It was a rocking crowd! I'm in love with Adam Levine! (I'm 62, but he can have more than one grandma) I danced at my seat (along with the rest of the crowd) while my granddaughter laughed at me. I was totally impressed by the musical ability shown by each band member: each was showcased during the set. When I thought the show was over, Adam brought out a small drum set & demonstrated additional talent. He can really riff his guitar, too. I had no idea what to expect or who they are, until the last 2 songs, Maroon5's radio hits (She will be loved...). OK, they've been to MTV music awards & Madison Square Garden. What's next? I'd say a bigger arena, more well-deserved hits.

Let me not forget to mention that the lighting and graphics on the Huge M in Stage Center were arranged by a genius. I just hope the Hives watched & took some lessons. GREAT job, Maroon5!

The Hives have energy and good style, audience appeal, & good musical technique. However, Hive is not polished as compared to Maroon, which has all the difference. They do need some choreography. Roadie had to keep running out on stage to move the microphone cables. Lead guitar was all over the place. The other guitarist did not even look like he was playing, or as if he had to look at his strings to see what he was playing. The Singer tends to yell, not sing... but he looked good, cute, made faces, looked like he was having a lot of fun. They did play to the audience and paid some attention to the fans.

Tick, tick, tick, tick... Yeah, after they polish up, they should explode!
