Hello to everyone that I know on G/S

It is such a long time since I've posted a blog on here but you can blame pressure of work and Facebook. Hopefully I can manage to spend some time on my Unions now but if I feel that I'm failing I've decided to find new Leaders for both of them. I have been away for so long and it's odd but I don't seem to have missed much. All of the Unions are pretty quiet and G/S is the same as it ever was.

Beth has made me a new avatar and a new banner. For those of you who aren't familiar with the subjects I'll just say "Twilight". Yes I'm hooked on a teenage girls fantasy and I don't really care. Everyone is entitled to dream......and it keeps me sane .

Not a lot has happened in my life since my last blog. Except that Beth finally settled into Uni life and did incredibly well in her 1st year. Mike has become a PS3 trophy addict and is driving me insane looking for games on Ebay with trophies. I read somewhere that all PS3 games that have come out this year will have trophies...he even played my Harry Potter and the HBP to get a trophy lol.

I hope that all of my friends on G/S are keeping well and are not suffering too much from "The Credit Crunch".

By the way I really should change my name to Babsthesuzuki because I've changed my car. I miss my little Yaris but I couldn't go on any longer without air con...it's not a luxury anymore...it's a necessity!!!!

. Glad you're doing well and that Beth's doing well in Uni...Hmm...Mike sounds as "bad" as some people are with achievements for the 360, lol...as long as it keeps him occupied and out of trouble, right?

Hi Wren, I noticed that Bella was missing but Beth couldn't find one that included her. Beth says that my banner is a pic of the Cullen clan in the book New Moon. Hopefully Bella & Nessie will be in a pic that goes with Breaking Dawn. Maybe Jacob will be in it as well.
Mike is a good lad except that he spends far too much time on his consoles and not enough time outside getting some exercise. At least as you say he's keeping out of trouble. By the way my problem with my awful MIL is solved. She "popped her clogs" (my husband's words...not mine!!) 18 months ago. I don't think that she will be sadly missed because she was not very popular due to her bullying and domineering ways.
Iowa......it's great to hear from you, I have missed your humour and sense of fun.

I like twilight twilights amazing im reading new moon right now and im going to go see the movie of new moon with a friend either on the day or the day after it comes out in cinemas.

Hi Peter....I'm going to wait until New Moon comes out on DVD because I find all those silly girls in the cinema very annoying. I like to watch my films in peace...usually on my laptop with my earbuds in lol

About Me

My name is Babs and I'm a mature female gamer. I'm married with 2 kids at home and one grown up and flown the nest. I'm also a Granny but I'm young at heart.....17 to be exact. I found games etc about 10 years ago. I have a PS2, PSP, DS and Wii. My favourite games are RPG puzzle type games, but I do not like FPS games with a lot of blood & violence. I like being an older gamer because I don't have to save up my pocket money to buy new games although I do have to budget if I want a new console....I usually starve my kids for a couple of weeks lol.
