Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (For those whom have read the book)

This blog is about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It is though for those whom have read it and wish to discuss it or you want to learn about all the spoilers.

So what did you guys all think of it? And when did you finish it?? I finished Sunday Night.

You crack me up!! Okay, I just want to say Woohoo!!! The couples I wanted together were!! I soooo called it

And yeah, finished midday-afternooon (didn't check the time, not sure exactly when) on the 21st, couldn't put it down, I am now reading for the second time, but yeah, I am not as bad as a friend of mine, who is almost finished the third reading of hers, and is running on caffeine and little sleep!!

So I haven't read it. I'm too busy to pick it up and read it! Is it good? Does J.K. Rowling end up killing all the characters off in the end?

No, not all the characters!!

She was actually good about that, I mean, it was a war at the end so some had to die, but she did it the right way (I thought).

I finished it Sunday night too

. I can't think of a favorite chapter right now. I loved how the book ended though. I thought that J.K. Rowling was going to kill them all, but I am very happy that she didn't. I've been thinking of Harry's and Ginny's kids. Albus Severus Potter, then there is James and Lily. I have been thinking that maybe James middle name is Sirius or something like that. I just can't think of anything for Lily's middle name. Has anybody else wondered that or is it just me.

I didn't really like the ending. I'm not really into those flash forward books. And I have really never thought of there middle names but it does make sense with James middle name being Sirius. And Teddy he sounds cool.

Ok, I have one thing to say. Who names their kid Scorpius? Seriously. No offence to anyone with that name. I hope James's middle name was Sirius. That would be nice.

And I wanted to see more of Teddy Lupin. He was cool. From the sentence or two we got about him, he seemed like an awesome guy.

I liked the ending. Yes! I know! Shock horror! I liked it. A lot. My fave chapter would probably have to be the one with Snape's memories. I just found that really sad, considering JKR killed him off. I wish they would have developed James's character more. She really got Snape beautifully, but I just get the impression that James seems like an arrogant pig when I'm sure he was a nice guy.

Anyhoo...WHOA that was long.

I finished the book 2 weeks ago, but work is slow and this is the first time in as many weeks that I have time to cruise the blogs. So here it goes:

I loved the book, I am so pleased with how JKR ended it. Normally I am not a big fan of flash forwards either but this time I didnt really mind. It was reassuring to know what became of the characters.

My favortite chapter by far was "the Prince's Tale" Snape has been my favortite character for years and I am really greatfull that JKR gave him some more background. And exactly how I thought it would be too! Severus loved Lily! Aaaw, heartbreaking.

MAJOR SPOILER! The death of Remus and Tonks made me cry so hard the gardener who was working under my window had a look...I think almost all the deaths that happened in this book were written well...much more dignified than Sirius' death. I am still mad about how that one was handled!

LOL, I thought the book was really good. Like I said I didn't like flash forwards at all but yes I agree it was reassuring to know what happend to them. My favourite chapter would have had to be when Harry and Lupin have the fight, I thought it was really good. I was disapointed in his death though. But it was a really good book, JKR did an excellent job!

the flash forwrd part was a bit confusing.. i had to read it like five times just to get it.! other than that.. it was pretty good =)

hey, in nz, it come out on the 7/21/07 (sat), and i only bought the book on the (weds, 7/25/07) started to read on friday, and finish on saturday, so about 2 days.

and about the book, i love it!!! i found that reading the second time round helps, i found out things that i have miss the first time i was reading, if that makes sense. and also i didn't know any thing about the minstry thing, because i didn't read bk 5 and 6, and only read book four cos of the movie.

and i'm really glad that J.K rowling didn't kill the main charactor off. what i found sad was dobby and hedwig, also both lupin and tonks!!!! (poor ted...)

ya about the flash forward... i'm ok with it, but my friend didn't like it either. so i guess there is a few ppl who doesnt' like the way j.k rowling did the end. i quite like it actually.

there was lots of chapters that were interesting, especially the last few chapters, but i especially liked dursleys departing, that was a really funny.

k i think that would be it... lol one of my longest blog i have posted!!!

I read it in about a day and a half, and i have to say its good but to be fair i have to say that J.k kinda let it down in the end, it was a pretty bad ending and i was just like "Wat" when i finished reading it
