Multiplayer of Fall '08

Some of you may know I got the COD5 multiplayer BETA about a month or two ago and, unlike, some of you guys that are just now downloading the demo off of Marketplace the new factor has worn of on me and it's just a copy/paste COD4 with different weapons and maps. I personally do not feel like redoing what I've already done with an indentical game(COD4) so here is my mulitplayer games I'll be playing this year.

Left 4 Dead: Valve and Co-op is already enough to make me buy anything. They have decided to throw hordes of zombies at you, but with The AI director which will make every zombie encounter new and unique. They've also got the man behind Halo matchmaking working on it for easier co-op matchmaking. Hard to think that the Beta is out tommorow if you pre-orded(If it has co-op on the Beta send me your gamertag and we can play later).

Gears of War 2: GoW had a good multiplayer, but you couldn't join a party and it was incredibly unbalaced. Epic has stated that they will fix these issues and all of the reviews have pointed out it will be great online.(The shotgun is no longer as powerfull so it gives the game a little bit more diversity because you can now use other guns).

Resistance 2:Co-op, 60 player deathmatch and team-deathmatch, and 2 campaigns. Yeah.

I hope that maybe, just maybe, some of you may consider something other than COD5 this year and give something new a chance.

Off-topic: COD5 zombies...can they please just stick to their own formula. And yes, I might be somewhat of a COD hater. DON'T JUDGE ME!!!

Fun Factor > Innovation

I'm not some angry fanboy that's getting all worked up. I honestly don't care about either franchises and I am writing this on behalf of gaming as a whole.

I've been reading a lot of reviews saying Saint's Row 2 is better than GTA4, I've played both(Saint's Row 2 I played at a friends house) and I'm really surprised that gaming's biggest flaws have come down to gamers and that we're the problem for the lack of orginality out in the market today.

Saint's Row 2 has no depth and ends up feeling like a shallow, but fun, kiddie ride that I ended up feeling mocked by because I found dumping sewage on civilians was fun, I don't feel like graphics are important, but it's just a slightly updated version of the last game, and this game lacks any sort of innovation made me feel sick. I always ended up feeling like one of those people that own a car and decide to make it white with gold emblems, the games sense of style was from one of MTV's "wannabe" shows.

But, to top it all of hearing people say,"Flying airplanes is funner than doing one of the missions from GTA4, so Saint's Row 2 is a better game," shows to me(or anybody) how big of a chance BioShock was and why some people think Shoot em' Up was better than The Departed, innovation dosen't matter, the fun factor does.

The Fall of COD's Multiplayer

I was thinking about how succesfull COD4's multiplayer has became and how it came out of nowhere and ended surprising a lot of people. I was wondering that maybe the new COD:WoW would do the same. Why? I've recently read an article about the perks and mods this time around and they seemed promising. Also, the new take on an old concept, and a more gritty look of the pacific theater. So, why is the article topic "The Fall of COD's Multiplayer"? Well, not everyone knows about the fact that this game is trying to make the whole WWII expierence different and that this is the last COD to take place in the setting, but the real big reason is because there are multiplayer games coming out that people are psyched for like: Far Cry 2 (map editor included), LittleBigPlanet, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2, Resistance 2, SOCOM:Confrontation, and Guitar Hero: World Tour, Rock Band 2 and plenty of others. And then you have single-player expirences that will catch peoples attention like: Fallout 3, Mirriors Edge, Dead Space, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Motorstorm, and Borderlands are to name a few.

I'm just wondering if maybe the amount of AAA titles that are coming out will take some of those Veterns of COD:4 to find another game that fits there taste better like SOCOM.

The IGN factor

I've decided that I'm just going to go to IGN.com to get all of thier reviews due to GameSpot being 5 days late with every games realese date and IGN.com being two days eariler. Also, IGN reviews movies, CD's, DVD's, and comics, so that while I check on game reviews I can check those out as well. And GameSpot's review of Mecs 2 pratically confirmed it. The only reason I'm staying here is because I'm a level 20 and I've been with GameSpot for a long time, who knows, maybe if I like IGN enough I'll leave all togther.

F.E.A.R and Resident Evil 4...

I just picked up these two award winning horror action games a little bit ago. Both are scary(even though F.E.A.R blows away RE4 on the quick scares) and are very good games that I've missed out on. But, what surprises me the most is F.E.A.R, I never once thought the game was going to be as scary and intense as it was. By looking, watching, and reading about F.E.A.R around its Xbox 360 realese date I thought it was going to have some scary scenes or some jumps, but I can honestly say that is the most intense and scary form of media I've ever seen or read. Theres just something with it being interactive and that little girl that keeps following you around that makes it stand out. Monolith has got something and I personally like it.

No More Wii Games (That's a Suda 51 pun)

I finally ended up buying No More Heroes, because of the shorting of good Wii titles. I really enjoyed NMH, but after the 11 hours of gameplay it just made me want some other "hardcore" Wii game. I don't know, but I'll probley buy Resident Evil 4 for the Wii and some other Gamecube games like Killer 7(I like Suda 51's games) or Super Smash Brothers: Melee.

I also got to say that with the newly improved GameSpot it seems to be going a lot slower for me, maybe there's higher traffic coming through here or something but I hope GameSpot does something soon.

I also picked up a nifty HD component wire adapter that plugs into all of my consoles and tunnels them through to one set of component wires. O course they can't do this all at once, so you have to select whick console uses the wires with a scroll thing that connected to the rest of the thing, I highly reccomend this to anyone that has all the consoles, but if you also don't have much room on the back of your t.v. I would say to buy immeidietly.

With that new wire set-up I can now enjoy my PS3 in full 1080P and it looks amazing I didn't I would as much inprovement as a did. I actually did the same with my Wii as well and changed it to Widescreen 480P and it looks a lot better as well.

I guess I'm just going to go NMH or R:FoM.

Well, I'm back on and I got a PS3 about a month ago and I really like how the system works and the games I got are great and couldn't imagine not playing them because they are exclusives. Playstation has also got a great lineup coming this winter and early next year. I really like MGS4 na dhas got my vote for not only my favorite third-person game but also Game of the Year.

Two games with 10's= the best year of video gaming

It's amazing that two games have already gotten the almost impossible to get 10. These games are Metal Gear Soild 4: Guns of the Patriots and Grand Theft Auto 4. Entertainment reviewers like IGN.com or even Gamespot.com haven't given any game a 10 for almost, or more than a decade, until 2008. It's only six months into the year and there have already been two games with a 10 rating. I thought that this was an awesome achivement for video games in general and only contributes to the up and coming video game generation that will make its mark in the entertainment bussiness.

Almost There....

I am almost at level 20 and I am almost out of school. I get out of school this Friday, but I don't know how long level 19 is going to take me. I just wanna relax from school and kill some people in GTA4 or slice some baddies up in NG2. I can't wait tell that's all I have to do for 2 or 3 months. I've also been looking for a horror action type game, does anyone have any suggestions?

What I've Been Doing...

I've been playing Team Fortress 2 like there's no tommorow and I've been trying to fit NG2 into my schedule. I love TF2 for the graphic style, team based objectives, and amazing maps. I love how the game makes you cooperate with your team, becuase everybody joined toghter is a strong allience but seperated you are weak and defenseless. The game makes you not so above everybody else and keeps everyone on a good wavelength of activity with eachother. I really can't get enough and now this is like all I play. Except for NG2, which I am playing as much as I can and haveing a blast doing it. The only thing that makes no sense is how GameSpot gave it an 8 when it gave NG: DS an 8.5. I don't know, but it makes no sense either way. Well, I'm going to go play some TF2 if you wanna play some with him just send me an invite or whatever.

Battlefield: Bad Company Demo...

I downloaded the new Battlefield demo and I have to say that it was not only amazing, but reminded me of a much larger and much more destructble COD:4. The games singleplayer demo is great and gives you a feel of what the whole game will be like, but the games online multiplayer demo is what makes this my next buy. It's what you would expect from a Battlefield game, huge areas where helicopters, aircraft, and tanks are all fair game, but with this next-gen installment to the series there is now an incredible amunt of detail and interaction with the enviroment that sourounds you. For example, you sneak up to a building away from the door to get inside and kill some guys; well there is no door so you take out your grenade launcher and blow a hole in the side of the building and jump right through. That is impressive, but now imagine tons of people doing that where explosions are going off every 2 seconds and tanks are driving and domilshing the insides of buiding or helicopters are diving and making huge holes in the sides of buildings that you can use. Rocket launchers are going off, missing their target, and hitting a building right next to you. The game really is fast-paced and I see this becoming a huge sensation online. This will diffiently be my next buy.

A person I hate and Ninja Gaiden's awesomemess

Well, I am almost done with Ninja Gaiden 1 I got about two months ago, but stopped playing it for awhile. It's a great game, but I can't wait tell there are less puzzles, more gore, and less backtracking. All of that will be in Ninja Gaiden 2 which really drives me to finish NG1 eventhough it gets fustrating at times.

The person I hate which anybody who reads this should agree with me is Glen Beck. If nobody knows, he called video game bloggers "losers". I actually started laughing at how freaking stupid this guy is. He calls them "losers" when, not only do most of his listeners probley blog about games, but also because usually video gamers are "nerds" and well, smart. Who is behind the scenes of his station? Most likely, smart people("nerds") that understand how to run a hugely successful radio station. Glen(retard) Beck is making fun of who made this idiot succesfull in the first place. F***KING JERK!(I am a nerd, so I can use it. HAHA)

See you around!

Ninja Gaiden 2 review predictions

Well, of course everybody knows that Ninja Gaiden 2 is coming out next Tuesday and will be the true sequal from Team Ninja from the infamous Ninja Gaiden(Black and Sigma).

So far from the videos I've seen, and I've seen many, the game is ultraviolent and pushes the limits of the M rating. The game is going to get some high reviews and be liked by whoever can take all the blood. Although, IGN has already given Ninja Gaiden 2 an 8.7. But, by this example may the game get some lower reviews than predicted?

Well, I can already tell that Gamespot is probley gonna give it a 9 or higher, but I really can't imagine them giving anything less.

So far it's impossible to tell how good the game is unless your OtakuRay which already has a review on her blog. I feel the game will be liked by gamers a lot like BioShock where if your not into games you don't understand why it's so great. I also feel this game will get some "GTA" publicity and stir up some controversial with all the blood in the game and cutting bodies in half every way you could imagine.

If this game dosen't get a large following, which I doubt it won't, this game will get a massive cult following and will sell millions. I personally will be picking up this game, but I wish the demo would be realesed so I can try it out before the game realeses.

I'll leave everybody with screenshot:Ninja Gaiden 2

Xbox Live is my addiction and some other stuff...

Well, I can't stop playing Halo 3. I started on 5.12.08 and I'm already a grade 3 sargent with a skill of 12. I really can't find this games online mode getting boring, repetitive, or old. Although there are some online games I am not to obsessed with...

...GTA:4 or COD:4 are two of those games. Don't think I don't absolutly love the single player aspects of these two games, but I really just don't like the online multi-player, in my opnion.

In other news I have a new must-have video game coming out next month. Ninja Gaiden 2? No! Alone in the Dark, I really feel like the tech-demos are very impressive and that the game will be a milestone in virtual reality and take games to a new level in realism.

Also, I got There Will Be Blood a while back and haven't even watched it yet. Is it good? Do you agree with the critics that the movie is great? I think I might see it tonight or tommorow night.

Well, that's pretty much it. Thanks for reading. See you around.

Finnaly Got My Xbox Live!

Well, I got Xbox Live four days ago and I can't stop playing Halo 3 and COD:4 with friends. I love the whole Xbox Live Marketplace and the demos feel endless. I also checked out the new gameplay footage of GoW:2 on Live and it looks very impressive. I also loved the Bourne Conspiricy (wrong spelling) demo. Well, I'm going to go play some Halo 3.

I...Don't...Need...Sleep...I Have GTA 4(special edition)

Well, I finnaly got GTA 4 on Thursday, May 1st. I do got to say that the reviews are spot on I really have only one compliant with GTA 4 (Radio can't be turned off and the commercials make me unconfortable). The whole game feels seamless and the reboosted graphics create a world I can actually compare with to huge video game powerhouses like Call of Duty 4 or some other photo realistic game. I really can't get enough of GTA 4 it feels like it's a totally new expirience, like I just started playing any GTA game. It is an amazing game that no one should miss, ever!!.

P.S. The games drunk driving (mini-game) is somewhat funny and does not take it so seriously like some think.GTA Special Edition
