New Shows
The new shows are not impressing me so far. Bionic Woman was horrible. I couldn't have cared less about the characters and the premise was somewhat complicating. Add those to things together and you get a show I barely remember watching.
I was somewhat excited about Moonlight because I like vampires, but I tried not to get my hopes up as I am very picky. I'm not one of those vampire fans that is into a movie/book/tv show just because it has to do with vampires. I never liked Blade, even though I've read a couple of the Tonya Huff Blood series, I didn't really care for Blood Ties. So I was somewhat jaded when I sat down to watch Moonlight. Here's how it scored. Casting-sucked, Acting-sucked, writing-sucked, premise-lame. That's alot of sucking, even for a vampire show. The main thing that turned me off from this show was the constant narration. If a tv show is done well, it does not need narration. My husband and I didn't even finish watching the whole episode.
On a more positive beat, loved Heroes and Smallville premieres.
Hoping that Cave Man is as good as the commercials.
Well, I guess there's tv shows to watch again!
Lost has been gone so long, I forgot it was coming back this week. Luckily my tivo didn't forget.
Oh and that special "lost survival guide", yeah that didn't tell me squat. Sawyer likes to be the bad guy? well duh! Jack's a reluctant leader? no kidding! Kate like to run? gee, thanks for clearing that up! We did find one thing out in the actual episode: Juliette is a on the island against her will. And that about sums it up.
Thank goodness American Idol is done with their freak show portion. Those were getting on my nerves.
I'm still so far behind on watching Smallville it's not even funny. If the army ever lets my husband spend any time at home, maybe we can get caught up.
And Amazing Race Allstars starts next week, I guess.
I have enjoyed the first two episodes of The Dresden Files, even though it's difficult to watch someone else's interpretation of books that you've read. They are actually not doing too bad. Maybe it's because they are just using the premise of the books and not the actual stories. Murphy is just as mean and unreasonable on the show as she is in the book, although if I'm not mistaken she's a blond, but oh well.
My new favorit show...
is Kyle XY. I am really enjoying this show. The premise is very interesting, acting is good, a little bit "cheesey", with just the right amount of "corney", got some mystery and every week it actually makes me laugh out loud a time or two. I love it.
I've also started watching La Femme Nakita on DVD. I saw the french film that it was based on last year and have seen three episodes so far. It is very very good.

We'll see, Eight Sporadic Ramblings About This Week in TV
#7. This is the third time this season on The Apprentice that the contestants have put friendship above there goal of winning. Lee is the first to survive it.
#6. Good riddance to Lake and Michelle on the Amazing Race. I hope the Hippies can catch up next week.
#5. It's good thing that Terry keeps winning the immunity challenge, cause he's and idiot. He should of used that hidden immunity idol three episodes ago to save Nick when he could have turned the numbers around for his tribe. Quit trying to get people the "switch to you side"---you don't have a side anymore.
#4. My new favorite dating show guilty pleasure--"Can't Get a Date" on VH1. I loved Morgan!! He could totally have his own reality show.
#3. I am so pissed that I missed the Tom Cruise interview with Diane Sawyer.
#2. I'm behind on my Smallville viewing and have a really good reason but too long to go into. Any way I'm only up to "Hypnotic", in which Clark broke up with Lana for the millionth time. I love Lana but your mom's right Clark, "She's not the one for you."
#1. I really hope the Losties stop pushing that damn button.

How Open Minded Are You?

You are a very open minded person, but you're also well grounded.
Tolerant and flexible, you appreciate most lifestyles and viewpoints.
But you also know where you stand firm, and you can draw that line.
You're open to considering every possibility - but in the end, you stand true to yourself. How Open Minded Are You?
Oh, My!

Picked for their personality, not for their talent! This should be interesting. I can't wait.
Zonfire
I finally broke down and got the zonfire hero editor. And it's pretty cool. So far I've only edited my paladin, sorseress and necromancer. My druid, barbarian and amazon remain untainted.

The Tribe Stinks

I was rooting for Stephanie the whole time and she really should have won. Everybody loved her so much on the first Survivor and then when she got a chance to actually come back and she played to win everybody acted like she was committing crimes. If she hadn't been cut-throat this time she would have been voted out earlier than she was last time. She came back with a plan and she executed it and my hats off to her. In my opinion that bitter jury of losers just voted out of anger, instead of voting for the best player.
