So, I've done it. For the first time in my history as a gamer, I have joined the ranks of the current generation technology, while it is still current. That's right, I acquired a Playstation 3, and in a completely nonsensical way! I am sure several of you are aware, or have even participated in Amazon's customer vote. For those not in the know, Amazon takes three items of a similar vein, and has people vote on which item they want a discount for. The winning item receives the advertised discount, while the others receive a slightly lesser discount. Millions of people vote on this thing, but only a select few are chosen to have the chance to purchase an item. Well, I was one of the lucky few. I received an email informing me that I had been randomly selected in the race to buy a PS3 bundle that normally retails at $567, for $200. Now, I am the furthest thing from an impulse buyer, but this was just too great of a deal to pass up. So, I logged into Amazon that night, and just left my computer running, in case of a "virtual line". At 9:30 in the morning, I clicked at to cart, and didn't even hesitate to complete the purchase, as I knew they would go fast. Luck was on my side, and I am now the proud owner of a PS3! The bundle I purchased was the 80gb version, and it comes with LittleBigPlanet, The Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy on Blu-Ray, and a Blu-Ray remote. Now the only trouble is figuring a way to get it down here! Anyways, any suggestions for games I should get would be greatly appreciated!
