New games

Recently got Burnout: Revenge and Fatal Frame II.  Been playing the both equally even though I don't have a lot of time to play much anymore. Work is picking up steam and I just don't have the time anymore.  Aside from work I also have house duties (owning a house is tough work.)  Ah but you get through it and find some minutes here and there to sneak over to the controller and get in some good gaming time.

Forza

Well....Ninja Gaiden made me realize how bad I am at video games. I'm the kind of player who likes to enjoy the games and not really go for high scores or super hard levels. I didn't get too far on Hurrican Pack 2 and tried 3 where I did a little better but I realized that it would take a long time for me to even try and beat any of those games.... SO

I turned my attention back to Forza and have been able to get SO much farther than I had before I went over to NG. I'm actually enjoying Forza so much more now and have even played online for a while. I've been able to beat some guys who have been racing online much more than me and are actually at higher levels in the game than I am so I'm feeling pretty good about that.

Not much else going on other than trying now to win the Ferrari Enzobut I'm not even level 40 yet (Enzo at 48 ) so I still have some ways to go.

Ninja Gaiden 2

I finished my first tournament and actually did a lot better than I thought I would...granted I'm no where near the top of the list but still better than what I expected.

I've started the 2nd tournament and I'm pretty sure that it's going to be one hell of a ride. I've only gotten to Musai and alreay having trouble with the game. I can't imagine how Alma or Dooku are going to be this time around.

Other than that nothing much going on but work and it's getting a little tough for me. I'd rather not have it be a piece of cake though because then it'd be quite boring.

I went to Reno, NV over the weekend and was (of course) hoping to hit it big so I wouldn't have to work anymore however you can't really win big if you don't play big. So ...looks like I'll still be working for some time.

Ninja Gaiden

I recently downloaded all of the Ninja Tournament rankings and started playing through the first one. I'm beginning to realize that I'm not as good at that game as I once thought I was. I've already beaten the game but I wasn't too concerned with karma and essence but now I realize that it's important for the scoring system. I can't even really figure out how to get those higher while playing.

I've noticed that most situations have a timer and a few times I've been able to beat the situation within the time limit so I'm thinking that's where it's important. But I've also noticed that when I use the flail I and get my hit count above 100 then I get a good amount of essence. I have the armlet that absorbs more essence but I don't see much of a difference. Maybe I just need to keep playin and work on getting my combos down better since that seems to be the way to finish off all of the enemies faster.

Since I started the tournament I haven't uploaded my score so I don't really know where my ranking stands. I'm only about 1/2 way through the first tournament so I still have some way to go. I'm really curious about the other 2 and how they differ from the first. I hope it's just not the same game with more baddies. I realize they are not new games entirely but a few different things would be nice.

Military union

I recently joined the military union as a charter member. I'm going to be spending a good amount of time there because I want to be able to pass on as much information to anyone who wants to know more. I am a former Marine and have some tales that I can share and hope that people who have questions will come to the union and have some discussions with us.

I never really think about my experiences that much because it was a different time in my life but they truly did help me become who I am today. I'm going to try and gather as much information as I can so please feel free to drop by and check us out.
