In the late 1960's, a shooting star was born. Son David A. Gizzarelli was infant to San Francisco, California. The "60's" were a time of great change and evolution. A time of icons and politicians, rock concerts and Jimi Hendrix, J.F.K. and Marilyn Monroe.

Edward and Pearla graced their eyes upon a spark of time in an ever changing world. Growing into the world rose a great observer. The youngest of 9 and the last one in line. There was nothing a little "squirt" could do but watch and learn from his peers. There were lots of creative endeavors in the very beginning. First it was sliding down the grass covered hills on card board boxes. Falling into alligator filled moats at the amusement park. and fixing toy cars with a full box of "band-aides".

Eventually, mountain living became a worthwhile adventure. The "... walked 4 miles to school in 4 feet of snow" story he heard from his ole' dad as a kid became true. Lake Tahoe snow reached a 9 foot basin in those recent years. This Alpine living prepared you and weathered you. This was breath-taking summers and brutal winters. ... and one winter, or maybe it was fall, a brother and a guitar fell from heaven with an electrified lightning bolt of thunder. The Epiphone ES 335 and a cook with a nose for the herbs.

From the East to the West, in the blink of an eye. A ray of light warmed the evenings with sound and magic. The six vibrations in a salad bowl. The Pink Floyd. The ACDC. the Led Zeppelin. The massive record collections. The rock concerts and music at high decibels. The Angus Young all night to the beats of sonic dreams. The chords, the octaves. The harmonix and the bible. The Marshall stack at 7000 feet. Where would it lead? To rhythm and melody. To songwriting and creativity.

How about a whole community of musicians? A family group with a keyboard player, a guitar player, and a drummer. An ensamble of musicians, comedians, and artists. A gathering to help a child in need. A war veteran father that played Clarinet with Count Basey on the East Coast. A humble fashion modeling career. A photographer with one eye closed. How about a few wild nights of party and mayhem?

The steel string Carlos acoustic guitar was the most friendly. It built up his confidence and boosted the moral. Something to curl up to on a lonely night. The comforting sound and the "female" attention of the Montoya. It became a sport! It got racey and flirty. Daring and cunning. Edward Van Halen threw it against the wall and fixed it with electrical tape. People built fake copies of the original. Jimmy Hendrix played it upside down. And then he plugged it in. It got Marshally loud on the 1st setting of the volume knob. It got MXR distorted. It got DOD flanged. It got Echo-plexed into eternity. It got cleaned up and natural. It was Gibson dark, mid range Ovation, and Fender splendor. But it's really who you are not what you wear.

The Bible confused the mind and made sense in the heart. Fun, humor, and activity strengthens the brain and sets fire to the soul. Family, friends, and that special someone was a good and tasty recipe. Father and Robert Plant said "... go back to school'in". Moma said get a job. There was the banking system, the money, and the items of luxury and excess. The cars, the motorcycles, and the guitars. Is this what life is all about? There must be more! There must be a better way to connect. A better way to satisfy the gods. A way to praise the Child without taking money for a story. It has to be real. It has to make sense. It wasn't a tabloid. It wasn't feature film. It was a heartbeat. A ticking of time. Decades of chances and opportunity. A way to save the world.

The offspring was a way to further the mind. Christopher and Tony laid waste to the desert with their guns in the West. Darin and Ernie hit sliders and raged the stadium. Sasha and Erica would further the mind even further into the future. Johnny made it out of the war and into a marriage bliss. And India became an entire councienciousnous. Will it continue to fortify the body and strengthen the line? Will the power of love overcome the love of power? Will the love of the world outweight the love of another? Not for little Carisa.

Chuck and John were ahead of their time. They were needed by the angels sooner than later. Chuck rode the train to heaven and served up a spicey pasta and a musical encore on the side. John the sidewinder raced the open road and side streets with a beat and a rhythm only Keith "Moon" would recognize. The war was getting bigger. Graciela was needed to help build airplanes to protect the blue skies. The trans-continental Vivian at the helm of the ship. And Edward still facinated by the way things worked realizing that they didn't. Katherine Graced us with a power and a love only Kings can know. And the list goes on. The Jensens, and the Bennetts. The Stevens and the Mendes. And all the Gizzabellys and the Downings and the Bernards.

Such little time and so many places to see. Rhoad Island and New York. Florida to California. California to Nevada and back again. Through the Sierras and the great Lake Tahoe. Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the Capital of Nevada. And little towns in California like Folsom, Marysville, and Willams. The lakes and trees, streams and waterfalls. The Streets of San Francisco. Golden Gate Park. Inter-stellar travel and the out of body experience. Space and the final frontier. Who knows where he may end up next!
