Shin Megami Tensi

Shin Megami Tensi is a great RPG series developed by the difficulty freaks (Sorry Atlus ) but seriously, they always make really hard games. I've started playing Shin Megami Tensi: Devil Survivor, I admit the game is great, unique battle, a good and vague story so far, it's what we always get from the series.

The games I've played by Atlus were Persona 3 and Persona 4 (Not yet finished). And I am waiting for more games from them, I really hope that they make Persona 5, I think Atlus's most successful RPG yet is the Persona series. It has an amazing story filled with great characters, emotional moments and as well as some really hilarious moments.

There is a rumor that Persona 5 will come to PS3, but it's not confirmed yet. Do you think that Atlus is really working on a game on PS3?

*Time to play Devil Survivor a little *

I just hope I don't get to the point where I'd want to throgh my DS on the wall and smash it with a hammer and then toss it in a furnace, and no wonder what I'll do after that

Machinarium Impressions

It's hard to believe that someone actually heard of this game. My brother told me about it and a site gave it a 9/10. It's a PC 2Dpoint-and-click game. Made by an individual developer called Amanita Design.

The graphics is really good, simple but still great. The music seems to be promising, I am still in the beginning of the game but I am liking it very much. It is very difficult, it actually has a built-in walkthrough but I don't find it fun to read the walkthrough, but you have to finish a little adventure with a ... flying key that shoots.. small ball-like bullets and kill some jumping thingies and reach a keyhole.. a weird but funny way to unlock the walkthrough in the area you're in

I usually try to solve things myself but if I'm really stuck I read it. The puzzles are really innovative, and clever. I admit it's hard and will take you plenty of thinking and squeezing your mind to solve things but once you do you will be amazed of the solution.

I highly recommend this game to ANY point-and-click fan out there. I have yet to explore the world and I'm sure I have plenty of hours to go, but I am really loving it so far. And I'm.. stuck

Go try the game out!

My Emblems (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)

Hello again everyone

And here is another review I made for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This time I followed Thomas_Crown's advise and change the background, it should be better now and the font is much clearer to read than before. Enjoy

I hope you like my review

And I would really like to hear some suggestions this time

Until next time, take care

Videogame Heroes

Most videogames have heroes, and each hero has fans. After this competition on Gamespot it seems many Nintendo fans were upset that Link lost to Gordon and Mario will probably lose to him as well.

What I would like to say is that unfortunately people see the heroes based on the game itself, Mario is definitely a legend.. in gaming. But what about the character himself? His personality? What's his role in his games?

I think choosing or voting for a hero should be based on the character not the videogame. Take the character himself and see his background, his personality... etc. I am sure that many people do like Amaterasu as a hero (Okami) but we don't see many people talk about him, just because the game didn't sell much and wasn't as famous as Mario or Zelda games it doesn't mean the hero should be banished and not recognized as much as the other heroes.

The point of all this, is that the game itself should not influence the hero of the game, if the game is famous / legend, it doesn't mean the the hero must be a legend and should always win competitions. Other heroes should also be given a chance.

My Emblems (Grim Fandango) + Game of The Year?

Hello again with another (My Emblems) review

Today I will talk about Grim Fandango, an adventure game made by Lucas Arts on 1998, and got the Game of the Year award from Gamespot.

The last time I posted about FFVII I really faced some problems with writing the blog, like my text is being black but the default font color should be white, but if I choose white the text doesn't appear. If I choose black, the text is not that clear. So I just decided that from now on I'll posting these kind of reviews in a picture I made on Photoshop. I'll use the same background for every other review and the same order and everything.

And before I start I'd like to thank alidallal for suggesting this game to review it

So if you have any game in mind that you would like to see what kind of Good/Bad Emblems I'd give it, I'm not saying that to follow my opinion, but just to say what it really deserves. Make sure to check my ratings before suggesting anything so it's a game I played and it was before the new review system, since it doesn't matter because already GS would have give it Emblems.

Anyways, enough chit-chat. Here is My Emblems review:

And that's the review, I hope you find it helpful oh and as you see, there are no bad emblems since the game doesn't deserve any

As for the second part of my blog, I just saw GS's review for Uncharted 2. After I saw all the other site's reviews I was expecting the 9.5 from GS. I can see that the game contains every element a game needs to be perfect, except it seems it's somehow short. It has a great story, outstanding gameplay, and competitive multiplayer. So I think Naughtydog has just released it's masterpiece, and maybe this year's best? 2 Game of the Awards for Sony, that's such a good accomplishment for them, I can see that Sony is climbing the tree of being the best console and trying to reach the top, it might not be the best selling console, but without a doubt it has the best games this year.

Go Go Sony! You'll always be the best system developer to me, sorry but Sqaure-Enix take the spot of the best developer

And that's all for today

Make sure give me some suggestions for reviews, if I don't see any I'll just pick a random game and I'll post it in a couple of days.

Until next time, take care
