On \"Friends\" not only was there a slammin beat but also good lyrics. Everybody knows \"Freeks come out at Night\". \"5 Minutes of Funk\" is also a noteworthy jam. This 808 used on all these Whodini records is legendary and even done over by New School legends Dr. Dre who continues to take the old school into the future on many accounts. Whodini paved the way for most NYC rappers that would take the torch further into the 90s, like 2pac and Biggie. The ryhmes by these men were more on a personal level but still delivered with the same amount of charisma which makes the group Whodini a test of all times. This group goes in a league of its own including greats Rakim, and Krs-One, and Run-DMC if not for these first acts of Hip Hop the entire culture would not have made such a statement in 2006 and forever.
