Isn't it hard to trust the music channels now? They can really wreck your favorite band. It hasn'r really happened to me, but I know it can. Now, MTV, music television that hardly plays music, has the power to destroy a band, then bring back to life, then destroy it again. Spoon, which I can confidently say is an all-time favorite, might get caught up in MTV. Sure, make them known, but I don't want teene-boppers saying they're hardcore fans when all they've heard was Sister Jack. What about "Believing is Art" from Girls Can Tell? That's a song that would certainly turn off your average MTV watcher, but if MTV themselves said it was cool, you'd have alot more fans of the tune. VH1 isn't essentially a channel mainly for music anymore. It's a really nice mix. Awesome shows, they spread positive "if you like it..." buzz about good artists. That's why I trust VH1 a whole lot more than MTV. Well, that's my rant today. PEACE.
