Bronchitis? Who has bronchitis?

Yeah, it's true. I My bronchitis is long gone, folks, so I'm not lazy anymore. I guess. Voting is going to start next Wednesday so be ready. Hopefully my computer will be as well since it has been screwed up the last few days. Slower than ever.

Bye guys.

Okay.. here's our first two games of the playoffs so far before I give you the summary about tonight's blowout loss.

Us 4, Them 3

Us 15, Them 7/bottom of the sixth not played by eight run margin of victory

Them 18, Us 3
First let me say, unlike the regular season in which the run rule in every inning is six-well in the playoffs, it is seven for some reason. Just so you know, because you might need that information for this blog and maybe the next few as well.

Well, in the first inning, they scored three runs. Us, nothing.

In the second inning, they scored four more to make it 7-0. In the bottom of the second, we got a girl named Danny on first base. (She's a heavy girl, no offense) With two outs, the next player grounded out and easily got out at first base, but here some how the ball is in the defender's hand on the baseline between second and third base. Danny, nearly halfway between the bases, easily gets outran back to second. (that's where the "heavy girl" part comes in) It pissed me off, and set up six runs in the third. 13-0.

We scored three in the bottom of the third, but here came the top of the fourth. Ugh. The most painful inning ever. Hit after hit, error after error, run after run... it was only five runs in the inning but was bad enough. 18-3. And actually the other team did not get three outs. What at first people said the umpires said there was no way we could catch up (which was a lie cause we had three innings left, and possibly 21 runs) and while I was using "a very colorful vocaulary" about the refs to my friend, Lane, it turned out our coach, LeeAnn (however you spell it, lol) called the game. Pissed me off as well.

My sister only got to bat once in the game and got out in the process to put her at 2-8 (.250) for the postseason. The coach was making dumb substitutions and field arrangements and the infield players just sucked. Ugh... but the coach's daughter, Ashton, firstbasewoman, has never been subbed out of any game this season, though she was as bad as anybody else tonight. I've been to 13 of the 14 games now, but I can assure you. Ashton has never been in the dug out.

So that means we play tomorrow at 6:30PM. If we win that game, we're in the championship game, playing at 8:30PM. But if we win the one at 6:30, we will eventually have to play them again since it will be their first loss. Double elimination tournament, remember? Even if it is in the round before the championship. And if we win that game, we face the team we faced tonight in the championship? Get it? Got it? Good.

So that's all for tonight.

Well first... since my sister's playoff tournament is double elimination and winning comes before family, [duh!] I'd like to say:

HAPPY 47TH... I MEAN, 27TH BIRTHDAY DAD!

Lol, of course he's 47.. not to embarass him. Though he can make me angry sometimes.. okay, a lot.. I still love him and wouldn't ever ask for another one. (NOTE- his birthday is on the 8th, not the 9th)

So back to baseball, or in this case, softball. Wind blew dirt everywhere during pregame warmups and it thundered and sprinkled a bit during the game.. but eventually our Phillies would show that they wanted it more, coming back from a 3-0 deficit after one innings, to shutting out the opponent in the last five, eventually taking the win, 4-3. (For once, a reasonable low score! )

My sister went 1-3 with an RBI in the game.

We scored our first run of the game when my sister, Natalie, reached on a triple and brought Jackson home with her only hit. 3-1. Taylor popped a flyball that the other team caught.

In the fourth inning, we loaded the bases with one out but, consecutive batters struck out.

In the top of the fifth, the leadoff batter reached first, I believe. The next batter hit a liner to second, and the player running to second got out, but the batter got to first safely. Then Jackson made a great catch and a double play by tossing it to first "basewomen", Ashton when the opposing player was caught with her head in the clouds, off first base.

In the bottom of the fifth, Jackson led off again with her third at-bat, and got her third hit. My sister was up next and she got out.. and in a near flashback to the first inning, when Natalie got out-Jackson was one first, she got to second easily but got out trying to gamble trying to get to third. Jackson ran back to second this time. And it would turn out the Phillies would get hit after hit until we scored three more runs to ultimately take the lead, and the win, 4-3.

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday.. well actually its two days ago now. I was meaning to get this up earlier, but I wanted to give the other blog a chance to get some comments, and then my computer basically.. um, screwed up.

So yep, if you are energetic enough to read blog titles, I have a um.. "bad case" yet only "a touch" of bronchitis. IDK, ask my dad. So yeah, I got it from inhaling to much smoke from the fireworks at our fourth of July celebration.. Sure it's "asthma", [idk if I spelled it right] but it doesn't mean I have it. In fact, it's confirmed.. I DON'T HAVE IT. Especially since the last time I had an "episode" was eight years ago.. same thing of bronchitis during Christmastime. But we did make a little fun of it. My mom called and my dad told me to tell her it was what she thought it was. Strept though. Then I added a little of my own to it.. saying we ate at Hooters!

So yep, I'm feeling better now. Hopefully it will be gone for good, tomorrow.

Well my sister's softball team had the first game of their 2008 playoffs tonight in a town.. eh, forty-five minutes from our house? IDK, but eventually.. [NOTE- someone said a "complete game" was three innings, or that three innings is the least amount you can play] and the game got rained out in the bottom of the third, [we were the home team] with two outs. The remake is the same time tomorrow. I think our team was having a bad day, with only two base hits and only one man left on base, the victims of a 3-0 shutout.
