Woooo!!!!! Went and got this beauty done today....

its on my inside right wrist (if you didn't figure it out!!)

I only made the final decision today...went down to my Tattoo Parlour at lunchtime to make an appointment - normally you'll get an appointment in a months time; but they had a cancellation so the guy asked me if I wanted to get it done then....and I was like "Sure - lead the way!" 40min later I was walking out the door back to work!

Spent a long weekend in Sydney 06-09 August...it was one of my best friends birthday so the 2 of us flew down and caught up with our other best friend Jacq. Mayhem ensued as usual!! Spent way too much money, but had some great food (Italian, Thai, US, Japanese...) yummmy The Saturday night we went out to a metal concert in Leichardt....

That's me on the right in the wig....awesome right?!?!?!? Everyone else was decked out in all black clothes and I rocked along with my hot pink wig, pink nail polish, and black shirt with pink sparkly design!! hehehehe We were all in a fun place coz we had a bottle of tequila before we left Jacq's house and we were sinking back vodka at the concert FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!!

Gotta start saving the cash up for the Soundwave Festival- early bird tickets go on sale next week...this will be my birthday present to myself! Its in Brisbane on 20th February 2010 - so its perfect timing!! The line-up is awesome: Faith No More, My Chemical Romance, AFI, Paramore....can't wait!!!

Anyway, I'm off to get myself a glass of wine and stare at my pretty pretty tattoo!

Wow....I haven't updated my blog in months! sorry people! You all know what its like - real life intrudes and then I don't have the energy to blog, and the next thing you know its been 4months since you last updated!

Easter was spent down in Tasmania with the family....was originally supposed to be just me, mum & dad but David threw his job in and moved back in....without forewarning them! He just rocked up on the doorstep with all his stuff and pretty much just walked in, sat down and grabbed a beer from the fridge!! suffice it to say that none of us were very happy!!! Mum and I had a lot of fun - we had a full day of shopping in Launceston; we got all dressed up and off we went. Spent too much money as usual, but it was mum's birthday so who cares! Love my mama so much.

Whilst down in Tas, mum & dad got 2 little kittens!!! awwww.....they are SO cute!! Ginger and Petal....Ginger is my little man and mum had to check my luggage when I left to make sure that I wasn't taking him with me!! But they're adorable! They were so tiny that you they'd fit in one hand when you picked them up Makes me wish I could have pets...but I rent and am not allowed to have any pets which really sucks!!!

David now has full-time job at an export quality meatworks (abattoir) near Launceston - so he's driving nearly 1.5hrs each way everyday. He has an agreement with mum & dad that by the end of July he has to find a place to live and move out or else move back to the mainland....now that he has a job I think he's hunting for a place near Launceston and his job. So mum & dad are counting down the days until he's moved out! Mum has all these plans for the room he's been staying in....

Well work is proving to be incredibly stressful....leading up to the end of the financial year I swear I was getting a stomach ulcer!!!! So much to do, not enough time in a day, filing that keeps on piling up and up to the point where I think I have almost 12months worth of filing in my draws that I have 1week to file away!! OMG!! I have a week coz the boss is away and so work will be slightly quieter than normal.......figners crossed!!! But since he's already given me a pretty big list of things he'd like done, I'm still going to be run off my feet!!

What makes it harder too is that the girls at work (Mel & Suze) don't seem to include me in anything anymore....makes me think of highschool all over again! In that I know they get together after work a few times a week and have drinks etc but I don't get invited. Makes me feel all left out coz I wanna be able to b!tch to them about work stuff as well but don't have the opportunity. So I go home and stew coz I can't exactly call my other girlfriends and complain to them due to privacy issues etc so I contain everything inside and so I think I'm headed towards stomach ulcers! Or a nervous breakdown!!

I know I know - I should try to relax and forget about it all, but sometimes I just can't turn my brain off and it keeps me up at night

BUT onto better and brighter things.....there's a long weekend trip down to Sydney next month for one of my best friends birthdays...hello hotel room, heavy metal concert and tequila shots!! Should be a lot of fun with the girls!!!

AND even better.....next overseas holiday - SPAIN!!! Yep, JJ & BM I'm going to be coming over in August 2010 (I know I originally said May, but need more time to save!) the plan is to fly from Brisbane to Barcelona (stay for a few days), hook up with JJ and stay with her for a few days, then off to visit BM and stay with her, then down to Madrid for a few more days before flying home. Its so exciting planning my holidays!!! And having the opportunity to meet the girls is awesome!!!

Well yesterday I survived a 7km hike through the Ravensbourne National Park - in freezing gale force winds (thanks boss) as part of our work birthday and then we had a 2.5hr lunch at a lovely restuarant. That hike was fun but it nearly killed me when we had to come but up a mountain with all this stairs and at a fast walk!!! hello??? I'm not a fitness person!! And I forgot to take my asthma inhaler with me so I was gasping and wheezing all over the place

So I'm sitting here on my couch at 10.30 Sunday morning in my pj's with the heater on typing this....have decided that I'm going to see Transformers 2 today at the cinema. Should be fantastic! Should be spending the day cleaning but the movies is a much better alternative!

Anyway, I hope everyone here is well and enjoying life (I can't wait for the new seasons of my fave tv shows to start....bring on September!!!!). Sending you all massive squishy hugs!!

SQUUEEEEE!!!!! Last night was the dinner & presentation for the Rotary Awards (I think I told you all that I won right??!!) well anyways, here I am with my 'Pride of Workmanship Award'

oh yeah...I'm a FOXY LADY was a good night all round!

Nearly had a fudgin heart attack very early this morning tho...was fast asleep when all of a sudden the fudgin smoke alarm outside my bedroom went off at 12.30am!!! It went for about 5sec then stopped....then about 30sec later it went off again for another 5sec or so....then 20min later it went off again!!!!! AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!!! I got up both times and looked around downstairs but there was no smoke, no fire, no electrical burn smell.....absolutely freakin NOTHING!!!! @#$%^&* smoke alarms!!!! I went and pulled the batteries out just so I could get some damn sleep!

So just wanted share the good news! Massive hugs to you all!!!!

*moan* owwwwwwwww......I have somehow managed to pull the muscles in my lower back last night and its so painful!!! Yesterday morning (sunday) we did the 'Peak to Park' charity walk (4km) - which was fine even tho it was incredibly early!! But the rest of the day was fine until last night - dunno how I did it......so I didn't sleep very well last night, and this morning it was all stiff & I could hardly get downstairs....rang the boss and told him I couldn't make it to work.

Just got back from the doctor's - nothing they can really do except tell me to take it easy, no lifting anything heavy (well duh!!) and to do some light stretching to loosen the muscles.

so I'm sitting on my stool at the kitchen bench, currently playing 'Last Chaos' - its an MMORPG game that I downloaded yesterday....its very addictive!!! My only problem with it is it chugs a bit on my laptop when you go into the cities and there's lots of other characters around....but apart from that - kinda fun

Mum rang on Saturday to have chat (or in her words a 'b!tch) - you know how I said that David had moved down?? well he's currently shacked up at mum & dad's, taken over mum's sewing room/office AND her front spare room with all his junk...the job he went down for fell through - they didn't have anything available for him...so no job. Typical David - way to impetuous - didn't think any of it thru - just decided one afternoon to move!! He's talking about going on unemployment but he'll be lucky to get any payments for at least 3 months - because he gave up a perfectly good job (he wasn't fired)...so mum & dad are pushing him to apply for a meat works job on King Island (just of Tasmania) - live on the island (rent is $90 per week!!). Because both of them are ready to k!ll him and bury his body in the backyard......

Well I hope everyone's Monday (or Sunday) is going better than mine is!! hugZ!!!
