Question Mark said an alien gave him this song and that it will be played for years to come. Quirky as that sounds, this is still a great song to this day. Arguably, one of the greatest garage band songs ever written. Even if it was by an alien from outerspace!

I'm a little peaved that in my small tenure spinning discs in the Cleveland goth scene, I was the only one spinning Fields of Nephilim. Someone bitchslap the Cleve goths! This is a great song even for the clubs. Or, sit in the dark, light some candles, and crank away!

Bottom line.....you're not goth if you don't own any Fields of Nephilim! "Moonchild", "Preacher Man", and "Love Under Will" are goth classics. The sound is hypnotic and ultimately brings about the true traditional goth sound. The guitar sound is ghostly and the songs just pull you right in. They went the metal route later which is a shame but I hear they're coming back, perhaps with the old sound (I hope).
