I had been thinking about resurrecting my GS blog and using it as my sole source of keeping my friends up to date and such but the language and expressions that I use are a bit on the adult side of things so I have moved my blog over to here.
I like the ability to customize the look and feel as well as having people from outside of the GS family to view it.

Wow, I haven't posted a blog in a long while. In fact, i've been very caught up in schoolwork...and recently, Modern Warfare 2, which I'll be having a review up soon. Obviousley im am little late to the MW:2 blog hype bandwagon. The huge burst of game releases has passed, and heres my review for ODST:
This game was great, except for the fact that none of my friends played it. I bought it, thought i was awesome at first, beat the campaign, then looked online to my buddies to play Firefight. Apparantly to everyone else, ODST is a waste of money, and I had no one else to play with. So I sold it to fund Assassin's Creed 2, which I will also be writing a review on.
In other news, there has been a game that has recently just piqued my interest. Its called Alan Wake. It talks about a writer who goes on a vacation with his wife, only to find that she has disappeared. Then, a thriller he never even remembers writing comes true before his own eyes. This game has been in development for a long time, and was announced several years before. I remember seeing it in an old xbox magazine, and was amazed at the graphics. They are still amazing now, and the game plays out as an action-horror game. While i've never been a fan of horror games, theres something about this, the intensity, the suspense, that caught my interest. I'll be looking forward to this, as i'm sure it will be a truly unique experience.

So I've been saving up for a long time for my dream system. Not as long as many, since I get accommodations and discounts from working at Best Buy (that I can't discuss in great detail), but I'm still shelling out around $2500 in the end.
So I've ordered my Klipsch speakers. I'm getting three XL-23 LCR and two XL-12 LCR speakers with a 12" Subwoofer. I'm hooking this up to my new Denon AVR-790 (which is the same as the "higher end" AVR-1910). I'll have my Xbox 360 and newly bought PS3 slim to hook up to it! All the highest end Monster cables.
A buddy from work is helping me mount everything and conceal all the wires behind the wall in exchange for some co-op gaming on my new system plus I'm buying him a game of his choice.

NOthing all that intresting has been going on for me lately. I just moved thats about it. =P I had to go to my school and check things out today as well, My new school is HUGE compared to my last one that I went to xD Its pretty cool. I like it there xD My last school was surrouned by corn o.O Now its like more city like xD
My friend also told me about another really cool band that I started to listen to since I have been on here last! =) Their name is Thousand Foot Krutch xP Im not sure how to explain what they are, But I like them a lot =P Favorite songs by them are phenomenon, I Climb, & The Art of Breaking. Check them out if your ever bored =P
Of course im still playing PSU xD Allmost have all my characters over 100 along with my PA's or skills in the game at a really decent level too =P I gave away all my items when I quit, so I had to build my way back up from next to noghitng as well xD It made the game a lot of fun =P I only have like 60 hours on my new character too! Instead of 800 >.> so Im not AS addicteed as before xD
My Characters in TWEWY are maxed now as well, however I still havent found the "Secret" in the final chapter cause I cant beat the things to get to the boss xD Its starting to tick me off =P those stupid pig noise I cant kill them xD

I've been playing my Druid on WOW now ever since I got it a few weeks ago and I've almost reached lvl 30, but I'm getting so bored of it.
My plan was to get him to 70 or atleast over 50.
But I don't even have BC yet, and I would really enjoy playing as a Drainei or Blood Elf; and after all that I'd love to play as a Death Knight in WOTLK.
So I think I may just play my druid some more until I get my gig of memory in my laptop, then I'll go ahead and purchase BC and make my alt and lvl him up for awhile. I always wanted to play as a Shammy and they are suppose to be faster to level up and I need some variety in my WOW life.
With Classes starting back and I have to get a job soon I wont have enough time to concentrate on my druid getting to 70, I'll get extremely bored with it as well.
So I've logged in this morning and found I've reached a new level of Blaster Master, after looking at my screen quizically for the last 10 minutes I've finally remebered where I had seen the name before, the game for the NES called ....you guessed it.....Blaster Master, or in Japanese Chô Wakusei Senki Metafight, but I suppose that is a little confusing name for a GS level.
The game was great, you controlled a kid called Jason who goes off looking for his escaped pet frog, who due to a freak radioactive mishap has grown huge and falling down a hole. Upon heading down the hole to find his mutated amphibious friend he just happens to come across the new space age tank called SOPHIA, well I say SOPHIA really its called a Subatomic Omni-directional Probative Hyper-responsive Indomitable Abdicator (3rd Design) Nora MA-01 but its a bit of a tounge twister to say at parties and valet services.
So now the game consists of scrolling shooting action both inside AND outside of the tank, at the time revelutionary, but now just a bit sad. Even so the game was the most challenging I had played at the time and the combination of tank game and top down scrolling shotting out of the tank was mind blowing.
Ahh, all of this insanity purely because i got promoted, I can't wait now till I get promoted again, hopefully it will be a Subatomic Omni-directional Probative Hyper-responsive Indomitable Abdicator (3rd Design) Nora MA-01 level!!
SO I got my 8800GTS 512mb on christmas it is the MSi OC version with 730mhz core and 1944mhz mem speeds, it is on hell of a card and I'm very pleased with it. I am playing Crysis in DX10 very high settings at 1440x900 and it is very smooth never goes below 20fps. the card came with Dirt and Lord of the rings online which I will give to my mum as I give her my old 7900GS.
I have also got my best 3Dmark06 score 13661 with my CPU at 3.6Ghz and the card at 830Mhz and 2Ghz Mem.

Well I'm a male IRL, and most of the time I play male characters. More so in an MMO environment than a single player experience. The reason I USUALLY play males in MMO's is because of a couple factors:
1. The character is my avatar, a virtual representation of myself, so I pick a male. Helps if I can make myself look like a bad ass. lol.
2. Female characters are guaranteed to get hit on by every other male in the game (which is about 90% of the population). Can be extremely annoying. I feel sorry for the real women who play these games 
However, lately I've been playing female characters in WoW. Why you ask? Well, for one thing, it's something different. And I just find the female models to be more aesthetically pleasing (i.e. stylish animations, etc.) I am NOT one of those guys who sits there and strips his Night Elf naked to dance in Ironforge lol. When I say "aesthetically pleasing" I mean just that; the animations, the art, etc. But there will ALWAYS be other people who judge and don't understand and blame you for being homosexual just because you played a female character in an MMO. To these people, I'd like to ask if they ever played Tomb Raider, or ANY game with a female lead role, and ask them if they think playing that is homosexual behavior. Pure nonsense and absolute rubbish. But then, I really don't care what the opinion is of someone who is that immature.
For some reason, in WoW I find it harder to play females than in Guild Wars. In Guild Wars all my characters are female. Maybe it's the fact that WoW has more of a sense of a "World". I don't know the reasoning. In Hellgate London, my characters are female. Just some examples.
I once was a member of a guild in WoW who had a male character who was actually played by a female. And I can understand why women do this. The flirting and one liners really get annoying when you're playing. I mean come on people. We are here to play a GAME, NOT to pick up a date. If you are using WoW to meet women, you have some serious issues that need dealt with.
Some people just won't ever get it, or understand. But I'm fine with that. It's like a lot of things in life. The important thing is that I play the way I WANT to have fun, and enjoy myself.
So yeah that's not to fun. Neither is being stuck at home. So I mostly try to get out as much as possible and otherwise lock myself in my room. Soccer season started and I'm reffing again so I'll be making a pretty penny at the end of the season (1 paycheck at the end
