I know a lot of you may still have these or think I am just out of my mind. I recently placed a bid on Ebay and ended up winning a Sega Game Gear. I know I already have a PSP and you may be thinking "why do you want one of those?" Well, I had a Game Gear when I was a kid and at the time it was the greatest. You could take your games with you. Well when I saw it I thought to myself "I gotta get one again." I love this thing. I also had a Sega Dreamcast years back. I regretted selling it everytime I saw one posted on Ebay. Well, I have one of those now as well. Actually, by the end of the day, I may have 2. My goal is to have 1 of every system and at least 1 cool game for these systems. I know this is nothing but I thought it was funny enough to share. Tell me what you think.

Ok, so I need to rant a little more. I was playing a 3 on 3 last night on NBA 2K9. What is going on. Several times during the time playing I would get a blank screen saying "waiting for opponent". What the hell is up with that. Its almost like these companies are just taking our money and just wasting it. The amount of money we pay for these games you would think they would use some of it to maintain a decent server. Another thing, why the hell can't they fix some of the stupid issues they have with connecting? Not only on 2K9 but other games like Call of Duty: World at War. It just seems like they don't care or thing that noone will care. I know I'm not the first to say it but I am tired of these damn video game companies taking us for granted. Give us a server that works properly and we will continue to buy the games that we like to play.

Please excuse me while I rant for a moment. I'm sure a lot of you have either bought, played or rented Fallout 3 for the PS3. Being the way I am, I just bought it without so much as a test drive so to speak. When I first heard about the DLC that was supposed to be coming out, I was pretty excited. For one, I really liked the game. Decent graphics, lots of side quests and plenty of hours of game play. With that being said, there were a couple of drawbacks to buying this game. I have just recently been made aware that Bethesda Softworks, publisher of Fallout 3, has decided to give the DLC to only XBox 360 and PC gamers. Why does this get my blood boiling do you ask? First off lets look at the DLC. There are a total of three thus far. The first, Operation: Anchorage, is an additional 4-5 hours of gameplay time. Set in Anchorage, Alaska, and it will let players experience the liberation of Alaska from Chinese forces. The second DLC is The Pitt. This one you are in, you guessed it, Pittsburgh. The last one called Broken Steel, has 2 important patches. The first being that the level cap is raised from level 20 to level 30. Pretty cool. The other being that the ending is removed. Why is that important? Whis this DLC it means that even after you have completed the main quest, you can still roam around and complete some of the other side quests that you have not finished yet. Or, like me I just want to try and get the rest of the trophies. But unfortunately, because of Bethesda being in bed with Microsoft, the PS3 owners will not be able to experience this. So like many other upset PS3 owners, this is probably the last Bethesda Softworks game that I purchase. Maybe if enough of us complain and threaten to stop buying their games, it might convince them to change their minds and give us the DLC.

My wife's Dell computer just recently went on the fritz. Some days I couldn't get it to start up. Other days there was no problem. She finally broke down a bought a new Dell. Now I want to try to rebuild the computer but not sure of a place to get good parts for it. I thought someone a while back had some websites to get computr parts but I can't remember who. If any of you know where to get good parts or know of the blog that I speak of, could you let me know?

Boy am I glad to be back. I have got a few things going on in my life right now. First off, I have a new job as you all might know. Some of you might know I have been looking at houses. Today I went and saw a couple houses and put in offer in to buy it. It is beautiful. 3 Bedrooms, a three car garage and best of all a man room. I will be able to play video games whenever I please. Well thats it for now. I am going to hop on the stix now.

Well, here it is. Day three is finally over. How much HVAC can they cram down our throats? Thankfully, only a day and a half to go. There has been nothing to do here but drink. Not complaining about that but I miss home cooked meals, a comfortable bed, my wife and most of all, my PS3. Hopefully, my flight will get in early enough on Friday to hop on the Duty. Unfortunately I have to take a short break from COD4. As I write this I am sitting in the Manchester airport waiting to board my flight to La Crosse, Wisconsin. I will be out there for some training for my new job. But fear not, I will be home and back in the saddle Friday night. I will however be checking online from time to time to see how things are. For all you guys that are having as much fun as I am, sorry I can't join you this weekend on the Duty. I have been making a lot of progress with Uncharted (thanks to several sources)and I don't want to stop while I am on a roll. I am finding this game to be a lot better than I origionally thought. As for tomorrow, it is my wife's birthday so after she comes home from church, I will be spending the remainder of the day with her. If you see me online on COD4, it is not me. My future brother in law wants to finish his game. But fear not, I will be on again later tomorrow night or early Monday morning. Happy gaming.

Just a quick update on my previous blog. After following the advice of several people both on the blog and talking on Call of Duty, I have finally pasted the stupid point on Uncharted. I used a combination of headshots, melee attacks as well as just plain running and gunning. Thanks for the advice. As for Ninja Gaiden Sigma, although I have not yet passed the boss yet, I have come a little closer each time I try. Hopefully I will beat him this weekend.

Now on to a new game... After finally reaching the rank of Commander on Call of Duty, I have decided to go Prestige. Before going Prestige, I was thinking it was going to be easy ranking up in no time. Boy was I wrong. I never gave much thought as to how helpful some of the perks had come to be. Boy do I miss my RPD with the grip. Not to mention my UAV Jammer and the 3 frags.

Well, I'm playing a few games and having some difficulty. Maybe some of you who have beaten these games before can give some advice. The first game is Ninja Gaiden Sigma.. I am at the part where I am on top of the blimp fighting the fat guy. I cannot seem to beat him. I have tried so many times that I have given up. Plus when I was told about Call of Duty, I kind of dropped all games and went right to the Duty. The other game which is going to sound stupid is Uncharted. I am at the part right after the plane crashes and I go over the hill and run into several guys. I tried to take cover and kill them, but when I run out of ammo I have to try and get some. That's where I usually die. I have even tried to sneak around them but always seem to get detected. If anyone can offer some assistance, thanks.
