The Gemini Ritual
Have you ever wondered what would it be like if you cross Britney Spears with Riya Sen?? Now that I have your attention.... stop picturing it!..... Anyway, say hello to the band that Ministry wanted to be - The Gemini Ritual started with G.Raval - the prime songwriter and composer for the band - releasing the band's debut EP called "Piece of me" back in 2002. With some top notch home studio production (believe me!), crunchy guitars, and G.Raval's superb vocals, the title track soon made its mark on the indie music scene - giving G.Raval enough reasons to go ahead with a full length album - "Heroin"
The track "Heroin again" won the Best Industrial/Beat Rock Track Award at IACMusic.com for the year 2005. "Sometimes I" will remind you of early Nine Inch Nails. The track that really stands out, though, for me was the suicidal "At Last". Amazing feel to the vocals, and really good lyrics.
Overall, this is a great album. With 17 amazing tracks, totally worth the money.

trent is one of the most talented musicians of our times. he is probably the best songwriter/composer - as a songwriter in the same league as dylan maybe and there has never been a better composer in alternative music - ever! the greatest thing about nine inch nails is that you never realise when you become addicted to it. i started listening to it back in 93-94.. and though i liked the music, it wasn't my instant favourite or anything. But more i listen to it, more i like it. and yeah, i find his older stuff still better but maybe a few years down the line.
