This in my opinion is the best track on the album. I mean, I love the rest of the album and Nas is as amazing as they come, but this track stands out so much.
"Can we please have a moment of silence......." the timing when the beat kicks back in is perfect. This happens a few times in the song, each time though, the wording is changed slightly and each time the issue involoved is a little more touching than the last.
This brings me onto the point of even lyrically, this track stands out. I would argue that Nas has some of his greatest stuff on this track, let alone the album. You should take the time out to download, even better, buy the album because it's so great.
Oh yeah, a final note.... To all those people who are using phrases such as "I give mad props to Jay Z/Nas/Eminem etc etc" you arn't "Gangstarr" and you should learn to spell. I have read numerous reviews with phrases and spelling mistakes from people like this and it is just plain annoying. There are some serious points being made on this site, and to see these posts greatly diminishes my respect for you people when you try to sound like you're "From the streets".

In short, this album is sick!!! The only song that I didn't really like was the Special Delivery remix. It was far too repetitive for my tastes. Skip past this track and you're soon in clssic P. Diddy territory. The beats come straight at you and theres some of the best artists performing here, you cant really go wrong when theres such masters and voices as Biggy, Mario Winans, Usher, Missy Elliot and Snoop Dogg. All come together to make what I consider to be an almost classic album. :)

When I first heard How You Remind Me on MTV one day and heard how good this album was ment to be I thought "Yea, these sound pretty cool, may as well give 'em a go.".... that was a mistake. I soon found that after listening to the album for around 20 min the songs became repetitve and boring. The riffs seemed never ending and soon it made me want to switch it off. I stuck with it though to the end. Needless to say I thought the rest of the album was awful and Nickelback have received too much credit for it. The only song I can stand to listen to any more from this album would be Too Bad, as I see this as a song which stands out from the rest. The sound and feel of it is highly different from the rest, making it a lot easier to listen to.
Silver Side Up is on my "To Destroy" list, and will probably end up in the clutches of my demonic, but loveable little brother.......... along with a lighter. :p

I never really felt this album. It basically all sounded the same to me and became boring after a while. The songs were great when Eminem was being hyped at the time. I guess without it all, the album just fell into the "Heard it" catergory. The songs themsleves are not bad, just overplayed to some extent. You wont want to listen to this extensivly but will find it pretty appealing short term. The song that really shines out on this album would be Till I Collapse. This song really expresses what Eminem is all about to other rappers and anyone who objects to his style. The song that is done with his daughter is basically just a comedy skit. It doesnt really have a place on this album and just doesnt have the right sound for anything that Eminem does. It is comedy at its worst.
This album is all about taste really, if you are considering this album then first download:
When the Music Stops
Say What You say
Till I Collapse
this is mainly because in my opinion they are the best songs on the album and dont realli belong on this rather dissapointing and boring album.

From the start, this album is promising. The two sides of Eminem are shown in high distiction, from the off we see the more serious side which is normally related to the latest Eminem. Although all this is lost when Can-I-Bitch kicks in and the jokes and disses fly left, right and centre. Eminem kills on this track with Dre and even manages to include the Pet Shop Boys getting run over :p The album ends with what I consider to be the best song on it, Doe Rae Me. This ends the album with a contrast of the two fimiliar Eminem styles, his humor is still there although the seriousness of the song still shows. Overall, this has to be Eminem at his best, although that may cause a few arguments between the more hardcore Eminem fans.
To round it off, you really should go out and buy this album as it makes for those simple Eminem beats that we all know and love as well as still having that unique sound which we all swear by. :)
