who remembers those good days so long ago?

what does anyone on here do anymore? all of my old friends are gone. everything has changed. nothing much to do. remember I was the editor for Jeff Goode? well, guess who is retired now. then the beautiful banner AmarJ had made me is gone...

things nowadays are...okaay. I'm involved with theater and AFJROTC. senior in high school. remember when I was in eight grade??? my parents have been...having a huge fight. my personal life is hectic.

Politics '08

First of all thanks to everyone for your support in my previous post. I appreciate it.

What I want to do today is weigh in on the 2008 Presidential race.

Now I know most of you all aren't old enough to vote this election cycle, but many of you are. I'd like to hear your opinions regardless of age, though.

On to my opinion. Early in 2007 when candidates were just getting their campaigns going, my buddy told me about this one guy (and that already disqualifies Hillary ) and I decided to look into him, as well as some of the other candidates.

I'm pretty conservative in my views so naturally I registered as a Republican. And the Republican field was abundant with candidates. So I began the narrowing down.

Well the guy I support now is the same guy I got to know early last year. Through watching his speeches, researching his views, etc. I was very impressed with his leadership ability and optimistic outlook for Anerica.

The candidate I want for President is Mitt Romney. He spent 25 years of his life in the private sector as a very successful businessman, where he accumulated a lot of personal wealth. In 2002, he was chosen to run the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, which were plagued by scandals and financial problems. Mitt Romney turned those games around, which occurred only months after 9/11, and uplifted the spirits of Americans after its most devastating attack in its history.

Then there's Massachusetts. From 2003-2007 Romney served as governor of Massachusetts. Results are seemingly mixed, but he made some very notable accomplishments. In MA, he was able to work with a Democratic legislature to get everyone in the state health care, without the kind of socialized medicine Hillary Clinton. He also inherited a $3 billion deficit and turned it into a surplus within his term without raising taxes. Think about that: Romney solved two of the major issues in this national election as a governor of MA. As President he would offer states incentives to try out and come up with their own health care systems and not insititute "Hillarycare." He would also be able to cut out the waste and duplication in the federal government and balance the budget during his administration.

Another advantage: as a businessman, he has been in the economy, seeing how jobs are created and lost. He would offer unique insight into the economy and could prevent us from moving into a recession. He has proposed a broad economic stimulus plan (worth over $200 billion) that would, among other things, lower the income tax rate for those making roughly $95,000 a year and less to 7.5% from 10%, retroactive to 2007. He'd also eliminate payroll taxes on workers over age 65. And he'd eliminate taxes for those making $200,000 or less on capital gains, interest, etc. View his full stimulus plan at mittromney.com.

Level 12! (And a whole TON of other stuff!)

Actually, I think I've been Level 12 for a long time, but hey. I have a good excuse: School. Evil school. I never thought I would get tired of field trips, but hey. It apparently is possible: I have been on at least three in the past two weeks. It's INSANE!

Anyway, thanks to ArrghImAPirate on my last blog. That makes a lot of sense.

And to Inuyasha fangirls, watch out! Because I am now a fangirl of Inuyasha (along with Zuko, Robin from Teen Titans, Lee!, Neji, Shino, and Kiba. Yes, I like a lot of cartoon boys I sort of gave up on my other crush, at least for the time being; he never talks to me anymore. It's annoying.

Oh! I found this great site: www.alphatrance.com/0engine/music/anime. You can go there, and just listen to anime songs (I head right for the Naruto songs! yay Naruto!), as long as you have Windows Media Player. I'm listening to Hero's Come Back right now, which reminds me of yet another bit of information:

Okay. So I was at the library, and I had plenty of time left before I had to leave, but I was bored with Youtube. I just typed "naruto" in the search, and clicked on a random page. Shippuuden came up, and I said, "Hey. What the heck," and watched episode 12. It RULED! So now I've watched episodes 13 and 14. (No, I have not seen 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11.)

So. My long blog is over. It's good to be back. Boy, I can't wait till school's out (June 15!)

finally

I'M ON BREAK!!!!!

Summer vacations finally. Now I have to decide whether to go to Nicaragua for the medical delegation thing or go to summer school...hm...

Well I'm now a junior in college! Man, time went by very fast this year. Can't believe it! I remember very little about the events of this past year. What I do know is that I learned a lot in my classes and I did a lot better this year too. I was more organized and studied harder. Next year, I will do the same but even better

So Far, So Bored
I remember being told that 80 to 90 percent of a deployment is downtime. This is good considering that the alternative usually means that somebody is dying. Now granted, I'm not an infantry Marine. It is not my job to run around kicking in doors, flushing out insurgents and whatnot. Still, I was expecting more from this place. I might be speaking too soon, but this deployment is looking way too easy. My buddy and I are already trying to get off this base and see what goes on outside the wire. Maybe I'll get some interesting stories out of it.

Yeah, I haven't been on tv.com for ages. Sorry... >.> *is shot*

Anyways, I've been busy with a lot of stuff. Flying Bison was going pretty good until it just inactive. Half of the staff left/disappeared and a lot of the members left. Feng Shui is my RPG of choice even though I don't own it and I'm just a mod. Yes, I choose Feng Shui over my own RPG >>. Also, Yinyang Graphics has boomed a lot. Katuko and I are doing pretty good with mantaining even though we just starting High School. *we're freshman X.X* Anyways... yeah. Cya.

Jeeze....
Man, I havn't been on Tv.com for like...ever. I'm just starting to post again, so maybe y'all see me more. I wouldn't be surprised if some of y'all forgot about me either. Anyways, it's good to be back^^ I hope I get to talk to most of my 'long-lost-friends' again

Full Moon
I went to an anime convention and they showed this anime. It was so sweet/sad. It was about this little girl who wanted to be a singer but she had cancer in her throat and couldn't sing. Then these 2 angel type people came and told her she had one year left to live. She was sad but then they helped her become a famous singer. They only showed the first two episodes there so I don't know what happenes next but it was so sad it made me want to cry because my dream is to be a singer so I know how that girl felt and knowing she is going to die in a year must have been so scary! It was the deepest anime I have ever seen...it was wonderful!
