I've Never Heard of You

I Love You Just The Way You Are. But…
I have moved my stats to the top. All those links at the bottom have now moved to a new permanent home titled “burning questions.” See below…
Also, I don’t seem to be suffering from the White Screen of Death anymore. I now get a message that say, “I’ve never heard of insert name here” While I am glad they have an error message now, this doesn’t seem very user friendly. Has anyone else been getting this message? If so, do you like its wording or do you have a better suggestion?

While I am in the mood for Top Ten Lists…
Harrison Ford is one of my all time favorites. This is not really a Top Ten because I have lumped his multi-movie roles into a single entry.
1.Star Wars Trilogy: Han Solo. I need say no more.
2.Indiana Jones Trilogy: Give him a fedora and a whip and this dude can find some mean ancient artifacts.
3.Blade Runner: I liked this movie when it wasn’t cool to like this movie. For my money, the director’s cut with the cool synth music is the way to go.
4.Apocalypse Now: I love the smell of this movie in the morning. It is a good movie that Ford just happens to be in.
5.The Fugitive: He made this movie good with a guy with one arm tied behind his back.
6. Jack Ryan Double Bill: Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger put Tom Clancy on the map. Oh, there was that sub movie. Of course, if they wanted to kill the franchise, they could always add Ben Affleck.
7.What Lies Beneath: Is he a good guy? Is he a bad guy?
8. Air Force One: Best President named Harry since Truman.
9.Witness: Excellent contrast between good clean living and hard city life.
10.Regarding Henry: A really good “The worst thing that ever happened to him” is “The best thing that ever happened to him” story. Kleenex worthy.
Honorable Mention: Frantic, Working Girl, Presumed Innocent, and Sabrina
Dishonorable Mention: K19:The Widowmaker, The Mosquito Coast, Six Days Seven Nights, Hollywood Homicide, and Random Hearts
What are your thoughts on Harrison Ford?
People’s Choice Awards
The final round of voting for the People’s Choice Awards is now open. Here are today’s picks:
Favorite Family Movie:Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was really good but didn’t quite rise to the level of a classic. However, neither Chicken Little nor Madagascar gave it run for its money.
Favorite Movie: Star Wars: EPIII narrowly beats Batman Begins because of its last fifteen minutes. Hitch seems like an “also ran” in this category.

Comments
I'm also a big fan of Harrison Ford and I agree with your Top Ten.
Me: Harrison, I love you.
Harrison/Han: I know.
I too love Ford what an actor,,,,
Hugs,
Mary
I like your burning question. My question is how the heck do you put a link in a picture? I know Stig does it and now you! That is so cool!
PS I love Harrison Ford. My favorites of course are Star Wars, Jack Ryan (love Tom Clancy books) and Indiana Jones. I thought that What Lies Beneath should go into the dishonourable mentions. Just my opinion.
Me, I'm a little more secure in myself. I know I'm here, regardless of what tv.com says. But I think that they should change it - like what Cali said would be good.
And I love Harrison Ford!
It's not really that funny. I like a little dark humor myself - which can get you in trouble if you're not careful - but that just seems wrong somehow. They missed the mark on the funny.
I like Harrison Ford but I don't really go watch anything because he's in it or anything. I don't even own the dvds for any of his movies - not even Star Wars. I'm not sure why. Just haven't gotten around to getting them I guess.
What I want to know is, who is this "I" in the “I’ve never heard of..." Is TV.com a living entity? Or is the evil Howdy Doody causing mischief once more?
I love Harrison Ford. Witness is my favorite for personal reasons. My dad volunteers at the Strasburg Railroad Museum and a lot of the scenes where filmed there in Strasburg and surrounding areas here in PA.We had a lot of fun watching the film crews, but I was never brave enough to approach anyone. Being from Philly my favorite line was Kelly McGillis yelling to Harrison Ford:
"You said we would be safe in Philadelphia!"
Harrison Ford:
"Yeah,I was wrong."
I've seen 7 of 10 and loved them.
And yes, I am quite insulted when I want to go to my profile, and I get the screen that says, "I've never heard of cindy_in_cda". Really? And I spend HOW MUCH time on this site? Argh!
I like Harrison Ford and have seen most of his films.
I love the "How did I get so shiny" question on your burning questions list.
And as for a TV.com error message, I suggest "I'm sorry, but I'm having a temporary freak out. I have no idea what's going on. You could stick around and muddle through all this mess or you could go to one of my sister sites. I'd go with the latter."
Danasdude, you should have a poll to determine what TV.com's next error message should be. And if you really want to see the current error message you can go to your current profile and put a 1 at the end of your SN in the URL.
