Haven't Been Here in a While...

Haven't been to TV.com lately, but that's about to be fixed...I'm investigating some things I can actually do with the site, and I'm getting these cool pics of House. I say that House is definitely the show that must be watched by EVERYONE in this country. I'm just a geek for it...

The Nanny came on DVD 7/12 and I'm very excited...I'm thinking of buying it. I just want to wait a month and something-something to see the reviews to see if it is worth my time (though I'm 167% sure it is!!!).

The Closer is better than ever...I was disappointed with the ending of this past week's episode. A serious decline in episode quality since its premiere. Hmmph.

The Level 1 Explorer....

Throughout my time here at TV.com, I've realized a few things about myself...I'm a total computer geek. Sometimes, I'll come up on here, and scroll up and down, like I have nothing to do. Except, I'm just looking into my cool work that I've done...who would've thought that my reviews and my blogs could all be seen on one page...I'm not even doing anything, but watching this screen. Back and forth. And most times, theres nothing new for me to explore.

Anyways, I'm so excited for the House DVD 8/30. It is going to be the best. The cover looks great, and, though I've seen most of the episodes, I can sort of recap. Just like I will be doing with The Nanny DVD when it comes out soon. I'm also very interested in The West Wing, and Season 1 will be the place to be when I get it soon. I'm really hopeful for all this DVD stuff...because I watch movies, but TV is a good thing, especially on DVD!!!

Great Week Exploring Television Channels!

With summer kicking in, I've got extra time on my hands! Goodie! Goal! Score! I've been able to see the new show 'Into the West' (which sucks in my opinion), but it all began with 'The Closer', one of the best crime scene dramas I've seen in my life. Producers and Directors are coming up with astonishing television show's these days! Geez...my 2005-6 fall schedule will be full of everything...'Close to Home', 'House' and more.

When House first started, and I was finally able to get into a weekly drama, I was excited. 'The West Wing' has finally ended for its 6th season, but I do watch it in reruns. Gladly, I'll have something new to watch during the summer...my new best friend: 'The Closer' and the Nanny DVD this July.

Second Day at TV.com

TV.com is becoming even more interesting. I enjoy searching up TV facts and stuff, and looking at what people really like is interesting. I have currently made 3 reviews, and this will be my second blog post. According to my personal statistics, among all my favorite shows, there is a tie between Dramas & Comedies, only because there is one of each.

I hope to be updating this place soon. But, I'm trying to find out something: How do I make a cool image for myself at the top like the 24 and House sites have?

Juelz Santana Hip-Hop

After first hearing about Juelz Santana, I thought he was an 'LL Cool J-wannabe'. His signature 'bandanna' look really caught on to me after a while and I think he realized that all that hardcore rapping that people like Lil' Wayne and Young Jeezy rap about wasn't working. He went in the way of 50 Cent, LL Cool J, and Bow Wow to make more flashy, rhythmic rap tunes. He incorporated his signature rapping style and look and he put it into a more Hip-Hop look. It worked. 'There It Go' is obviously my favorite rap tune at this time. The thing is he tries to rap good and he does it. Plus, he'll have the look. There it go, he'll drop an album and single time to time and no one will notice but his fans here and there will buy and listen to his music.

Hung Up

After a very lackluster 'American Life' single track, everyone knew Madonna had to come back with something better and greater. Of course, we all know that Madonna's usual style is to create flashy disco-tune, dance albums like "Ray of Light" and "Music", her most recent successes. Her dark albums have been "Erotica" (though still a very good album) and "American Life". "Confessions on a Dance Floor" reminds me more of "Music" than "Ray of Light" because it incorporates a lot of 90s tunes instead of the Rave-ish/Techno-like "Ray of Light". You will hear "Hung Up" at a dance party because it encourages the avid dancer or music-listener to dance. It is that kind of song. It won't be a Billboard hit. It won't be raved by critics either. But, it'll make people dance.
