What's up boys and girls? Just noticed that a couple days ago was my 3 year anniversary here at TV.com.
Looking back, I really only spent about 18 months or so of that actually coming here. There was huge periods of time when I just wasn't bothered.
Anyway, it's nice to see that people are still commenting on my blogs and stuff. Looking back, in terms of accomplishments, I have quite a few. Obviously level 28 isn't bad, considering my long abscenes. I have quite a few emblems, close to 3000 posts and 24868 profile views. In terms of editorships, I used to be the editor for over 20 shows and 20 people, including The English Premier League, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, The Panel, Jack Bender, and a whole load more people. Plus, I'm still a TC for Lost, which is quite an acheivment.
Anyway, hope to stick around a few years more. ![]()
Oh, and I just finished Buffy season 5. Damn good season. Can't wait to buy season 6.

OMG... it's been ages since the last time i posted here...
Just wanted to say hello to all my friends that are here. It's been ages since i talked to any of you. Gah i miss chatting about Lost.
So that is why i havent been here. But now I finally have a reason to. Matthew Fox visited Hungary last night and I was there to catch him and take a few photos and ask for a signature!


I also managed to say a few words to him. Of course i was a drooling fanboy so all I could say that he's doing an increasingly amazing job on the show. He thanked me and smiled! ah, story of my life!
Well, been a while since my last blog. I guess special occasions deserve one and Prison Break four seasons run ending is one.
PRISON BREAK
Prison Break series finale was very moving really. I thought it was very sad and emotional but yet fitting and believable. Most characters had a satisfactory end. They didn't go with a totally soap opera happy ending, which is something I really appreciated. My review will be up soon (if anyone care). But in short, I loved seeing Kellerman back..Mahone, Bagwell and the others having a good ending as well the sad and yet satisfactory ending to the Michael/Sara/Linc story. Some people hate it and consider it a slap to the face..but oh well. Thank you writers, crew, actors and everyone else for those 4 seasons. Season 4 was defintely not as good as the first 3 but still very worth it. Shame to see the treatment the show got from Fox in its final run.

Of course, this is not the very last of Prison Break we've seen. Still the "Final Break" coming soon. Supposed to be a straight to DVD release, but a channel in UK will air it first..good then. ![]()
SUPERNATURAL
Just got into the show. It`s such a fun watch. Not as creepy as I was hoping but highly entertaining and hilarious at times. Season 1 was pretty good but things just keeps getting better. I`m 3 episodes into season 2 and the show went from good to great...the premiere was amazing.
Lost
Lost had yet another amazing season. The finale was terrific. Very probably the best show on TV today and among the best ever.
The shield
A word on shield. Watched the finale a couple of weeks ago. It was very depressing but perfect. Loved it ....will miss Vic and Co. But who knows, maybe we`ll get a movie someday. Not that I`m for it tho.

The others
Going to watch the second season of Damages soon...hoping it`s as good as the first one. Heard a lot on Fringe too. I`ve only watched 9 eps and to be honest, it still hasn`t really impressed me...good but not great. So maybe the remaining episodes will be better (for me).
How I met your mother had an overall OK season. Not over yet but it is nowhere near the first great 3 seasons. Still has some great episodes tho. Got into 30 Rock recently and it`s kinda better right now.
Still 2 months of doing nothing till university starts...so more to enjoy.
Liverpool Football Club
Those damn @#$%%^&*() Mancs won it again and equalled our 18 times record....absolutely horrible sight. But it was a positive season for us and I know we are as good as Manutd can be. Bring on the next season (for sure this time lol)...you`ll never walk alone.
Hell ...blogs are fun
I've been so busy lately. I've had exams, I've been catching up on so much work from last semester and I'm finally on Easter break so I've decided to blog.
Firstly, TV:
LOST:
I've watched Namaste, He's Our You, Whatever Happened Happened and Dead Is Dead and I really love the direction the show is heading in. While the first two of these episodes were the slowest of the season so far, the next two were awesome especially the Ben centric Dead Is Dead. Any episode with Smokey does well in my book as does any episode that showcases Michael Emerson's acting talent and adds more to the Locke-Ben relationship. I can't wait for the final episodes of the season!
DOLLHOUSE:
It started with a bang and developed into a bit of a mess, but the last few episodes have been great. Now that we are starting to feel for the Dolls, despite the fact that they have no personality, the show has become a lot more interesting. The story is still as intriguing as ever, and it looks like Joss Whedon has added another awesome show to his resume.
PILOTS:
- Parks and Recreation: 8/10
- Party Down: 6/10
- Harper's Island: 2/10
In non-TV related news, I'm going for my driver's permit next week and in hopes that I can drive before I start uni next year. I'm also going to America at the end of the year for a month which will be awesome, because I haven't been back since I lived there when I was younger.
I've also decided to compile a list of my favourite shows. I'll add to it every blog (which will hopefully be more regular in the future)

#20: The Comeback
This short lived series was an awkward comedy staring the brilliant Lisa Kudrow. Though it was sometimes painful watching Valerie Cherish attempt to make a 'comeback' in Hollywood, it was always funny and often provided a very real and gritty look into Hollywood today.
#19: Dead Like Me
A show about death, which was really more about life. With a witty cast and some great storylines, this show was great for the two seasons that it aired. This show can be both funny and at times inspiring and moving, as the main character George Lass deals with death and dwells on the past in order to move on.

1. Left-Handed Whoppers!
In 1998, Burger King ran an ad in USA Today, saying that people could get a Whopper for left-handed people whose condiments were designed to drip out of the right side. Not only did customers order the new burgers, but some specifically requested the "old", right-handed burger.

2. Spaghetti Trees!
The BBC television programme Programa ran a famous hoax in 1957, showing the Swiss harvesting spaghetti from trees. They had claimed that the despised pest the spaghetti weevil had been eradicated. A large number of people contacted the BBC wanting to know how to cultivate their own spaghetti trees.
3. Biblical Pi!
The April 1998 newsletter of New Mexicanz for Science and Reason contained an article written by physicist Mark Boslough claiming that the Alabama Legislature had voted to change the value of the mathematical constant pi to the " Biblical value" of 3.0.
4. Taco Liberty Bell!
In 1996, Taco Bell took out a full-page advertisement in The New York Times announcing that they had purchased the Liberty Bell to "reduce the country's debt" and renamed it the "Taco Liberty Bell." When asked about the sale, White House press secretary Mike McCurry replied tongue-in-cheek that the Lincoln Memorial had also been sold and would henceforth be known as the Ford Lincoln Mercury Memorial.
5. Smell-O-Vision!
In 1965, the BBC purported to conduct a trial of a new technology allowing the transmission of odor over the airwaves to all viewers. Many viewers reportedly contacted the BBC to report the trial's success.

6. Jovian-Plutonian Gravitational Effect!
In 1976, British astronomer Sir Patrick Moore told listeners of BBC Radio 2 that unique alignment of Jupiter and Pluto would result in an upward gravitational pull making people lighter at precisely 9:47 a.m. that day. He invited his audience to jump in the air and experience "a strange floating sensation." Dozens of listeners phoned in to say the experiment had worked.
7. The Great Iceberg!
On April 1, 1978 a barge appeared in Sydney Harbour towing a giant iceberg. Dick Smith, a local adventurer and millionaire businessman, had been loudly promoting his scheme to tow an iceberg from Antarctica for quite some time. Now he had apparently succeeded. He said that he was going to carve the berg into small ice cubes, which he would sell to the public for ten cents each. These well-traveled cubes, fresh from the pure waters of Antarctica, were promised to improve the flavor of any drink they cooled. Slowly the iceberg made its way into the harbor. Local radio stations provided excited blow-by-blow coverage of the scene. Only when the berg was well into the harbor was its secret revealed. It started to rain, and the firefighting foam and shaving cream that the berg was really made of washed away, uncovering the white plastic sheets beneath.
8. NPR!
Every year National Public Radio in the United States does an extensive news story on April 1st. These usually start off more or less reasonably, and get more and more unusual. A recent example is the story on the "iBod" a portable body control device. It also runs false sponsor mentions, such as "Support for NPR comes from the Soylent Corporation, manufacturing protein-rich food products in a variety of colors. Soylent Green is People."
9. Maryville Madness!
In 2005, the Maryville Daily Forum newspaper in Maryville, Mo., published an entirely fake front page on April 1. One story detailed a plan to drain a local lake to find the city manager's lucky golf ball. Maryville City Hall also received dozens of phone calls from citizens outraged that the city would drain the lake.

10. South Park Spoof!
April 1st, 1998 was advertised as being the premiere of the show's second season — and also the resolution of a cliffhanger where Eric Cartman was about to discover the identity of his father. Fans spent weeks speculating on the father's identity, but when they tuned in to watch it they were instead treated to Terrance & Phillip in "Not Without My Anus" , a half-hour of Terrance and Phillip fart jokes. The true resolution to the cliffhanger aired several weeks later. The show's creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone claim during the DVD introduction to this episode that they received death threats over pulling the prank. I was one of the fans waiting to watch the episode... and I was not too happy about the alternative!
And what a year it has been!!! Personally, I must be veryy thankful to God because to be honest this has been THE BEST YEAR EVER FOR MEE!!

Oh and one other thing, I heard a lot about the black-out day tomorrow. I wasn't sure if I was going to participate or not, because on the one hand I think it's a good idea and something like this can never hurt. Then again, on the other hand I did want to post this blog and I didn't know if it would have any effect. But a friend of mine reminded me that since Australia is 8 hours ahead of me, I could still post this blog and not come on tomorrow. So I decided that's what I'm going to do. I'm not too happy about the new lay-out and I hate how they didn't pay enough attention to the community by making this changes. In my idea the community is the thing that's most important on this site and it's the thing that always makes me want to come here to share my stories and read those of others.
There are quite some things that are still bugging me, like the fact that you can't see more then 20 comments on your blog. I mean come on, if people take the time to leave me a comment (I love comments!), at least I want to be able to read them and respond to them. I'm also posting this blog through mp3.com, because I don't even know how to get pics on my blog anymore. I don't know if this black-out day will have any effect on the editors from this site, but at least we're making a stand and we're showing our opinion. And that's what's most important.

Hey guys,i just wanted you to know that from now on i won't be blogging on Saturday. In fact,i will not have a particular day of blogging and sometimes i won't be blogging at all. Now that LOST is on hiatus,there is not much to talk about.
I started watching SCRUBS, and i must say i liked it! It's a wonderful show, it has loads of hilarious moments and it's very enjoyable. I am currently in episode 7 of season 1. J.D who is the main character is so cool and funny. Of course he is my favourite so far. I think in 3-4 days i will finish season1 and carry on with the 2nd season.

Another hilarious show that has returned 2 weeks ago is How i met your mother(whoever has not seen it yet,must start watching it!)

Lasts week's episode was one of the best of the series! It was so hilarious and smart! Britney Spears was playing as well,and surprisingly she did a great job! Her role she was given was so funny and well written! In addition, Britney did not only help the episode to be better and funnier by her presence,but she helped the ratings to boost up! "Ten sessions" (as the episode it's tittled) hit almost 11million viewers,the highest ratings How i met your mother ever had!
Now,let's see the results of last week's poll. The question was:

Some spoilers of the episode if you havent seen it but other then that just theories.
Well I'm back with another blog about Lost and 'The Economist' hope this one is intresting and doesnt lose you in any way.
I bet your wandering what on earth Gedenkan means well in German it stands for Thought Experiments. As i was doing my research on the net of theories etc it came up with this:-
"If you could travel back in time, could you kill your grandfather? Logic tells you that no, you could not, for if you did, you would not exist. (Pause here and consider why Locke insists that "he can't" kill his father, he needs somebody else to do it.) The beautiful thing about Gedanken Experiments is that they are both scientific and philosophical, perfect fodder for a creative writer. In the case of the Grandfather Paradox, while they logic is clear, the actual experience of it is a mystery. Imagine actually standing there in the past, holding a loaded gun to the head of your grandfather... what would actually prevent you? "Something" would, some unknown mechanism of physics... and that is where the writers of "Lost" imagine for us. "
This really got me thinking as i agree with this person like hes stating about time where we get an insight of it in 'The Economist' where Dan does his experiment and the payload arrives 31 minutes after Daniel expects it to. I loved this part of the episode the most, as it answers the question about the 'Time' on the Island.
Many have been stating about an electromagnetic field covering the Island making it invisable to the eye this makes sense to me. This could cause the speed of light to be different as well as the time. When Dan first arrives to the Island he says something like 'The light is scattered everywhere' this could be how the light is rebounding off the electromagnetic field surrounding the Island causing the scatter effect.
Ok now about my thought on the episode 'The Economist'.
The oceanic 6
Hmm well i think all the flash forwards (which are great) are those of the 6 survivors that make it off the Island some people in the forums are speculating what if its not. Well it is in my opinion. However Can Kate really be one of them? What if Sawyer says is true: she's got nothing to go back to but a pair of handcuffs. We know Kate gets off the island, but does she come back to a parade/cash settlement/golden ticket like Hurley, Jack, and Sayid? I think this is why she's so angry with Jack in last season's finale. Kate and Sawyer were going to play house, but then maybe something happens to separate them. But who knows.
Something's up with dead Nadia
Sayid kept on giving those weird looks especially near the end when he sees her face again. Maybe he had a relationship with his sister? Also Frank thinks she's just a piece of meat – Sayid thinks she's important enough to take on the chopper. Dunno but i really want to know.
The bracelet
Looked like the same on Elsa and Naomi. I don't think the bracelet is a token of love the "I'll always be with you" is probs a reminder from their boss that no matter where you are he can find you. And judging from the very important fact that he called Elsa a half hour later than she expected him to… he's probably calling from someplace green, leafy, and wet.
