The thing about sweeps...
The thing about sweeps that annoys me is how jam packed they are. I don't mind that every episode of every show is new, but I feel like the pivotal moments of a series can be spotted from a mile away because they are bound to air in November, February, or May. Advertisers should really catch on and examine year-round ratings in order to get a sense of how the show is actully performing. Then, things would be less predictable, and the great events could occur all year round. I can't think of a single show that wouldn't benefit from this.
