important thing about him now is what kind of person he is, what kind of leader he is and the things that he does with his new found power and I have no doubt that he will make history not as the 1st black president but as the man who lead us from these dark times into a better world.

No pressure or anything!

I just wanted to get this out in the world to show that England has as much faith in Obama as anybody! GO OBAMA!!!!!!!!!

I was poking around in my profile and I decided to check out all my earliest posts and I found somthing that shocked me majorly.

Anyone who takes even a cursory glance at my profile page can tell how major of a Dark Angel Max/Alec shipper I am, from my banner to my personal profile it is very clear. This is why I was so thrown to find these posts from 2 years ago, that I had completely wiped from my memory, on a forum thread titled 'Max and Alec?'

i think, even though it probably never would have happened if the show hadn't been cancelled, that max and alec would have made a good if not funny couple. but it has to be max and logan 4EVA!

I hate Logan in that show, and I had seriously repressed any memories of feeling differently.

It just goes to show that opinions, whether of a TV show inspired pairing or something a lot bigger can change dramatically in a short amount of time.

Max/Alec all the way! FOREVER!!

I was watching music videos the other day and was intrigued by the new Paramore song 'Decode' . It wasn't the song, awsome as it is but more the clips from a new movie shown in the vid. After checking google to find the name of this movie I found out it was called 'Twilight' and is a Vampire love story. I remember thinking one thing .... finally!!!!

Since Vampire High, Buffy, and angel where cancelled I have sorely missed my fix of undead lovin' !LOL!

I read the synopsis and it sounds really good. Not to mention that OC and Never Back Down hottie Cam Gigandet stars as a super bad-ass vampire. i won't go into detail about the plot of the movie, Spoiler haters and all but I will say that it looks dark, hot, action-packed and heart-wrentching. And I can't wait!!!

My little sister stayed at her friend last weekend and spent almost the entire time watching DVD's some of which where of an animated series called Family Guy. Now I had never seen this before so I was a little annoyed when she said she wanted to watch it at 9 every day on FX, but after 5 mins of the first episode I was hooked, It is totally awsome. I especially love Stewie and Brian, they are hilarious.

So this just goes to show that even the younger generation ( like my 10yr old sister ) can sometimes have unshed wisdom

Well as an avid fan of Star Trek I have been aware of the new movie - Star Trek XI - for quite some time. The only problem I have is that I would really like to watch it at the movies before i find out too much about it, which, with more and more hype on ST sites about the film is becoming harder and harder a vow to keep. I know that it will be a recap or prequal to the TOS saga, showing Kirk and Spock in their academy days. I also know that Zachary Quinto is playing Spock. Apart from this I wouldn't like to know anymore until I see it in december. However I have found that my own curiosity is being more of a burden than the constant talk of it as I am usually a spoiler freak. I like to know what is going to happen before it happens except when it is something I care about. While I do care about star trek a lot I was really disapointed with the previous few films ( didn't like the 1st or the 5th, liked the 6th but anything past that was crap! ) so I am atticipating dissapointment in this prequal becouse above all else when do they ever work!?! I guess that all I can really do is try to hold in there until december and be suprised! Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!
