Everything Changes

A Good Day for Jack Bauer

Well, as some of you are aware, I have been occasionally lurking on the site. The lurking has consisted of checking my mod queue and moving on to other things. My total computer time on most days is 10 minutes or less and TV.Com has been getting just a passing glance. Saturday, I checked my queue and it was overloaded with submissions for Kiefer Sutherland. I went through those as per my duty as editor. All of the submissions enabled this person to overtake the editorship. Best wishes to MrOzzy on the guide. I am sure the guide will now receive the attention it deserves.

My Time

Since my time is limited, I have been mostly checking sites for information on the shows that I watch. This means I have been using the sites as sources of information only. Sadly, my time as a member of the community is almost zero.

Did I miss my opportunity?

Did I miss my opportunity to say goodbye to the Links Union? Somehow, all the old blogs disappeared along the way. Also, the blue boxies have been put out to pasture. They have vastly improved the whole icon thing from the looks of it. Wasn’t the whole point of the blue boxies that the users wanted more than the site was offering? Apparently, they got the message and improved. This is always nice to see.

October 20: Bold Paragraph Titles Debut

October 22: First Editorship: Kiefer Sutherland and Joined Cult of the Named Butterfly

October 25: First Blue Box and Star Wars Banner Debut

October 27: First question appears in red

November 3: My 2nd editorship: Dennis Haysbert

November 6: Links Union Opening Ceremony

November 10: Trusted User: Neil Gaiman. First Blog with Multiple Emblems inside the Blue Box

Where to from here?

Now that I am one guide down, I have one less reason to visit the site. As time goes along, I would like to come back by and say hello, however.

I hope that everyone is doing well, and I wish everyone the best.

Since I've already chatted by PM, there is not much to add here. You are missed, and things did change without you. You are always welcome back though, even if only once in a while.

Yes, the blue boxies became a little irrelevant (they listened and added most of it to the site), but I still use mine as a place holder in time, instead of informing people of where I'm at. To a vastly lesser extent, the CotBB will live ... a limpin life, but it will live.

Thanks for the history. I don't know where your blog entries went, although most people still have their full history. Sometimes you just have to advance yourself to the next page (a nice bug).

Oh, you didn't miss the bug-fest though. It's still on-going.

Untill next time :-)

DD, it's so nice to hear from you, even if it means you're possibly saying goodbye. =( Hopefully you can find time every once and a while to stop by and say hi. =)

Ooooh, you're alive! Hi!

Reiteration of what Im2Crazy4U, calicow and cindy_in_cda said, times two!

If it's not tooo hard, I'm sure everyone(myself included) would be glad to hear from you, from time to time.

Good to see you, DD!

Hi DD. It's nice to see you. I'm glad that things are going well in your life. You are missed. Well, I guess you know that from the Superlatives award.

I miss you, DD. It feels like the community is growing smaller every day, so don't give up on us and blop by when you can. Hope everything is going well for you. Sounds like you have a busy time with all the duties you listed in the previous blog.

Hey DD, it is great to hear from you again! Yes the boxies are gone but I have done my best to keep the "less than official" emblems alive in my blog. I post them with great pride. I am thinking of naming them "Retired Emblems".

Please come by just to say hi! It is always nice to hear from you! Hope your famiy is well!

Great to hear from you! I guess I'm glad you're staying busy, but (like everybody else already said) we do miss you.

Danasdude, you were indeed one of the people here that pulled me into everyday blog. I'm serious. You had a very big influence on us, on the community, and on the site. I'm sure that in all that time that you were away, TV.com still remained in your head, popping in from time to time.

Lately, I've come across your blogs again. They were always an invention, and they will always be. I saw you online from time to time, but didn't understand quite why you weren't writing.

You are missed, no doubt. But I hope, and I'm happy that you enjoy your life. Just don't forget us!

Yep, we all miss you very much. And now that you mention it the loss of the boxies and other stuff we used to have/ be able to do here, it's actually sad. We got new other stuff to do, but different.

Hope to see you around :-)

I'm glad to hear things are going well for you. We miss you but we do realize that life can get in the way.

I don't blog much myself anymore. There's always something shiny to do in the real world. I just try to pop in from time to time to let my friends know I'm still alive.

Stop in whenever you can. We're always glad to hear from you.
