Hey Peepsies! A quick little bloggy. I'm alive, really. Haven't been on TV.Com regularly lately, been feeling kinda bleh. I think I just caught up on everybody's blogs. I've been wanting to blog, but like I said, been kinda bleh. And..........

Photobucket is being an @$$hat lately. It's taking forever to upload my pictures.

Harper's Island came out on DVD on Sept 8th. :D:D The extras are really good. There's a featurette on how some of the main characters were cast, including Callum Keith Rennie as John Wakefield. It was also interesting to see how each death was "planned" and how the actors were informed when their time was up.

I just watched Season 1 of Dexter. What an amazing show. The writing and the character developtment is spectacular. My father gave the DVD's because he didn't care for the show. I think he's nuts!
My favorite character hands down is Dexter. Although he's a sociopath and has no empathy for his victims he's also very sympathetic because he is physically and psychologically incapable of feeleing emotion and he is bothered by it. He kills evil people because it's his way of feeling emotion, of providing justice. He feels bad because he wants to have genuine love for his girlfriend Rita but cannot. He loves her but does not know how to express it or know if he can actually feel the emotion of love. He lives his whole life performing a maquerade.
I thought the show would be a lot more violent than it really is. To tell you the truth, Harper's Island had a lot more gore. Dexter doesn't need to be gory. The writing, characters and their actions paint the picture. I still have Season 2 to watch and I'm downloading Season 3. :D

The new Fall Season of TV is upon us. A few shows have already started and most will be starting up again in the next two weeks.

The Glee season premire was not as good and the pilot episode shown in May. It was a little allover the place. It seemed like the writers were trying to start too many plots right off the bat. Most surprising was that Finn and Rachel kissed in that episode. Also, Will's wife announced she was pregnant and they were going to buy a very expensive new home. At the end, it was revealed it was a "hysterical pregnancy".
In last week's episode, Terri decided to continue the facade of being pregnant in order to keep Will in the marriage, Will also started an all male acapella group called "Acafellas". Josh Groban made a guest appearance. Mercedes thought she and Kurt were dating. For some reason she didn't realize he was gay And Kurt finally admitted to himself he was gay The Cherrios joined Glee Club at the suggestion of Coach Sylvester. She sent them in to destroy Glee Club from the inside but that may be backfiring. An improvement over the previous episode.

The Vampire Diaries also started two weeks ago. I'm not saying it's the best show out there, but it is catching my attention for the moment. I guess once in a while I need a little dose of teen angst. The basic plot, from what I gather, is that Stefan has returned to Mytsic Falls because his long dead true love seems to have been re-incarnated in Elena. Brother Damon is obviously the black sheep and is all about making trouble for little bro.

Dancing With The Stars Season 9 starts tonight. In fact, I'm writing this blog during the commercials. This year there are 16 celebrity contestants, the most ever. For the first time, each couple will perform two dances during the first week and there will also be a double elimination on Wednesday.

Saving the best for last. SUPERNATURAL! Season 5 started off with a bang with Sam and Dean about to witness the rising of Lucifer. All of a sudden they're whisked off to safety. Bobby gets possesed by a demon and old advesary Meg returns. Lucifer is circling his chosen vessel and Dean finds out he's destined to be the Archangel Michael's vessel. At the end, Dean tells Sam he doesn't trust him anymore and may never again. Angst!
Last week's episode brought back old friends and hunters Rufus, Ellen and Jo. We saw the appearance of the first of the Four Horseman, War, who infected a small town and made them think that demons had invaded. After defeating War, Sam and Dean part ways. Sam felt his blood addiction and Dean's mistrust would hamper their mission. More angst! And how can we forget- Cass: (referring to God) No, he's not on any flatbread.:lol:
A couple of weeks ago I tried my hand at making some icons. Nothing special, I just cropped a few pictures. Three Eric Northman(True Blood), two Dylan Bruno from Numb3rs and one Chuck/Sarah.

That's it for now. I'm getting back to DWTS and Castle is on afterwards.
Later peepsies!

Emiko :D
