Got a temp job + almost broke my tv

I never thought i would see the day, but i will be working at the county fair this year in one of the food trailers. It's kind of weird to think about it, especially since i love going to the fair and eating. Now that i will be working with the food and seeing some of the behind-the-scene stuff before and after the fair closes, i'm afraid it might change my outlook on eating at the fair. Hopefully my outlook doesn't get completely screwed up -_-. I think it will be fun. 11 days of working with those wacky carnival folks; hearing all of the noises and sounds of people vomiting after they've gotten off the Tilt-a-Whirl; the creepy carnival music playing over and over in my head; the smell of burned grease in my clothes...oh yeah, this is going to be awesome

In other news, i finished playing Eternal Sonata...that was a weird game. It was fun, don't get me wrong, but i had a tough time following the story and making connections between the characters and the overall plot. It was definitely a beautiful game to play, but i see what everybody else was saying about the gameplay...it was very linear.

So with that game beaten, i decided to go back to Persona 3:FES since i was at the very end of that game. I ended up beating that one, but still need to play through the Answers to see what's up with Aigis. I'll probably move on to Persona 4 after that.

And i've also been trying to play L4D with one of my friends on expert mode...but good gracious, that thing is stupid hard! We've had a few good runs on the first episode from the first and second check point. Once we start the third area, that's where the bull crap starts to really kick in. The computer starts to send in Hunter after Smoker after Boomer after Tank after Witch and it's just mind blowing how tactical these zombies get. At one point, we nearly made it to the next check point...the "safe spot" was actually in sight. Damn the computer for giving us hope about finally passing the stage because it hurt that much more actually seeing the end. My poor television was about to catch the brunt of my frustration. Needless to say, after such a crushing defeat, we decided to take a few weeks off from the game to gather our self-esteems together again.

So that's it for now. I will be pretty scarce for the next 11 days since i will be doing a 8am - 12am shift between my day job and the fair job. So everybody stay cool

I've seen you playing L4D...I didn't know you were playing co-op though...I'd be up to help out. That game has shamefully been collecting dust in my collection since I don't have anyone to play with.

As for the fair...That sounds awesome. It would be more awesome if it was a full blown carnival, so you would be a temp carney, but it's still awesome.

Dude, L4D on expert is super hard. In fact, when you play it on that difficulty, it stops being fun, and the game being fun is the big reason why I play it.

I passed all L4D campaigns on expert

Took me and my friends about a month though. Between coordinating nights in which to go zombie hunting. This was on PC btw, its to slow on 360

I seriously need to get back to L4D, but I doubt I'd be of any use for you, as I suck in FPSs on extreme difficulties.

Regarding the story of ES, it was very simple & predictable for 75% of the game. But towards the end, I just couldn't follow it. I agree that the game was still an enjoyable experience.

@spazzx625: Definitely shoot me a message if you see me Andy. I have been getting frustrated beyond belief and I can use all the help you can give

@Caddy06_88: No kidding, but it is fun if you are able to overcome the computer's BS. Personally, I enjoy flipping the bird at the tv screen whenever I finish a really difficult play through

@Gallego: Thanks for rubbing it in G

@JustPlainLucas: I think I have more fun laughing at the way the computer sets up traps for me on the expert mode. If you are down for farting around with me anyway, I'm definitely up for it

@venus577: Yeah dude, I was following the story when it was all political and about stopping the emperor or whatever...but man that ending was just weird

Well I hope you have a blast helping out with the fair, sounds like it would be fun. Also glad to know your tv didn't suffer any abuse.
