Moonlight and its fans

As we all know, Moonlight was cancelled by CBS this week. A move that has shocked us and broken our hearts. I have to say that this has been a roller coaster ride of emotions this week. Feeling sad, hurt, lost, angry, frustrated and just down right appalled that this happened. Moonlight meant so much to us. So much, that we joined forums, created myspace pages, and created friendships that I didn't even know were possible. Moonlight was an escape for me and lots of fans. We looked forward to it after a long week and treasured that hour on Friday night that we could escape into another world with Mick, Josef and Beth. It's so easy for CBS and others to say "move on" or "there will be another show" but for us, we're left saddened and lost because Moonlight was the one show we did enjoy. It wasn't just a tv show to me, it was something that gave me hope and something that made me belong. Joining the forum and meeting all the fans has given me something for me. Moonlight established its own family of so many unique and wonderful fans. It has been the greatest thing about being apart of this great show. I have to keep trying to save our show no matter how lost it may seem. Nina can tell it to someone who cares, because I, for one, do not want to walk away without knowing I tried. Please everyone read the "saving Moonight" thread. Print out those postcards and mail them to the addresses in that post. I know tension runs high during these times and we're all angry but lets not put down each other. We are a family, fighting for the same cause. If you don't believe Moonlight is worth fighing for, dont take that hope away from others. They deserve to handle this how they choose. With that said, I hope everyone joins the chat tomorrow night after episode 16 "Sonata." It could very well be our last new episode, so lets be there for support afterwards. My thoughts are with Alex, Sophia, Jason, Shannyn, the rest of the cast and crew! They are the ones that are feeling most lost right now. I hope that if Moonlight does not return, we at least get to see more of them in upcoming projects. They deserve so much better then what CBS gave them.

Long Live Moonlight. You'll always be more then a show to me!
