Top 75 Posters

Since msudude hasn't been around for some reason and there needed to be a few people added to the list I decided to do the update for my board since some users were asking for it. I finished it a few days ago but have been busy with offline things and catching up on some boards last night so I didn't get a chance to blog about it until now. If you would like to take a look then here is the link for you. GameSpot's Top 75 Posters November 2009.

I'm feeling like netflix today so I won't be bouncing around the boards today but if you'd like to have some conversation I'll be at my UCB keeping an eye on it while watching my shows on Netflix. I may make some rounds later on depending on my mood and what's going on, otherwise see you around my UCB in between watching some Netflix and doing a few more loads of laundry. Here is the link to my User Created Board in case you don't already have it for your convenience. -

Mysterious Mistress

There are girls on the internet, and some of them actually come here. Although there are definitly alot more guys here at GameSpot than there are girls I'd like to do a blog about one of the few female posters that post at my UCB. MistressMinako who has a UCB of her own called Mina's Mansion. I don't know this user very well because she started posting at GameSpot when I was on break from here getting over a break up. But she's nice and easy to talk to. She's in her early 20s (A gentleman never reveals the actual age ) and she seems to like to post as much as some of us guys do, which is really rare since I can think of only 2 other female users here that have high post counts. She prefers talking on the phone over texting or posting and she loves cheesecake and has a good, healthy sense of humor even if sometimes it's hard to tell if she is serious or just b.s.ing me. But she's a confirmed female user here (I have saw pictures and saw her on webcam, fully clothed for the record you pervs ) so if you see here around, give her a hey and tell her you read this blog about her the other day and that she now owes you $5 for taking the time to read this about her.

There you go Allie, now there's a blog about you as well so now you should know to be careful what you ask for. Anyways, I'll be around most of the day in between the many loads of laundry that I have to do but by tonight it'll be all completed. This weekend went fast as do most of them and I go back to work tomorrow, then have Tuesday off so I'm in my short stretch of work right now, but when I go back to work on Wednesday it will be 7 straight days of it before having another day off so I guess it all evens out. Hope all of you had a good weekend as well and I'll see you around the boards.

All Hail Kale!

This blog is dedicated to a user that I have known a long time on here and is one of my Mod's at my UCB. Of course this user is known as The_Zoid. His name is Kale, most users that know him know that already. He's a friendly user, and I have never saw him say an unkind word to anyone. He enjoys playing Guitar Hero and then talking about it for hours on the forums bragging about his uber skills. But on a serious note, if you don't know this user you should make an effort to do so because he really is a nice guy and it's sad that he can't be around much now days because life tends to get busy sometimes, but he's still a valued user IMO and I always look forward to having him around. So if you see him around the boards (he posts at a variety of places when he is online) make sure to say hello and give him a few minutes of your time and odds are he will grow on you as he has me.

Now that Kale has his few minutes of fame on my blog I shall give you a quick update on myself. Things are good, I went out last night and drank way too much booze, but it was worth it because I had a great time and I surprisingly don't have a hangover. I have the weekend off so I'll be online a while today but I don't know yet if I am going out later or not, I'll not that for sure later on, but if nobody calls me and wants me to go out drinking I think I'm just going to be lazy online and take it easy and save some money. But we'll see, only time can tell. I'll be checking out some blogs before going to my UCB and catching up there since I have several days behind so keep an eye for some comments. Otherwise I'll see you around and I hope everything has a great weekend and things are well for everyone. Take care and thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

From the heart...

I've been here a long time, not as long as some users sure, but I've put in the time and the miles on here. I've saw alot, done alot on here and I don't mean just post count either. I come to GameSpot because I love to meet new members, get to know new members and to talk with those that I already know. Over that time I have come to know (IMO) many great users here.

From jakeboudville, 2ndWonder, 3DayFinisher, andyxm, blackleech, blackrytonite, canana, Canuck3000, certifieddata, ChaosRyder665, Cougarhart61, Cutekitten6_18, DanC1989, darksword1123, deathskitten, Devvy01, DrSponge, ElBanano216, enormousaxie, fastesttruck, ff7fan2, freakyzeeky1986, funkadelichika, GameFreak315, horgen123, IonescoF, julian_jr, KHfanboy2, LJS9502_basic, Lord_Daemon, megagene, zakkro, to MoonFoxx.

All those users and many more, from the first post with them have made me feel like family here. I was sitting here looking at my UCB and thinking about all the good times we used to have there and thinking to myself... "Why should it come to an end?" It's been a long road, from some users leaving, some less active, to myself taking several months off. Still, contrary to some, GS is still a great place, I love it here, and I miss that family feeling.

So, if you want to be a part of my GS family, and help to make a place that was once great that way again then come to my UCB and make your own place there, I can't do it alone, so I hope to see you there.

Brownies...

So here I am, making a blog 2 days in a row... surprising huh? Yeah, it is to me as well. I doubt I will keep up with making one every day but I do hope to stick with this blogging thing a little more and using the features of this site a little more than just for posting when I am around. (Although don't get me wrong, I still love to post. ) I've also been trying to comment on other user's blogs more over the past few days as well, also something I haven't been very good at doing in the past. Who knows, maybe one of these nights coming up I will make a video blog for old times sake as well. Also something interesting, to me at least ( ), I might even go check out the News section on GS since I haven't done that in forever as well and see what I have been missing out on.

Now to the name of this blog, why is it named Brownies you may ask yourself? Well, because I fixed a girl from work's laptop for her for free because her little brother messed it up and she needed it for school but couldn't afford to get it fixed by someplace before she needed it again. So I decided to be a nice guy and fix it for her for free since her birthday was coming up I told her just to consider it an early birthday present. But she has decided to bake me some brownies for fixing her laptop for her, so not a bad deal IMO. I wish more people were like that now days. Someone does something nice for you, you do something nice for them in return. Of course that's not why I was nice in fixing her computer, I didn't expect or want anything in return but it's good to know that there are still others around that think that way as well. Where most others would have just said thanks and never done anything in return or mentioned it again she decided to make the fat guy some brownies for his trouble. Which is really sweet, although she doesn't know that I don't like brownies because I didn't tell her that because she seemed really happy to be doing something in return for me helping her out. (Those that know me better know that I don't care for alot of junk food) But it's all good because I have a little sister that loves brownies so I will just give them to her when I bring them home from work and she'll be all happy about that.

It's little things like this that make the world a great place IMO. Sure there is alot of bad things going around, especially in today's world, but taking the time to notice and appreciate little acts of kindness like this is what makes me look forward to the future in today's world. Anyways, before I end up writing a short story here I should wrap this thing up huh?

All is well with me, and I hope all is well with everyone here too. Work is over with, soon the housework will be completed and I will be coming to the forums for a little posting before taking my nightly shower and watching some netflix before bed. So overall, today was good and I'm hoping for more of the same tomorrow. So next time you have the time to do something nice for someone you know, or don't know for that matter, take the time and help them out because who knows, maybe making them feel better will make you feel better as well.
