rated highly by the likes of jayz, fat joe, and nas as an instant legend, big l's life to superstardom was well on its way. whoever took it might not have known this, but among the big l fans, he took away much more than just a life, he took away a large part of what hip-hop was truly about. with such tracks as "ebonics"; no endz, no skinz, da graveyard, and many more which helped solidify his status, big will always be remembered for his hardcore lyrics and liiquid flow. he was also known among his friends and fans for his uncanny ability to 'spit fire from the top of the dome', thus earning him the title "undisputed king of freestyle", which im sure even jayz can attest to on account of the 1997 freestyle bout between himself and big l. undoubtedly one of the greatest, big l will be truly missed.

"yeah man wah u a seh man" assassin truly is the man, with number one hits such as 'As a man'; 'Idiot ting dat'; 'Dont like u'; 'Girls Gone Wild'; and 'step pon dem', all featured on one well put-together album, this one is, for wants of a more descriptive word, EXPLOSIVE. Assassin's uncanny ability to hit u from all directions, whether it may be dance tunes, tunes for the ladies, or straight up hardcore dancehall vibes, has earned him a spot among dancehall legends such as Supercat, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, and not to mention his teacher and mentor, Spragga Benz. As the album title proclaimed, Assassin infiltrated the dancehall world with infectious lyrics; superb delivery; and an astounding display of versitility. This one will be talked about for years to come.

yow Can-i-bus was the first canibus album i bought and this thing had me hooked. big up to canibus representing for the yardies. without a doubt the greatest lyrisist of all times and this One sealed the deal. with its ravishing delivery and uncanny metaphors, Can-i-bus is promised to please. Nowhere else can u find deeper, more intellect tingling lyrics than the Einstein of rap himself CANIBUS. Being his first mainstream album, he sure started big with this one featuring favourites such as, nigganometry; i honour you; buckingham palace; channel zero; and the controversial battle track "second round ko" featuring Mike Tyson himself. Despite the weak reviews previously made,it is nothing short of a masterpiece among true canibus fans such as myself.
