What the hell have they done around here? The very appearance of this site disgusts me ever since they decided to screw up the template last September. As apparent in my old (and I mean old) blogs, once upon a time I loved this site. To me, it was the best website on the net. Now, just look at this place. It reminds me of every other entertainment website out there (something I generally loathe regardless). I thought that first overhaul was bad, but this whole supposed "transition to a Hubu-like site" is going to be the end of the little community that is still left from yesteryear. Not surprisingly, this will likely be my last blog post ever. In fact, the only reason I still come here is because I have an obligation to do so with my two guides; although I may decide to retire from both of them and officially shut the door on this part of my life. I guess it depends on how badly CBS Interactive (or whatever their name is) screws up the site in the months to come. You know what they say, 'don't fix what ain't broke'.

Yeah, that's right. I just earned my very first person editorship. This first guide would be for Peter Charles Archibald Ewart Jennings (or just simply Peter Jennings). If you don't know who this man was, he was the senior editor and head anchor of ABC's World News Tonight from 1983 until 2005. He died from complications with lung cancer on August 7th, 2005.

And of course here is the new emblem:

When I came across Peter's guide and saw that it didn't have an editor, I immediately jumped for the chance. You see, this man was sort of a childhood hero for me. I would sit down and watch him report the world news at seven every evening. It really is an honor for me to be the editor for this great man. Yeah, I guess it's about time to do a blog again. I mean it's only been three months since my last one...

One year since...

It's been exactly a year since I posted my first blog. It was the afternoon of January 24th, 2007 when I just felt like writing one for the hell of it, even though I knew no one would read it. I'll tell you, the past year has been an amazing one on this site to say the least. And to be honest, I can't believe it's only been a year. It seems like a lifetime ago since I started doing things around here. I gained the Kim Possible editorship position about ten months ago, and I still keep a very close eye on everything around there. For the start of the second active year on here, I'm thinking about going to find another popular show guide to go after since Kim Possible has long since ended. Who knows what the future will bring...

6000 CPs

I set the six thousand CP's milestone for the Kim Possible guide this past week. Yes, the show has been over for four months, but I still find stuff to contribute to the guide. By the looks of it, I'm going to be the editor forever (or at least until I retire). But honestly, that is the farthest thing from my mind. I love that guide.

Snow... in Georgia?

What's been up with the weather around here? Here in northern Georgia we have endured three different winter weather events within the past few weeks. I like this area because of the lack snow in the winter. I mean I'm all for cold weather (I live for it in fact), but I can't stand snow or ice. It's just a nuisance. I don't understand how you people up north can bear it for several months every single winter.

It just isn't the same

What has this site turned to? I know I don't post blogs anymore, but I'm still here a good twenty times every single day. It seems like the previous TV.com that I was a part of last summer is all but gone. Just about everyone that I remember has long since left this place. The community has just fallen to a bunch of younger members that shouldn't even be here (if you look at the ToS).

Yeah, sorry about the whole 'no blog in two months' thing. I've been really busy with just everyday life. Regardless of being busy, nothing really worth pointing out on here has happened (thus no blogs). So, to prove to you guys that I didn't fall off a cliff, I'll just post a fun blog.

The Finale Airs Tonight:

That's right, the grand finale of Kim Possible will air in the matter of hours from the time I posted this. While the finale has already been shown in New Zealand, on Disney on Demand, and on Youtube, I have chosen not to watch it. I want this episode to be the best it can be. I just can't believe the show I have put so much work into is finally ending. It's sorta sad.

My Forum:

Wow, my forum has been exploding over the past week or so since I posted the finale discussion thread. Every time I get on here there are like twenty new posts. I guess there were more fans on here than I thought. I'm just not trying to think about how the forum will be dead in a matter of months.

Ended:

Tonight I am going to have to make a submission that I have dreaded for the longest time. I am going to have to switch the status of my guide from "Returning Series" to "Ended". It certainly has been a long path to this point.

Wow, I must have forgotten just how much stress school puts on someone. I have absolutely no time for anything l want to do anymore. All my time has been going to homework, projects, and just about anything else you could think of that is school related. Well, I'm still trying to put aside a few hours to be able to submit some of my quotes to the guide, but I just can't find even a minute to do it. I'm still keeping a very close eye on my forum, clearing my queue as fast as possible, and keeping up with updates in the world of Kim Possible, so there are no worries in that department. Well look at this, a new blog. It's been almost a month and a half now since the last one. Basically, in the time since the last blog, I have been stocking up on quotes to submit to my guide, working day in and day out, and finally, just this week, restarting school. That's one of the things I really dislike about Georgia: school starts so early. Oh well, one more year to go until I'm done. Yeah, I am considering it. This quite possibly may be my last blog (at least for a while). Truthfully, I don't have time for blogging anymore. Hey everyone, I'm back (obviously). I had a good time this weekend over in Alabama. It was really hot and humid outside, but the kind of money I made makes up for it. As I said in the last blog, I left Llama_guy in control of my forum while I was gone. All in all, things went well. He only had to do some minor things. In other news, this is the famous blog #50 for me. All I can say is that it is about time. One more until I get that emblem. Finally, I come back to find that there is a new bug that has my level way back down to level one. The staff is saying that tomorrow's update should take care of that...hopefully. Alright, this upcoming weekend I am going to be on a working vacation in the nearby state of Alabama. You see, my parents own a million-dollar corporation, and I am an employee for them. They sell muscle car parts to people all over the world. This particular business requires them to go to car shows throughout the southeastern United States. Well, there is one in Alabama this weekend, and as their employee, I kinda have to go. To sum up how this applies to you, I will not be on a computer from early Friday morning until Sunday afternoon. So, I have decided that I am going to leave my forum to Llama_guy. Sure he can't have my editor powers, but he can report users who are "out of line". Hell, he already does it anyway. Well, it's out with the old, and in with the new. If you read my last blog, I gave you guys a chance to basically review my blogs. I have to say, skipping levels is really addictive. If you happen to have read my last blog, I briefly mentioned receiving a 310% level increase. Well, that's nothing compared to the one I received today. This evening's surprise level update grabbed me a 438% level increase. So in the past week, I have gone up more then 750% in levels, and completely skipped levels 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, and 30. This is all over now as I am done with last week's submission rampage. That's about it for now.

Over the past five days I have decided to come out of my contribution slump, and start submitting once more. Lets just say that I've done one thousand of them in this time period. Because of this sudden rush, I've gained two new emblems. More specifically, these two...

The first one just comes natural with submitting, but the second one is the one that I am proud of. On Thursday I had a 310% level increase that put me above the level 25 requirement to get this emblem. I still can't believe that I skipped levels 24, 25, and 26. The fact that I have one of the top 500 level scores accross the community makes me really feel like I've done a lot for this place. This puts my emblem count at seventeen, and then there's the one for fifty blogs coming up. That's about it for now.

As many of you know, today the Jericho chat took place here on TV.com. I, myself, am an avid fan of this show, and it came natural for me to join in. And because of this, I even got a new emblem as visible to the right. Anyways, the chat was quite exciting. I was constantly logged into it even since the very first second. And guess what...I'm still logged in there. I have been in there for almost six hours now. While inside, I talked to missribs, and she dared me to stay logged into that chat until the next chat comes...over a week from now. Soon the few that are still in there will log out, and it will be just me...alone in there for a week. That's about it for now. I'll update you on how I do on this dare later.

Alright, on to business. I have just made my one hundredth friend on TV.com. I have been randomly going around the past few days and adding new users to my friends. But hey, I have my one hundredth, and that is all that matters. Well, today might as well be my birthday, because exactly one year ago today (4/26) I joined this site. I have been awaiting this day for a long time, and it is finally here. Truthfully, I would have never guessed I joined that long ago if my profile didn't say this. While I technically joined one year ago, I really joined just ninety-five days ago (1/21). By that, I mean I "went active" on that date. A few days ago, I looked back at one of my first blog entries, and I saw that I wrote down three goals for me: reach 1000 submissions (done), get to level 20 (done), and become editor for one of my favorite shows (done). I guess it is time for three new goals.

Finally the days I have been waiting for for a long time. In about an hour or two from the time I posted this, I am going to be leaving for a much needed vacation. Obviously, this means I am going to be away from computers, which also means I am not going to be on this site for a few days.
