Semper fidelis!
Why hello there everyone!

I know that no one misses me but what the hey, and if you do for some odd reason well then I'm sorry for keeping all of you in the dark for so long but school called, and basketball season ended a while back, made it to City Semi- Finals before losing to the eventual city winner....(I still can't see how that happened but it did *le sigh*), I've also been helping with the freshmen/sophmore basketball team in preparation for there season as well as preparing myself with training on my soon to be home, Parris Island, South Carolina where they make MARINES.

Yes, that is right. No spell checked needed or fogging of glasses and wiping them with your sleeve. I've enlisted in the Marines, (No help from my boys Mac Taylor, Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Danny McCoy) fully kidding of course. Kidding about the fact that tv characters prompt my decision of becoming a Marine, I meant. I've talked to my mom about it as well as my brother and they both fully support me on the decision, I weighed it, pros and cons, for, what seems the better half of high school, and have come out to say that I am going to do it. So after high school, I shall be shipped out to Parris Island, South Carolina and will attend the gut wrentching, OMFG! (according to many of my friends) what was I thinking, I should quit right now, pain staking, tiring, boot camp from hell/expirience of a lifetime and make it out with triumph and be able to call myself a Marine and have gained further more respect from many. It'll be a heck of an expirience I'll say that much, but It'll get me that much more closer to becoming what I want to be, and there is nothing wrong with that. That and I'll be in super duper shape man

Well on to what many of us here actually care about...TV! YAY! Say it with me now...YAY!!!

I've had to re-think and think some more as well as think some more after thinking abot the rank of my shows. Some have fallen and some have risen, tremendously.

1.House

It's officially taken over as thenumber 1 show for me. Hands down. It was in a heated battle with Dexter and CSI, but lately it's blown it out of the water and it's officially resided in the number 1 spot.

2. Dexter
|
The only reason that its NOT number 1 is because I'm painfully- I mean patiently awaiting for the next season to finally come around, so slowly I am dying inside...No, well, my box seasons still keep me alive, and I always love re-watching the episodes so thats good....right?!

3. CSI:NY

I have been going on a CSI:Ny overload man. I have been re-watching and re-watching episode after episode and I have fallen in love with the show again. I love it when that happens dont you?

4. 30 rock

I just love this freaking show. It's so unique in the sense that theres refernces that pop out from nowhere which I manage to capture like 7 out of the 10 and even when I reflect back onto the references and finally catch what the hell they meant or said, it makes it that much more of an amazing show.

5. X-files

Well now. Lets see, first show that I ever watched. Captivated me since....I was 6. First show that I ever bought a box season for, had posters up, wanted since forever to meet the people playing the main characters (which i totally did! ), followed with such a passion that I think I shed a tear when the finale came. Yea, that's right, I said that I cried when it was over!
(ONLY TOP 5 GET PICTURES....AND NO! I WILL NOT GO AGAINST MY DECISION OF POSTING PRETTY PICTURES WITH COLORS....OH NOW THAT JUST SOUNDS LIKE FUN...:p )
6. NCIS
Marines. Navy. Gibbs. Need I say more?

7. Jeeves and wooster
It may just possibly be that I love Hugh laurie that damn much, but I mean with an amazing show like this to boot...who wouldnt love this man? Brilliantly based, with Stephen Fry to also boot, their chemistry can not be ignored as I love this show way too much.
8. Nip/Tuck
Sex. Plastic surgeons. More sex. Unfiltered words and...sex. Los Angeles. Hmmm, need I even DARE to say more?
9. Stargate sg-1
10. Heroes
Sylar. Yea, that's right I said it!
11. Without a Trace
Gruffy Jack. Ha
12. As the World Turns
I mean if you thought that your life was pretty effed up, watch one episode and you wont even consider complaing again. Someone either gets stabbed, shot, pregnant, loses that kid, kidnapped, broken up with, cheated on....ummm....well everything horrible that you could think of could pretty muched be summed up on a week of this.
13. SVU
14. CSI
You've...dissapointed me. With the leave of Grissom, I knew that it wouldnt be the same so I continued to watch it and hoped that some familarity would surface but everything seemed thrown off completely. It turned into the Langston show...I mean even when Grissom was on it, it didnt completely revolve around him, but now it seems that everything revolves around Langston. *sighs* I've stopped watching it, and havent bothered to continue to go on with it.
15. Las Vegas
16. Weeds
17. The Mentalist
18. Scrubs
19. The Ultimate Fighter
With only 3 episodes in...I know that this will jump up in my stands in no time. Henderson and Bisping, with their teams in tow, will make out to do some ridiculous training as well as teach these men some things or two about fighting in the octagon. damn....just an opportunity to train with them....lucky punks....
20. Intreatment

I didn't write something for all of them, as I made that quite painfully aware.

Sooo...until next time, I'll see you cats on the flip side. Have a goood weekend!!!

First Blog of 2009...For me obviously!

I realize Ihave become lazy when it comes to blogging but I do still come onto TV.com almost every day. So if you ever need to talk to me just pm me and I should respond within the next 24 hours no later than 48 unlesss I am on vacation or can't get to a copmuter for some reason.

Anyways, the Pittsburgh Steelers are back in the Super Bowl again. The just beat the Baltimore Ravens over an hour ago. They will face the Arizona Cardinals in what should be a good matchup. The PEnguins are struggling right now but just won today giving them two straight wins for the first time since November.

I watched SNL last night and it was a pretty good one, atleast in my eyes. I loved "Da Learnin Train" skit. If they could find someone to take over Rosarios's spot tand make it a semi-regular skit that could be a good one. Chuck is in the midst of a short break but it is still as addicting this season as it was in the previous one. Smallville is still going while Lost is getting ready for it's comeback. Can't wait. I caught both episodes of American Idol thus far and loved the Bikini Girl scene. Kara DioGuardi was really mad and started to sing and everything. Did anyone see Paula's face she looked like she was dead. She just sat there as if she was blind, deaf and paralyzed. I know she is nice an friendly but she is a strange banana. She always says or does some weird things, even if that doesn't count you can bet she'll do something else a little odd or embarassing if you know what I mean. For example last year when Simon's "Brother Forever" sang she got up and started break danceing while he was singing. I am excited for the show, nonetheless, and can't wait til they get to the Top 24 where I really get addicted.

That's it for my little ramble, Have a good one everybody...

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!! Someone I've Known for a Long Time Has Gone Missing...

I was very VERY surprised to hear that this happened. So I've known this guy named Jenner Roberts since 7th grade. He was always in some of my classes and we both really knew each other well but never really became friends because he was rather critical towards me. He was also kind of a strange guy, like two years ago he randomly stopped coming to school because he didn't feel like it for about 6 weeks and got home schooled instead. Then, the next year, he got home schooled full time and sometimes showed up at school randomly as if he still came here. And as of this school year, I saw him once, at a school football game, and said hi to him. I was pleasantly suprprised to see him. That was in early October. Anyways, I heard that after that at some time, he was sent to a facility of some sort in Provo, Utah and on the 22nd of November he ran away from there and is nowhere to be found now. It stinks. I wish I could help his family out but he ran off in Utah very under the radar. So for now my thoughts and prayers are with them. Here is his missing persons report. I hope he comes back...

RIP Pushing Daisies

I can't believe the news today... ABC cancels Pushing Daisies

Well, my day is just ruined! Might as well crawl back in the bed! Okay, maybe not. The cancellation of Pushing Daisies doesn't comes as a HUGE shock, considering all of the reports here and on other websites about how bad the ratings where. This was my main concern with the show last year. Pushing Daisies is a complete 180 from what is on TV these days. And while we Americans might vote for a canidate who seems to love the word change, we don't like change when it comes to our entertainment. I guess in the end the change that Pushing Daisies offered wasn't what people were looking for or liked.

According to the article Bryan Fuller is trying to negotiate with DC to print comics that would tie up the storylines, becuase apperantely the season ends on a cliffhanger. I don't read comics and it might be leaping into a whole new sphere of geekdom, I would buy those just to see how the Piemaker and Chuck end up.

The article also mentions that ABC has cancelled Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money. I was never a fan of Eli Stone. I did watch the pilot, however that was becuase I like George Micaheal's song, "Faith". Dirty Sexy Money was a show I tried to get into last year and this year, but with its huge cast and coming in late, it was hard to understand everyone's history and what they currently where doing.

I'm so tired

yeah, i know. Haven't blogged in a while. Haven't been on in a while. Yeah, I promised being more active once new South Park came. Yeah, I've been watching all the new episodes (seen 'em all including tonight's hilarious HSM riff). But somehow, I haven't been coming to this site.

This all culminates in me receiving a message that I've been MIA from my Matt Stone guide. What the hell? I cannot recall any submissions to any of my guides in forever. Yet somehow, I keep getting messages that the "staff" had to come in and clear out my queue because someone had to wait more than a week for a submission response. My hope is that it is some new user who just wants some recognition but trying to call me MIA seems something that a more experienced user would do. Plus, I checked the guide and all of the trivia and notes and I see no changes at all from what was previously there. Maybe I'm wrong but I have a gut feeling that I'm not.

So, I had to reply with a response for my absense so I could retain the guide. Seriously, I enjoy the site but there are other things going on in my life like my job and school that take more priority than accepting and rejecting someone else's subs. I know the responsibility of being an editor and I still want to keep my guide. But if this continues, I might just give up for good.

Anyway, I've been playing Guitar Hero World Tour. I love it. A little bit easier on guitar but the drums are the real joy. It's a great game. I would totally recommend it.

Finally, I've been loving the new episodes of South Park. They've been excellent. My favorite would have to be "About Last Night..." as of now but that may change. I'm gonna try working on some more subs for that but I don't know if I'll have the ambition.

To all of the Miley Cyrus fans out there!
We've been hearing a lot of news on Miley lately, mostly bad, and in response I always read or hear how she's not as bad as Lindsay, Britney, and the Olsens! Which is fine, but thats all I hear when people try to defend her! Now I still hate Lindsay and the Olsens, yet I'm starting to like Britney again, but I hate it when the fans insult other women to not only build Miley up, but build themselves up in the making! I don't mean to insult anyone in the proses or sound like a total hypocrite, but you're not only downplaying someone to make yourself feel better, but you are also judging these women at the same time! Then I hear about how Mandy is a bad influence on Miley! Miley is almost an adult now! She needs to learn how to think for herself and not get caught up in peer pressure! This isn't a thread fulling hating on Miley, or anyone else, I'm just tired of people treating her as if she did nothing wrong in the first place! The fact that you guys and the fans are treating her like a baby is giving her the mentality that she can get away with anything! Please don't get angry and/or deleted my blog because you can't handle me disagreeing with you, which shows great ignorance and intolerance on your side! Just tall me what you think!

Tonight Show Jokes (no date)
These are the old ones... (no date)

According to the latest approval ratings, only 39% of Americans like the job President Bush is doing. 39%. And of course, the white house, they're jumping on this 39% thing. They're now calling Bush the president who represents minorities.

In New Orleans, they welcomed the first baby born in a hospital since Hurricane Katrina. How about that? They named the baby FEMA because it finally showed up after nine months.

They had a riot in Toledo, Ohio, and a group of Neo-Nazis held a march in a predominantly black neighborhood. Well, what could go wrong there? Gee, there's a good idea.

Before Social Security, Americans have to keep working long after they were past retirement age - kinda like the way Cher has to now.

President Bush said the job of the Supreme Court is extremely important, because as you know these are the people who choose the President of the United States.

Politics '08

First of all thanks to everyone for your support in my previous post. I appreciate it.

What I want to do today is weigh in on the 2008 Presidential race.

Now I know most of you all aren't old enough to vote this election cycle, but many of you are. I'd like to hear your opinions regardless of age, though.

On to my opinion. Early in 2007 when candidates were just getting their campaigns going, my buddy told me about this one guy (and that already disqualifies Hillary ) and I decided to look into him, as well as some of the other candidates.

I'm pretty conservative in my views so naturally I registered as a Republican. And the Republican field was abundant with candidates. So I began the narrowing down.

Well the guy I support now is the same guy I got to know early last year. Through watching his speeches, researching his views, etc. I was very impressed with his leadership ability and optimistic outlook for Anerica.

The candidate I want for President is Mitt Romney. He spent 25 years of his life in the private sector as a very successful businessman, where he accumulated a lot of personal wealth. In 2002, he was chosen to run the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, which were plagued by scandals and financial problems. Mitt Romney turned those games around, which occurred only months after 9/11, and uplifted the spirits of Americans after its most devastating attack in its history.

Then there's Massachusetts. From 2003-2007 Romney served as governor of Massachusetts. Results are seemingly mixed, but he made some very notable accomplishments. In MA, he was able to work with a Democratic legislature to get everyone in the state health care, without the kind of socialized medicine Hillary Clinton. He also inherited a $3 billion deficit and turned it into a surplus within his term without raising taxes. Think about that: Romney solved two of the major issues in this national election as a governor of MA. As President he would offer states incentives to try out and come up with their own health care systems and not insititute "Hillarycare." He would also be able to cut out the waste and duplication in the federal government and balance the budget during his administration.

Another advantage: as a businessman, he has been in the economy, seeing how jobs are created and lost. He would offer unique insight into the economy and could prevent us from moving into a recession. He has proposed a broad economic stimulus plan (worth over $200 billion) that would, among other things, lower the income tax rate for those making roughly $95,000 a year and less to 7.5% from 10%, retroactive to 2007. He'd also eliminate payroll taxes on workers over age 65. And he'd eliminate taxes for those making $200,000 or less on capital gains, interest, etc. View his full stimulus plan at mittromney.com.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw this out there. Let the debating begin!

Busy Busy Busy

The last few weeks have been very hectic with moving to a new house and work (both volunteer and paid). Tomorrow night I'm off to see the movie "Amazing Grace". From what I've seen of the trailer it looks very good.

Last weekend I went to a concert - "Lift Up Your Voice" which was part of the Queensland Music Festival. On Sunday, after church I went to a Tupperware party. They've got a couple of things I would like to get but alas the money is a bit tight at the moment with the move and the extra bills that came with it.

I'm out practically every day of the week and this Saturday coming up will probably be the first day I won't be going out any where. Which in a way will be a bit of a relief.

It's Been Awhile

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since my last blog post. I still come here every day, but the truth is, I have nothing to write about. No new editorships or anything. But, I would like to announce that my goal is to get to Level 19 by the end of this year (hopefully the bug is fixed soon).

I'll try to post more. I get out of school in 16 days!

Still a long way to go
Reaching 5000 reviews just becomes a more impossible task as I churn out more of them.  Though recently, I've been merely writing reviews just because I've become so accustomed to writing a review after watching an episode.  If I ever do reach this goal, it was because it just happened; not because I desperately wanted to write 5000 reviws jsut for the sake of it.  Recently finished both Mummies Alive and Slam Dunk.  I read the Slam Dunk manga soon afterwards, and read the rest of it that same day.  The manga is so much better than the anime, I definitely recommend it to everyone.

I've recently gotten into editorship as I've noticed one of my favourite shows, Photon, is completely empty with no guides whatsoever.  Unintentionally, I became the editor for Slam Dunk, which feels kind of good because more points are rewarded as opposed to reviews.  Though it kind of gets annoying having to accept submissions.

Currently watching:

Noein, Kannaduki no Miko, Dragonball Z, The Batman, Jackie Chan Adventures.

The Idiots in my state finally got the ****ing budget passed

I'm sure most of heard that New Jersey's government completely shut down since they couldn't pass the budget.  Well, the legislature finally came up with one today that our tool of a Governor, Jon Corzine, was willing to sign.

The new budget includes an increase of the NJ sales tax from 6% to 7% to dig us out of the $4.5 BILLION deficit in our state.  This deficit was of course caused by a bunch of idiot liberals who control the state and have no restraint when it comes to spending and ultimately wasting our tax dollars.

Half of the money generated from the tax increase will go towards offsetting our insane property taxes (the average homeowner pays $10,000/yr in property taxes compared to states such as Florida where people pay $300/yr.  When it comes out, we will most likely get about $200 back, which won't do ****.

For some reason, they refuse to seriously consider cutting the budgets for state programs.  And they shut down all the casinnos in Atlantic City, which make 1.3 million/day for the state throught the 8% tax on winnings.

What they should do is increase the 8% tax on casino winnings and get rid of all wasteful spending, but of course that would be too logical for libs.

Hopefully all these idiots are voted out come 2007.
