Versus Session 7's Results

Hello everyone

A few days ago I wrote a versus session about Traditional RPGs VS Action RPGs, and now I'll announce the results of the voting:

Action RPGs: 3 votes

Traditional RPGs: 2 votes

It seems like people are more into Action RPGs, but 5 votes is not enough to decide

Well I'll write my opinion now:

In my opinion I like Action RPGs more than traditional. I like traditional RPGs too, and I like them a lot but I love seeing the action in Action RPGs; that's probably the most important reason for me liking the Action RPGs .

About the next Versus Session it will be...

***SPOILER***

That's all for today

Stay tuned until the next session

Until then, take care

Versus Session 7 (Traditional RPGs VS Action RPGs)

Finally we're back with the Versus Sessions and this is Session number 7!

Today the match is between two types of RPGs which are the most types that we play and like the most.

First of all I'll talk about the Traditional RPGs:

Traditional RPG is a famous genre of RPGs and we see a lot of games that are Traditional. My first experience with a traditional RPG was FFVII. FFVII was one of the best RPGs and will still remain as the best RPGs of all times. In Traditional RPGs the fun comes in the combination of skills, magics and all that stuff you have. There is not much action in Traditional RPGs but it depends on the game. Like in FFXII it's like a mixture of Action and Traditional RPGs so that's a different story. Also in Traditional RPGs you have full conrol of all your characters which is one of the important pros of Traditional RPGs. And also there is no "Button Mashing ".

That's all I can think of in Traditional RPGs, if there are any points I haven't covered please tell me

Now let me talk about Action RPGs:

My first Action RPG was Kingdom Hearts I, in Action RPGs you don't have full control of all your characters, you can only give them strategies and give them commands. In Action RPGs there is a lot of more action that Traditional, it's true some might call them Button Mashing. But the fun comes in all of the combos that you make and see. For example, the combos in Kingdom Hearts II were really great I sometimes don't get what's happening I only see slashing and smashing , especially in Sora's forms. As well as Tales series, I liked Abyss's gameplay the most, because it has the most action among the others ( I still haven't played Vesperia, so I don't know anything about it XD).

And that's about the Action RPGs

And now its your turn to vote for who you like the most

And in the next blog I'll write my opinion and announce the next Versus Session and put on this session's voting results

That's all for today

Folklore Finished!

I've finally finished Folklore. It was such a great game it definitely deserves more than 7, at least 8.5. I give it 9

The final boss wasn't really hard but it was annoying and took some time to kill. He killed me once XD.

I liked the ending but there is one thing I didn't understand. For those who didn't play it DO NOT READ this spoiler.

***SPOILER***

Tell me your answer in a PM so that you don't spoil it to others who will read the comments .

That's all for today

My score: 7.5/10

- Hustle & Flow

My score: 7.5/10

- Meet Bill

My score: 7/10

- Juno

My score: 7/10

Games:

Finished Games:

1- Rogue Galaxy

Total Playtime: 55 hours

Rogue Galaxy was the only game I played this month, it was a really great RPG that shouldn't be missed for any RPG fan. It has a great story, but it started getting interested in the second half of the game, but still it was great. A fun and interesting gameplay, but with some flaws. In the end this game is great

My score: 9.0

Currently Playing Games:

1- Disgaea DS

Current Playtime: 12 hours (Episode 4 - 2)

I played this game on the PS2 before, but I didn't finish it. Now since it's out on the DS I decided to play it, and so far the game looks really good.

2- Secret Agent Clank

Current Playtime: Around 5 - 7 hours

I play PSP games on my bro's PSP, and recently my bro is playing it so I haven't played it for a while, but the game looks great. It's funny and has a lot of stuff you can do besides the story.

3- Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario World 3

Current Playtime: World 5 - 6 (I don't know the playtime XD)

I played it before, but on the Emulator on the PC. And I was using the Emulator's save where you can save everywhere . So I didn't have much fun with it before and I decided to play it again and not saving everywhere and so far it is really hard .

4- Folklore

Current Playtime: 10 hours (Chapter 6)

I am actually surprised why GS gave this game a score of 7. I'm close to finishing the game and it is really great. It has a great story; involving murders and uncovering your own past and discovering your true self. The story has a lot of twists in it that will definitely give you this expression. The gameplay is fun as well, but you will probably get bored playing at the same place with two different characters. But still the Folks that you encoutner are different to each character, some are the same but will perform different attacks that the other character's Folks. The Folks are the enemies that you encouter, and suck their souls and use them to fight.

5 - Crysis: Warhead

Current Playtime: Around 3 - 4 hours

More action than before. That's all I have to say about it

Games playing next:

Next Console Game:

- I'll probably play Ninja Gaiden: Sigma

Next handheld Game:

- I haven't decided yet

Drawings:

There are no drawings for this month either XD

Books:

Still on page 61 on Harry Potter: And The Half-Blood Prince. It's been two months and I haven't read anything XD

New Acquisitions

Games:

Others:

Logitech Desktop Cordless Mouse & Keyboard: EX110

Mangas Read:

No mangas XD

Animes Watched:

- Chrono Crusade

My score: 9/10

- Basilisk (Ep 15)

Versus Sessions are back with a few additions!

I'm sure the people who've been keeping track of my versus sessions have missed them it's been a while since I've been busy with the Characters Tournament.

But now I'm going to keep writing more and I'm going to add a new addition.

From the versus sessions I made I found that some people didn't like my opinion about who wins so I decided this time to write about the two competitors and then leave a vote and see what you guys think should win and in a next blog I'll anounce the winner according to the votings and then I'll say my opinion. So does that sound better?

If you guys have any other ideas tell me

That's all for today and my next session will be ..

***SPOILER***

Until then

Take Care..
