Saturday night and the feeling's NOT right!
Hi all,
I'm not feeling well so I didn't do anything outside today. ![]()
But I stayed busy!
I watched Can't Hardly Wait, a perfect teen comedy I've seen a thousand times.
Then I watched The Brothers Solomon for the first time.

As Richard Roper and guest movie reviewer Robert Wilonsky will tell you it was a painful movie to watch. I felt daring, and it's free on Cinemax. Terrible, terrible movie. Painful to watch. In fact, it was the first movie Roper actually walked out of! Don't see it, please. The movie poster says it all.
I'm currently watching the very first episode of Saturday Night Live on NBC, hosted by George Carlin and airing in his honor. As a strong SNL fan I'm ashamed to admit i've never actually watched this episode.
I haven't spent an entire day without having any type of obligation in so long, just sleeping in and doing whatever I wanted to do, with no time restraints. Is that wrong to be happy about, on a Saturday night?
I moved from Level 56 to 57 so that's cool. No new editorships to report on but I'm working on a few shows.
How's everyone's weekend been so far?

George Carlin needs no help "getting smart"
It was with great sadness to hear that George Carlin passed on. Mr. Carlin was one of those people who made me reconsider my personal taboos. Nothing much more can be said then you'll be missed George.

On a lighter note, I saw Get Smart earlier this night. It was eh. It was kinda bland and really predictable but it was cute. A good movie through and through.
I bought a cd today from my favorite guilty-pleasure movie Can't Hardly Wait.

New Editorships: Rider Strong (best known as Shawn Hunter on ABC show Boy Meets World).

This blog is so 90s' I can't believe it! Speaking of decades, I really can't wait to watch I Love the New Millennium on VH1.
Have fun, it's summertime!
Well everyone, it's summertime! Time to do all of those summer-y things we love so much.

I recently bought a whole lot of old VHS tapes from a going-out-of-business TLA Videostore. So now I have a million more movies on a dead format. They had a thing "Fill a box for $10.00" so I definitly filled it. A friend and I had a fun time sorting through the crap like you had no idea (Jane Fonda workout tapes and a whole lot of copies of the Mandy Moore clunker How to Deal, to name a few) but I was able to find a few jems. Okay, I admit, I didn't exactly just stick to masterpiece theater. I mean who could resist "The Presidents Testimony: Clinton Under Oath"? I also got, for some ungodly reason, "Dance The Macerna!!". I also grabbed some real bombs, like Stuck On You and the infamous Burn Hollywood Burn, noted for being the worst movie of all time and losing the studio the most money. What can I say? When it's "take as much as you want for $10.00", it does strange things to a soul. It was thrilling though, being able to get as many of these movies as I pleased, it must be what Oprah feels like on a much smaller scale. ![]()

I got two new editorships, Saturday Night Live's latest newcomer Casey Wilson
And television hosting legend Regis Philbin!
Have a good weekend everyone, I hope everyone likes more more-interactive blog!

The light of my life is gone...
Spotlight. It came and went so quickly. What a thrill and an honor it was.
I will be MIA from Friday-Sunday (6/13-6/15).
New editorships: I recently got the editorships for Under One Roof and Center of the Universe. I've been working for both of these guides for a while, so this was nice.
Swingtown is as great as I thought it would be. I guess there are good summer shows!
I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend.

Still in the bright light!
Still in the spotlight and loving it! I plan to go through all the new friend requests when i'm out of it. It's still alot of fun, just a bit ago there was a forum all about me being in the spotlight! How cool is that? I am really glad to be here and I plan to soak it up for all it's worth.
I got an odd message about the types of editorships I have, and they didn't have the nicest things to say about me :/ But everyone else has been very nice.
On another note, I'm back on the top contributors board on the Saturday Night Live guide! Getting on there was one of my goals when I came to the site and i'm glad to be back on it. Sorry FakeSNLNorm!
As for tv, i've been watching episodes of Daria on Surfthechannel.com. Also, i'm pretty excited for Swingtown, it looks really good.
In case you haven't heard, it looks like Paper Moon star Tatum O'Neal is going to the big house! I was so sad to hear she was caught buying crack-cocaine, she's probulay one of my favorite actresses. I read her memior and she's had a rough life, she's very strong. I just wish she could find a way to make it through that's legal.
I'll try to blog again soon, keep on that spotlight. Oops, sorry Al Gore!
