"Thomas" Forum Concerns

To all "Thomas" forum members, I have read Duckfan8's latest blog about problems on the forum. I am now taking this into account because nobody wants this forum to go downhill again. I must also say that I'm sorry if I'm not putting much effort into keeping the forums free of all these problems, as other members are doing this instead. It's nice that they are taking care of the forum as well, but I feel like I should be dealing with these issues along with them more so than before. I must admit, I don't usually check all of the latest posts because I trust the forum members to be mature and post sensibly, but it's about time that I should change my ways. I still care about the state of the forum for you guys even if I haven't let out my voice out for quite some time now. If you have any concerns and problems about the forum, and want to suggest ideas for improvement, please PM me.

Good News/Bad News

Well, the title says it all. Good news first, my braces have finally come off! That's right. My teeth look nice and I can go back to my old diet.

As for the bad news, besides getting a vaccine shot for Hepatitis A (which wasn't too bad), the cat scratching my right arm accidently, and the amount of school and Scout work that I have, I'm very sorry to hear about all the bad stuff that Charlie has to deal with. These problems really are painful from the sound of it, but you do have to hang in there Charlie. Like what Ronnie said, you don't deserve these bad things in life and you don't deserve to suffer. Also, life isn't all a walk in the park, as everyone has to put up with personal obstacles and problems in their lives. Maybe not right now, but it does happen. And it would certainly be a shame to lose you now. Just give it some time, and see what happens. Might as well give you a phone call this weekend, if you're up for it.

Remember Charlie, Ronnie, I, and all your friends here at TV.com truly care about/for you.

Survey.

After reading the latest surveys from both Charlie and Ronnie, I decided to take the latest survey myself.

1. How tall are you barefoot?

A mediocre 5' 7.5".

2. Have you ever smoked heroin?

Nope.

3. Do you own a gun?

Yes. A .22 semi-auto. rifle. (I can't remember the type of rifle, but I own it nonetheless)

4. Who's your best friend?

At the moment, both Ronnie and Charlie. I'm not joking. I can't imagine my social life now without them.

5. Do you get nervous before "Meeting the parents"?

If that's for girlfriends, than I must say that I haven't experienced that yet.

6. What do you think about hot dogs?

Good to have whenever you need to cook something easy.

7. What's your favorite Christmas song?

Ringo Starr's "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".

8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?

Whatever juices there are in the fridge. Particularly apple.

9. Can you do push ups?

Yes, but the number of them that I can do varies, depending on the mood that I'm currently in.

10. Is your bathroom clean?

Yes, but not for long.

11. What's your favorite piece of jewelry?

Can't think now about whether I do own any jewerly or not.

12. Do you like painkillers?

That depends on the kind of painkiller.

13. What is your secret weapon to lure the opposite sex?

Don't have one for now. When I do I'll tell ya.

14. Do you own a knife?

I do own a pocketknife.

15. Do you have ADD?

No.

16. Middle name?

Scot. (Yes it's one "t", not two)

17. Name three thoughts at the exact moment:

-Hoping Charlie will get better

-Explaining to Charlie that I'm sorry for not calling him before last Thursday and why that's so (and I hope he understands)

-The fact that I must catch up on reading "The Andromeda Strain"

18. Name the last three things you bought:

-I can't remember well, but I think they were all things that I bought when I was coming back from Baltimore (which are all McDonald's food)

19. Name three drinks you regularly drink:

-Milk, Juice and Hawaiian Punch (I'm off of soda for good by the way)

20. What time did you wake up today?

Around 8:40 am (I had to walk my sister's dog).

21. My own question: Is all of my homework out of the way?

For now.

22. Current worry? - Can't think of any, except for Charlie's state of health

23. Current hate?

I'm working on an I-movie project for health class and I have to work with a f*cked up group once again (mainly with one of the **** from Advisory. I always have to be in the group with people that I refuse to work with. I makes me so angry! )

24. Favorite place to be?

Somewhere near a computer

25. Least favorite place to be?

Advisory class (important issues in school to talk about, bad students to talk about the issues with, since they say the gayest crap. I deserve better people in my social life.)

26. Where would you like to go?

Somewhere away from State College and the problems that I have here.

27. Do you own slippers?

Yes, but they are at my mom's house.

28. What are you wearing?

Blue jeans and a Boy Scout t-shirt under a gray sweater.

29. Do you burn or tan?

Both. Depends on how long I've been exposed to in open sunlight.

Green, Blue and Orange

31. Would you be a pirate?

Maybe.

32. Last time you had an alcoholic drink?

Never had one.

33. What songs do you sing in the shower?

I rarely sing in the shower.

34. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?

The Cookie Monster. I'm not joking. He scared the sh*t out of me when I was little. The "Sesame Street" that I watched was most likely pre-90's, when political correctness didn't stand in the way.

35. What's in your pockets now?

Nothing.

36. Last thing that made you laugh?

Some parts of the movie "Duel"

37. Best bed sheets you had when you were a child?

Injured my neck one time after waking up.

Return a movie to Blockbuster before going to my mom's.

Probably a fellow percussionist named Eliza.

I wish as well.

44. Do you wish on shooting stars? - Nope.

45. What is your favorite book?

Casino Royale

Surfing the internet and chatting with Ronnie on politics.

I have to walk the dog now before it gets any later.

P.S. Sorry for the rants if I've offended anyone.

Edit: Survey taken on Feburary 22.

Snow Days

Yes, it's true. Due to the amount of snow, school was cancelled yesterday and it's cancelled today. I was able to catch up on my rest for both yesterday and today, but now I wonder what the deal will be for taking the PSSA's (exams required for graduation). And I'm also cross with these snow days because I will now have to remake those two days up in June. In my honest opinion, I prefer long summer breaks instead of as many snow days as possible.

Nuclear Reactor

I was meant to post this earlier today, but I was lazy. Anyways, I went on a field trip to the Breazeale Nuclear Reactor today with my chemistry teacher and class, and it was a nice change. It did get somewhat boring with the lectures, but it started to improve once we moved around more, and to see the reactor in a big pool of water. Well, that's all that I can briefly describe. One last note is that this trip was my first school field trip since 8th grade with Hershey Park.
