The Fall of COD's Multiplayer
I was thinking about how succesfull COD4's multiplayer has became and how it came out of nowhere and ended surprising a lot of people. I was wondering that maybe the new COD:WoW would do the same. Why? I've recently read an article about the perks and mods this time around and they seemed promising. Also, the new take on an old concept, and a more gritty look of the pacific theater. So, why is the article topic "The Fall of COD's Multiplayer"? Well, not everyone knows about the fact that this game is trying to make the whole WWII expierence different and that this is the last COD to take place in the setting, but the real big reason is because there are multiplayer games coming out that people are psyched for like: Far Cry 2 (map editor included), LittleBigPlanet, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2, Resistance 2, SOCOM:Confrontation, and Guitar Hero: World Tour, Rock Band 2 and plenty of others. And then you have single-player expirences that will catch peoples attention like: Fallout 3, Mirriors Edge, Dead Space, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Motorstorm, and Borderlands are to name a few.
I'm just wondering if maybe the amount of AAA titles that are coming out will take some of those Veterns of COD:4 to find another game that fits there taste better like SOCOM.

No More Wii Games (That's a Suda 51 pun)
I finally ended up buying No More Heroes, because of the shorting of good Wii titles. I really enjoyed NMH, but after the 11 hours of gameplay it just made me want some other "hardcore" Wii game. I don't know, but I'll probley buy Resident Evil 4 for the Wii and some other Gamecube games like Killer 7(I like Suda 51's games) or Super Smash Brothers: Melee.
I also got to say that with the newly improved GameSpot it seems to be going a lot slower for me, maybe there's higher traffic coming through here or something but I hope GameSpot does something soon.
I also picked up a nifty HD component wire adapter that plugs into all of my consoles and tunnels them through to one set of component wires. O course they can't do this all at once, so you have to select whick console uses the wires with a scroll thing that connected to the rest of the thing, I highly reccomend this to anyone that has all the consoles, but if you also don't have much room on the back of your t.v. I would say to buy immeidietly.
With that new wire set-up I can now enjoy my PS3 in full 1080P and it looks amazing I didn't I would as much inprovement as a did. I actually did the same with my Wii as well and changed it to Widescreen 480P and it looks a lot better as well.
I guess I'm just going to go NMH or R:FoM.
I decided to buy a PS3...
Well, I'm back on and I got a PS3 about a month ago and I really like how the system works and the games I got are great and couldn't imagine not playing them because they are exclusives. Playstation has also got a great lineup coming this winter and early next year. I really like MGS4 na dhas got my vote for not only my favorite third-person game but also Game of the Year.
